This Chevron is located on 148th Avenue NE and is close to the Microsoft RedWest campus and the on-ramp for SR 520, which is down the block. There is also a 7-Eleven adjacent to the gas station. Gas pricing is pretty good for a Chevron station, which usually has higher prices. It may be because of the Microsoft effect as I have seen Microsoft company vehicles using this station to refill. Combining this commercial business with that of retail in which Microsoft employees are filling up here leads to some lower prices. Still, pricing is above what you would pay at Costco. Overall, it is an okay gas station if you are in the vicinity and need to fill up. read more

I work at Microsoft and only use the Chevron on 148th Ave. A couple of weeks ago, my car started running rough. I took it in to be checked, and I had a clogged injector from bad gas. I had to get a new injector, and they had to run a cleaner through my fuel system. This was the last straw for me, because a few years ago, I had my debit card compromised there also. I do not recommend this gas station, and I will not ever return to buy fuel there again. read more

When it comes to gas stations, two things are important above all else: the location and the price. If a gas station fails on both parts, then there's no reason to visit it unless you're desperate. This Chevron succeeds on both parts, which is why I like it. It is conveniently located on 148th Ave NE near SR-520, and gas stations are always best when they are close to major freeways. The prices are also starting to fall a bit and it's not almost four dollars per gallon anymore. As of October 1, 2014, it's $3.69 per gallon for regular, which is pretty acceptable nowadays. I love how they have paper towels so that it's possible to complete an entire transaction here without really touching any of their machines. From the buttons to the pump, the paper towels take care of everything. They also have wipers for you to clean your windshield, although you have to do that yourself. Still nice to have in a gas station, though. They get bonus points for having an attendant available even in the middle of the night. read more

It's okay as far as gas stations go. One thing to be aware of is that during rush hours (morning commute, lunch time, evening commute) this station get's jammed up with cars like you wouldn't believe. Plus, it's hard to get in and out of the lot depending on which direction you are headed. I don't normally give reviews out of spite but this Chevron is in the middle of an area where there are ZERO public restrooms and even after making a purchase the cashier still said I couldn't use the restroom. The only way you can take a pee around here is if you work at Microsoft or live in the nearby apartments. I had parked at ProClub, where my partner took the kids we nanny, and had no way inside ProClub and my partner wasn't allowed to leave the children unattended, so I looked at my map to find the closest public area and voila, Chevron was 0.2 miles away. So I decided to take a stroll in the pouring down rain to this Chevron and after a heavy downpour I finally saw the beautiful Chevron logo in my sights. I normally buy petro from here cause its chevron, its near my work and i dont have to drive out of my way to get to it. I absolutely hate buying gas. gas and laundry i despise. anyways, one night when it was mad snowing out and i needed gas, these guys were all out. the snow piles up on the streets in this area and when the snow melts it turns to slush almost feet high. intense. from work during lunchtime theres no left turn onto 51st and its a huge hassle to get there. they do by the way have a 7-11 with quite the selection of hot, and microwavable foods. chicken wings, pizza, chicken fingers, taquitos, nachos, hot dogs, hot links, burger dogs* dont ask. as well as your normal high in sodium microwavable section. they also sell video games and rock band, wtf? the dudes behind the counter are legit. definitely a good place to buy a pack of cigarettes, petro, beer, and them munchies read more

Re: Young cashier with lazy eye. I would give this place ZERO stars if I could. I was in a rush going from one job to the next and completely out of gas, I left my Visa Debit card at home and had my credit card with my ID to give the gentleman at the counter since I recently moved a couple times for work I cannot remember my zip code. Long story short, and mind you, I work for the Government so I'm pretty level headed about most things. He refused my service (rudely from the get go probably because I interrupted his phone time) all due to my card having a chip. I have used this card everywhere, it's Bank of America card, nothing weird going on, I just needed gas. Then this kid (he lost his gentleman title) started to tell me how me losing my zip is my problem and why should he care, (clearly just wanted to get back to whatever inappropriate film he was watching "something" on his phone. Then he started calling me names and saying that I was entitled. In so many ways this kid has failed customer service and at this rate, life.... I typically don't get so over worked, I even asked for his name or a manager so I could handle this with someone with maybe a little more education, but after being called names, being told that he isn't going to help me because it's not his problem, seeing what I saw on his phone, and then to top it all off, he called the police because I kept standing there asking for him to allow me to get gas since I was out. I did not raise my voice once or use any foul language and he called the police on me!! My father, brother, boyfriend, and most family are cops, and me one day, he was way out of line, he was wrong for how he handled the situation and I hate to say this, but I truly hope he loses his job because if he did this to someone who can keep their cool, he's going to say something to the wrong person and they may not be so collected. read more

I get my gas, I drive the additional 2 minutes to work, and everyone's happy. Prices are in line with what you pay for gas in the area, and if you have enough Safeway points you score a bit of a discount. I've never had trouble with the pumps--all the screens and nozzles work, and thankfully I don't have to go to a centralized island to pay (pet peeve of mine at gas stations). This place gets packed in the evenings after work, though, as the entire Microsoft crowd seems to favour this gas station. You might experience a bit of a wait then, but otherwise everything seems to run smoothly here. read more

This is my gas station and I love it... okay no I don't love a gas station, but it gets the job done and is right beside where I work. It does tend to get really busy sometimes, but since Im around here all day I just go whenever it's not packed, so that hasn't been an issue for me.
