This is very popular! A lot of people are in town for the Halloween displays. It only seemed right to stop by here for a hot cup of coffee and a little macaroon. The coffee was delicious and the staff was very hard-working and kind. I look forward to coming back again.

Great selection of breads, cakes, macaroons and teas. Staff is nice but when busy they look severely stressed out and become overwhelmed and not as pleasant. Cute atmosphere. Bathroom could use attention at times. Macaroons were excellent.

Bakery @ Lambertville, NJ We dropped by on Tuesday evening when there was no crowd. The pear Danish and black coffee were so so. There were variety of cakes, macarons, bread, cookies, sweet breads, even salad and sandwiches to try. There are 3.5% processing fee when you pay with a credit card. The inside was decorated nicely with wall murals and windows panels.

This gorgeous little pastry shop is right over the walking bridge in Lambertville. There is an indoor seating area that is quaint and gives off a bistro feel. The pastries look like works of art on display. They have individual small options as well as full size cakes. There was a cookie bar as well and a refrigerated case of sandwiches in case you were looking for something a little more savory, We sampled the cinnamon roll and it was delicious. This is the perfect spot to end a night out with a special treat.

We just got one thing but it exceeded my expectations - the pistachio croissant. Crunchy bottom and nice custardy center. They actually gave you a decent amount of filling. The inside was whatever - I like interior that is more lowkey and simple. It was pink, sparkly cutesy Paris. Service was minimal as I only bought take away. They have a lot of different pastries that look really good, made me curious to try more.

Lambertville is a small town in NJ which I happened to visit with a friend as an outing. It felt like a small American town sufficient in its self. It was a perfect weather and after lunch we decided to go for desserts. This is a perfect place to give us Europe feeling. Their displays are pretty catchy and you can end up shopping to get Paris feel. The deserts are of varied varieties and they r pretty delicious . They also had disposables for to go and silverware if we want to dine in. I like this approach which will take care of environment. Tiramisu and flan were amazing

This place has wonderful pastries and really cute tea and coffee service, but the interior décor is a bit on the tacky side. I stopped in while exploring Lambertville, and the dining area felt like it was trying a little too hard to imitate Paris with the wallpaper and knickknacks. Definitely on the expensive end.

I have them 3 stars based on my initial impression and reading some of the 1,2, and 3 star reviews. There is no question the presentation of their products is outstanding. They have a great assortment of cakes, cookies, macaroons and pastries. You can also purchase tea sets and other assorted tea accessories. The store definitely makes you want to buy. I think they are a little overpriced on their food for the area. I would expect those prices in downtown Manhattan where the rents are astronomical. Service was ok, the place looked very clean although I was bothered as one employee who was male was wearing a hair net. All the other employees who were female with long hair had no hair nets on whatsoever. After reading some of the reviews I can understand that how some of the empty or the manager may be inattentive or even rude. I took home a pear danish and a cookie. They were good although was not better than most of the great bakeries I've been to in Brooklyn or Manhattan. I would say that they are worth a try if you're hungry and looking for good pastries in Lambertville. I would be cautious about sitting down at a table based on the reviews I read.

Do you want some delicious croissants , cakes, and desserts? This is the place My friends and I had the mango mouse, lemon tart, marriage cake and a chocolate croissants and it was all absolutely scrumptious We walked across the bridge from New Hope just to eat this after dinner .. inside it's a cute French chic design.. and the service is quick and we even got some free samples we were all happy

I enjoyed this location way more than the OG in Princeton. It's roomier, brighter, and the staff is friendlier. Plus, you get to REALLY see everything before making a selection. Granted, it doesn't have that real Parisian patisserie vibe as the overcrowded Princeton location but it's ok. I can move in here! And find a seat! We laughed with the staff over recommendations, we enjoyed our pastries, and we made conversation over a HUGE hot chocolate with our neighbors at the next seat over. Just a delightfully sweet time!

I'm giving three stars for the pastries (outstanding), two for the breakfast sandwich (more on that to follow), one star for the coffee and no stars for the customer service. Now the details: The pastries are amazing. I had an almond croissant while I was there that was amazing. I purchased pistachio croissants to go and enjoyed them tremendously the next day. I'll be coming back to explore more of their pastry selection and you should too. The breakfast sandwich I ordered was good, but microwaved to the point where it was the temperature of the sun. I love a hot sandwich, but this was something else. Without exaggeration, it took at least 10 minutes before it was a reasonable temperature, and at that I had to disassemble it to get the meat and eggs to cool down. The drip coffee is good, but I felt my cappuccino was tasteless. For what they charged, it should not have tasted like fish water. Finally, the major flaw is the customer service. The employees are not pleasant. They do not make eye contact. They don't speak. And the cashier, in particular, seemed very annoyed by every customer request. While I liked several things about this business, they will not survive in this competitive coffee/baked goods environment of Lambertville/New Hope if they don't radically improve their customer service. Final tip: Definitely try them, but the customer service will leave you feeling disappointed.

