I was here for 20-mins last night waiting to meet up with a coworker. I had time to get gas, wash my windows, use the restroom, and make some observations. A long time ago, I had a job with a national auditing service. Our specialty was small retail and fuel. My secondary job was as a fuel auditor. I had to go to gas stations around 4-6 am and verify the amount of gas in an underground tank. That's why I like to do Yelp reviews on gas stations. Initially, this looks like a beautiful and modern gas station. Fresh and bright decor make it interesting and inviting. The islands seem spacious, but they aren't. If you have a large vehicle, use the island nearest the carwash. Stay away from the North Capitol side of the far pumps. It's hard to maneuver around the island if there's cars parked at the foodmart. I didn't use the carwash, so I can't comment on the multi-pricing offers. All I have to say is....if you drive a brand new vehicle, don't use a machine carwash. It will put micro scratches in the clear coat, and ruin that mirror shine. The food mart is nice inside. Modern and cool, it makes a visitor want to go inside to check it out. It's clean, shiny, and well stocked. Very nice.....easy 4-5 stars! You know what's not clean and shiny? The restroom. This gas station has a single all-gender restroom, with code entry. It is disgusting and nasty. It looks like animals live in there. It's barely acceptable as a mens room, but women have to use it too. That's the problem with the "all-gender" restroom. Men and women all use the same bathroom. But I understand why. The workers don't like to clean it, so it seldom gets attention. That's why you get 3-stars overall. Nice gas station, high gas prices, beautful food mart, but nasty restroom. C'mon, would you let your Mom use that restroom? Clean it!

Came here for a car wash and the car in front of me STOLE my car wash (he pretended to enter a code…read morebut he actually didn't). I entered my code as he drove into the tunnel (which is what I usually do at other car washes). After his car wash finished, I noticed the green "GO" sign didn't light up for me but thought maybe it wasn't working so I tried entering my code in again but it said code was used. I still thought maybe if I drove in, it would work so drove into the tunnel and waited a couple minutes but the car wash did not start for me (that's when I realized he used my car wash). I drove out and found him in his car parked outside so I walked up to him to let him know. He pretended to roll down his window and drove off. I'm assuming he does this often. Luckily, I was able to get a new code when I told staff inside. Five stars because the staff was super nice and resolved the problem quickly. This is my warning to wait until the car in front of you leaves before entering in your code! Definitely learned my lesson.

Everybody else doesn't do that. They leave the car wash open and he goes in there and hides away and turns all the lights off because sometimes you need to go to the window if the gas pump doesn't work or if you need a receipt and sometimes when the car wash was open, if you ask for the towel, but like I said, I can't stand that guy that works at night. Everybody else I like is super friendly. He does this to everybody.

I went there last night after dinner around 8pm-ish, and there's plenty of gas pumps. There's signs showing that it's one way to drive into the pumps. I filled my car with the premium gas, and it's was $4.75 per gallon. A bit cheaper than the spots that I usually go to back in Newark. I like the tap card function on the pumps. I didn't go into the store so no idea how it is inside. There's plenty of yummy spots nearby such as Somi Somi, Shihlin, Pizza My Heart & more. There's also a CVS in that plaza too.

I got there today at 520am, all closed up. Went into the store thinking by 530am would be open..NOPE. I drove by at 535am and still no one there. You may need to hire someone who can get to work on time as a few others drove in and drove out as i was leaving also., Why post you open at 5am when you're not and seems from other reviews this has been a ongoing issue

The Chevron app works here so you can save some money on each gallon and rack up points for your next fill up. The prices are reasonable and the location is just to the highway and eateries. I'm fairly certain they don't charge extra for credit cards. They do here. I'm not sure if businesses are encouraging cash payments because of high credit card fees or as a way to be creative with their earnings. Interestingly enough for diesel you don't pay any extra for using a credit card. I'm really not sure what this is all about. Maybe at seven dollars a gallon for diesel they figure you are getting soaked enough. Not the brightest gas station. I remember very yellow type lighting. I suppose that helps for not attracting moths - I have the same lights in my entry hall and mud room and porch lights. A stone turtle is hiding in the bushes. Its bigger than life and I suppose it gives the gas station some character. Its not the attraction of a sinclair dinosaur but at least its something.

I didn't think this would be true because every time I complained nothing was done still no receipt paper at pumps. But come to find out there is finally receipt paper at pumps this makes a huge difference for us truckers in hurry, I now see her and the tall bald guy out there checking the pumps . I also want thank her for also carrying a vegan sandwich again that I was requesting.

Apple Pay wasn't working and wouldn't take my card so I had to go inside. You can't really see anyone inside so you have to knock and someone will appear. Price wasn't too bad , but there wasn't any squeegee to clean my windows. I did like it's right off the 101 freeway.

However, I always leave shaking my head when I come here, and I only come here for emergencies. I try to avoid going here because it's a total sh*t show, especially during peak commute / business hours. I would say from 7am to 7pm is the worst time. Parking is very limited here with all sorts of people trying to pump gas, get a car wash or run in for snacks. It's a pain going in and getting out. I lost count of how many near accidents would happen when drivers are trying to pull out and they dont see oncoming traffic from the other lane. EVERYTHING is expensive here. From the gas, to the car washes, to the food. They were able to get away with charging an arm and a leg here for a long time because they really had no competition. I came in the other day because I needed a snack and a sports drink. An 8oz red bull almost cost me $4 (it was around $3.50 + tax). A simple sandwich is over $5, most of their protein bars and chips are over priced. Cashiers take forever, especially when they are in the middle of a shift change. I'm glad they have a Rotten Robbie down the street now. It's much roomier, less busy, less expensive and you save yourself alot of time and hassle. Sometimes it's worth the extra few minutes to drive there and the avoid all the BS here.
