The gasoline here is more expensive than other stations near by. Also, this gas station is on a bad corner where no u-turns are allowed from any direction, so it's incredibly inconvenient when leaving here. read more

There is a very, very belligerent and super aggressive employee that works here and harasses myself and maybe other customers as well. Before school, next to Palomar College, I tend to stop by for a beverage and/or coffee/soda. Earliest in the month, this employee followed me out of the store and called me racial slurs and took multiple unsolicited photos of myself only after refusing to honor a store discount. The Palomar Campus police took absolutely no action at all after I stopped by their office for help. The time listed upon the door says the Campus Police close at 4:00pm and at 4:05pm there was no response from anyone at the Campus Police bldg. I also find this very strange as I have several friends who frequent the campus library and other misc. departments that close around 8:00pm. I have no idea of what transpires upon campus between 16:00-20:00. It is for certain though, that the Chevrons within this location as well as surrounding locations need to have their staff revamped, completly. On the next occasion, I will absolutely be reaching out to my attorney to file charges as I am a disabled veteran and the employee from this morning increased my wrist pain highly. Carpel Tunnel syndrome does not make this any of a brighter situation. read more

I've been coming to this gas station for a couple years. Overall OK but I'm giving the 1 star because of the dilapidated payment system on their pumps. Sun bleached, slow response on many. Some don't even work anymore. I would not be surprised if there was significant revenue loss because of this. I hope the owner sees this post and will make some improvements. read more

The credit card readers never work at the pumps. You always have to go in and pay. It's also the most expensive gas station in the area. I only use this station if it's an emergency. read more

My frustration with this car wash is high. I spent ten minutes trying to get the card reader to take either of my cards, and repeatedly got a "busy" message and no car wash. The car in front of me had a full wash. This is a constant at this location, if the wash is working at all. I pull through when I want a quick wash on my drive home. The complete failure of the payment system, plus the fact that the car wash itself is down so often, make my score so low. read more

Fast service and washing process. Also not expensive compared to others in San Marcos area. Most of all, very close to my house. Normally I don't like touch material washing service machines because it scratches sometimes but here synthetic washing materials not really old and harsh neither on my car's surface. They have the wheel cleaner, but seems like not really working good by the way. read more

This has got to be the WORST place to get gas ever!!! The pumps NEVER work!! Just went around to every pump without a car in front of them and none of them took cards and were just beeping like crazy!! My fiancé and I jogged here after the gym to buy swishers. I didn't have a single item on me since my fiancé had his wallet and keys. When we picked our swisher flavor and he went to pay, I was also asked for my ID.... we're obviously not teenagers. My fiancé is even over the required age to not be ID'd himself (27).. this is crazy! Don't tell customers that it's the law when it's not at all! Best drive through car wash around car - also the least expensive high grade fuel in San Marcos. There are less expensive stations but I wouldn't run their fuel. This is also the cleanest gas station I have ever seen. I know where I'm getting gas from now on. read more

Store is always clean and the bathrooms are even cleaner! The staff is very friendly and very helpful. The pumps are the only downside but the staff make up for it by helping every step of the way. Great gas station and will definitely be coming back. read more

Be careful in morning, the young ladies seem to be annoyed! They are short and to the point!! For a while I noticed that they ask you if you want a receipt, which I always say no need.. BE CAREFUL! They charged cigarettes on your card if you don't check your receipt!! read more

Besides the nice car wash, everything here sucks. None of the pumps work and it makes it seem like somebody is messing with your information. The people are not friendly and it is an all together nightmare. Just today I have chosen 4 different pumps and they do not work. Terrible Gas station. Today, May 28, 2016 @ 11 AM I payed for a regular car wash at the pump which was more $ than the express. I looked around the pump to see what the regular car wash included and didn't see any info so I felt safe buying the regular wash. Turned out the regular wash is touch free which did nothing for cleaning my vehicle. I went back inside to get a refund and comped the express which uses the brushes and they told me they can't do it. There were 2 cashiers and they said they are aware they do not display what's in the wash at the pump but that I should have been reading the signs by the car wash AFTER I already purchased it. This is one of the cleanest gas stations ever! The snack and drink selection is great plus priced right! Currently you can get any sized fountain drink for $.99. Cool little Freal machine that whips up a milk shake. Even has a clean bathroom. Car wash is a bit expensive but it does clean and shine your car. The staff working in the store is absolutely the worst. It's mind boggling how rude and disrespectful they can be and still keep their jobs. This makes me think that the person doing the hiring is out-of-tune with what good customer service means and how important it is. I've gone in and stood at the counter watching 2 of them having a gossip filled conversation while ignoring me for up to 30seconds (they saw me), only to continue the conversation while ringing me up and not to say a single word to me. This happens often. This chick today (short young girl with princess lea looking hair) rolled her eyes at me twice - once for asking the price of something (I needed to know so I could figure out if I had enough for something else too). The staff seems like they don't want to be there. Very often I'm served without being spoken to or even looked at (like I said, particularly if the person is engaged in a discussion with another co-worker) I'm not making that up, it's the truth. They will stand sideways facing a co-worker talking while ringing me up, not even facing me and this happens often. Go there, you'll see. The whole staff is this way. Absolutely, positively, the worst. I think that the person that is in charge of hiring is hiring for reasons other than good customer service skills, experience, etc. Probably hiring friends. This is the 1st time I ever use yelp to complain. This gas station is is a good spot, but from here forward I will just get my gas here and then just go across the street to CVS to shop. I really suggest everyone else does too. It's not such a big deal that the staff is so disrespectful, but it just doesn't feel good when I leave and realize I was treated in a way that I would never treat a person.
