Apple Pay wasn't working and wouldn't take my card so I had to go inside. You can't really see anyone inside so you have to knock and someone will appear. Cheapest Gas I can find - it's Cash only. Since it's cheap it's always packed but if I'm in the area I always fill up. When I did the calculation this was even cheaper than Costco Gas. Must say - these guys are busy but efficient and honest. I stupidly paid with $100 - only pumped $50 worth of Gas - and drove off without getting my change. This is probably the cheapest gas station that I have seen in the Bay Area. This is your go to place if you want cheap gas. Personally, I hardly ever go here since it's really not worth it. I rather pay a little bit more and go a little further down the street to get gas. There's always a long line at this gas station and it's really dirty in my opinion. People are always starring at you and at times, it makes me uncomfortable. Also, the staff there doesn't say much to you. They are always talking to each other or something. Doesn't seem like they care about anything else. They are located right off 101 and Mckee.You can regularly find gas to be $0.10 cheaper** than other places around BUT it also has the longest lines ever. They have cones up to driect people in the right direction but you can still expect to wait upwards of 10minutes just to reach the pump. With that in mind; what is your time really worth? *There is another station accross the street that competes in price, they only accept cash but have an ATM inside that only charges $0.50/ transaction. Do the math to determine if its worth it. I have never been able to get their credit card readers at the pumps to work which means making at least 2 trips to the cashier if I am going to pay with credit card and want to fill up. If you use credit card, gas is at least 10 cents higher. 2. If you use debit card, there is a 45 cent charge and a maximum of $60 or something. This becomes a bigger deal if your car needs at least $60 per tank - then you would have to pay an additional 45 cent charge to add more money. 3. At Gas & Shop, it's at least a little more organized. One way (even though most people don't follow it) and roomier than their counterpart. The one thing that urks me about this location is the actual gas pump, it doesn't extend very far. So if you're thinking...hmm clear on this side but my tank is on the other...it's fine, the pump should reach...you will be sorely mistaken! Aside from that, super inexpensive gas. Prime location. I went to fill up on January 9th around 3 P. M. because the gas is inexpensive. Next day I found out that in fact is really CHEAP. But, I was also charged fraudulently $130.81 cents by the cheating preprogrammed ATM at the pumps. I went that Sunday the 10th, to let them know and to get my money back. I found the whole place rotten and completely dirty and unappealing, but the old man behind the register to be nice. The woman on the other side, is very RUDE and in fact, she refuses to cooperate with customers needing to talk to the manager. I found the manager on Monday the 11th around 11 in the morning, and he refused to give me my money back, citing his need to investigate. I called my bank, and they are still investigating. Yesterday I talked to the manager again, and showed him where my bank has not returned my money as of yet. He promised to talk to the owner and would call me today. As I saw hej didn't call me at 11 today I went back. That woman said he went to a meeting out of the office. I might just file law suit in the Superior Court on Monday the 3rd of February, he left me no choice. It will cost him about $1000.00 instead of $130.81 by the time I add my fees and closing costs. This place might have the cheapest gas prices in town but there is always a catch to something that good. There is a familiar saying "you get what you pay for". Well in my situation I received nothing when I paid $20 I had forgot to put my gas in and when I called them right away they where unwilling to help me out by allowing me to receive what I paid for.
