Power-Tripping Cashier, Overpriced Gas--Avoid! Absolutely awful service at this Chevron (Sepulveda & Sherman Way). I stopped to get gas and went inside to use the bathroom. I literally saw someone walk out of it, but the cashier Angie snapped at me, "Bathroom's closed!" No explanation, just pure attitude. Denying someone the bathroom--especially after they spent money there--is not only rude, it's inhumane. I wasn't causing any problems. I just needed to pee. Angie was on a total power trip, treating me like I didn't matter. If this is how she treats paying customers, she has no business working with the public. This place is overpriced AND disrespectful. The lady at the front desk always mixes up the numbers and either doesn't give the correct amount of change or puts gas on a different pump than the one you tell her. She also has an attitude when you try to correct her. read more

I live in the neighborhood and I've been a regular customer here for years. This morning I went in to buy cigarettes and one of their employees Gloria was very rude to me. After I bought my cigarettes I waited patiently for my receipt. Gloria said you're good to go, twice. I said I was waiting for my receipt. She said with major attitude, You need to tell me." No I don't. Most customers expect a receipt. If they don't want one then they can tell you but it is not my job to tell you I want the receipt, nor is it my job to ask you for it. That is your job to ask or offer it. Because of you Gloria, this business just lost a loyal customer of 11 years who was willing and has been paying more for gas and other products compared to its competitors. I hope your manager sees this and remembers this next time you ask for a raise. read more

I've been to this Chevron over 100+ times this year for fuel, snacks and drinks. It's very well staffed during the day. Employees do a great job of keeping this location clean and the store well stocked/organized. They almost always have freshly brewed containers of Seattle's Best Coffee which customers can prepare iced or hot. Service is generally pretty good. read more

You know it is kinda hard to review a gas station. A lot of them are the same. I have never had a problem with this location. Their mini-mart is always clean and well stocked. There is rarely ever stuff in the aisles and they have their hot food going. The exterior is well kept and always have paper towels and window cleaners. My only gripe is that with the area not being so good their mini-mart isn't open late at night or in the early mornings. You have to go to the window instead. read more

This review is just for the Extra Mile convenience store. It was spotless. I rarely write reviews, so the fact that I am bothering to give this place five stars means a lot. The station has free air for your tires, too. When I was a kid, free air was at every station. Chevron is wise not to nickel and dime us like so many other stations. But back to Extra Mile. Friendly cashiers rang us up. The coffee bar was tempting enough that my friend bought some. He said it was really good. My Diet Pepsi was just fine, but it's hard to mess that up. read more

One of the cleanest inside even the restrooms and most incredible customer service we've ever received at a gas station.

It was a Sunday afternoon, not early in the morning, not late at night, mid day, I went in to buy a pair of sunglasses, they were 12 dollars, I asked the attendant if she could take a hundred dollar bill, she snaps at me, "for that!?" I say yes, and she rudely tells me "No, it has to be 30 dollars", she acted as if I was trying to buy a single piece of candy or something. If this is in fact their policy, it is absolutely ridiculous. A hundred dollar bill is legal tender for all debts in the USA, public or private. There was no call for her bad attitude, I was not trying to pull a fast one or anything. Oh well, there are plenty of other gas stations with convenience stores. read more

I am only writing a review because I pulled up this past Monday morning and received exceptional service. While everyone hates life in the mornings, especially on a Monday, Richard had a smile on his face, was friendly, welcoming and energetic. 99% of the time I pump at Chevron because of my Von's card, but my go to recently changed to a 76. This is the closest chevron to me from encino, and I probably get gas here about once a week on my way home from work. The staff work really well trying to make sure that the facility grounds are clean, and I often see them sweeping on Sunday mornings when I often get gas. The store is convenient for snacks. They also have a pump that sells racing fuel which is amusing but makes sense for the speed racers that live in van nuys. Overall, this is a great gas station, and I don't mind coming out of my way to get gas here if necessary. read more

In the area seems to have one of the better prices for the quality. It always had decent prices on gatorades as well as red bulls and other energy drinks. Bathrooms are clean locations always clean as well I like this place. read more

Nearly a decade behind the wheel, a thousand gas stations nationally and internationally (Mexico, Italy, Spain) never have I been tricked over money like I was at this location. I was entering the gas station and couldn't help but notice a night crawler (call girl) in the gas station almost in a bare minimal as if it was Eve herself depicting a modern day twist just loitering around. The guy behind the counter of course was trying to flirt with her and spit game so he mentions get something you want. I was like smh but then again couldn't judge cause it was an act of kindness. I thought he was going to pay out of his pocket to get her attention. This girl literally went from having noting to have a few things accumulated in point seconds. She literally just charged for her fountain drink a dollar or little bit less to be exact and walked out with like 5 to 10 dollars worth of stuff. As I was approaching with my friend he someone managed a way to keep money from us so he can make up for the losses he has just given this girl. It took me a second later to realize what has happened. I wasnt about to fight over a dollar or so it's not worth it. He didn't ring me up and said it was x amount right off the bat , I knew it was pretty sketchy when he didn't scan and threw out a random number like that.