Founded in 1991 on Nassau Street, Princeton, this establishment began its journey as a French-inspired artisanal bakery known for its delicate and delicious pastries and elegant décor. Just over the Pennsylvania border from New Hope, where people go for the one-off restaurants rather than the chains, it can be difficult to stand out, but Chez Alice Patisserie does just that. Upon entering this store as first-timers, which was clean, bright, and inviting, it immediately transported us from the streets of Lambertville to a quiet corner of Paris. The display cases were bursting with an amazing assortment of high-quality baked goods of all sorts and tastes. The baker is a French-trained pastry chef who prepares croissants, macarons, and pastries with a focus on flavor instead of relying on a ton of sugar. The only difficulty was choosing which one to have. My partner and I decided on the Chocolate Raspberry Torte and Parisian Flan. Everything we purchased was perfectly packaged and bagged for a safe trip back home. The staff was friendly, especially the generosity of the one of the owners, Wayne. We can't wait for a return visit to dine, which we could recommend.

10/25/24: While walking around Lambertville, we stumbled upon Chez Alice. The place looked so adorable with a wonderful European flair. Just had to go in! : D So many wonderful luscious treats to choose from. The restaurant serves lunch and a *French tea (*think by reservation only). Chez Alice carries adorable gifts such as beautifully scented mini candles, teacups, stationary and much more.... We ended leaving with two croissants- one Pistachio and the other Cranberry. My Pistachio was HEAVEN!. The cream inside was to die for. My friend LOVED the Cranberry croissant. Customer service was good. Looking forward for a return visit to update.

I started with an excellent pear drop martini. The glasses are so pretty and the service amazing! Hubby had a delicious apricot old fashioned. For dinner hubby started with the loaded potato soup and then had the chicken Neapolitan's with corkscrew pasta. The sauce was so fresh and tasty. The chicken was stuffed with ham and cheese and the breaded chicken crispy and perfect. I opted for the seasonal risotto which had locally farmed mushrooms and artichokes. I added organic chicken and omg, so good! We will definitely have another meal tomorrow because it's so much food. We were too full for after dinner drink or dessert but hubby wanted a cup of coffee. It was cold but honestly, he didn't complain because the service and food was amazing. We sat outside and there was a delightful breeze which made it so nice. There were umbrellas that kept the sun away. Be sure to duck if you are tall!

Rosie helped us with our various questions about the menu and gave us helpful suggestions. I was initially bummed that they didn't have a traditional offering of soda as I was itching for a Diet Coke, but their tasty unsweet tea made up for it. For my entree, I ended up going with the charred corn salad, plus chicken. Cumulatively, our table also had the quinoa sweet potato burger and the udon noodle bowl. We were all really happy with our selections. The restaurant itself was adorable and cozy, which made it a perfect spot to unwind a bit after a busy day shuffling around the New Hope and Lambertville area.

The poutine fries had this delectable salty gravy and a good amount of meat and cheese. The shrimp tacos tasted bright and fresh. Everything was delicious. Sorry we were so hungry and I forgot to take pictures! I ordered a Blood Orange margarita, which was strong but well balanced and tasted like it was made with fresh juice--it made an excellent impression! I hate margaritas made with sweet and sour mix, and I'm pretty picky since I make my own juice mix when I make margaritas at home. I was like, "There drink game is next level." So I felt confident ordering the Strawberry Rosemary 75--but it was a big let down. It had a very chemical taste reminding me of lemon all-purpose cleaner. Usually I like gin cocktails but I didn't care for the flavor combo with this one. I hate wasting food, but I could barely take a sip without gagging. It says on the menu that it's a house favorite --and that is deceiving! Lol. The service was fantastic. Food came out in perfect timing. Our server clearly saw we were enjoying ourselves and did not rush us, and instead paced our meal well. I wish I could remember his name--but he was a lovely gentleman working 5/22. We loved the atmosphere with the plants. We would totally come back! Keep up the great work!

The fried avocado, eggs cooked exactly as ordered, and all the delicious toppings made it an easy repeat order (yes, we ordered it all three times!). The steak sandwich with cheese and horseradish was a pleasant surprise. I was expecting shredded beef, but it came with tender chopped steak, which made it even better. The crispy chicken sandwich with peppers and burrata was also really tasty. The corned beef Reuben had great flavor, but it didn't travel quite as well as the other sandwiches, so I'd recommend enjoying that one fresh in the restaurant if possible. A special shout-out to the home fries--perfectly seasoned and absolutely delicious. Everything arrived fresh, the portions were generous, and the food was consistently excellent. We first heard of this place because June's had closed down in Whitehouse and their chef started doing pop-ups here. We didn't catch one of June's popups, but wanted to try them out. We started with a burrata that came with tomato and fried potato. It was quite good and a nice light starter for the day. I also ordered a hotty toddy with it. It's a drink comprised of tea, ginger syrup, and honey. Weirdly, it was much more tart than I was anticipating, but I also couldn't put my finger on what type of tea it was... perhaps black? Anyway, my entree was the Hash Bowl. I added pork to mine to get some extra protein, and am happy to report that they did not skimp on the protein. They do charge $3 or $4 extra for the added protein, but I think it's well worth it to add a meat to the dish. Its hash brown, smothered with cheese, atop egg with tomatoes and a fried avocado. It's a very good portion, and I enjoyed it. I wanted to try the dessert, but unfortunately was much too full by the end to have room for it. Next time :)

Perhaps this review is a bit belated, but it's never unnecessary to mentally return back to a trip…read more(from a few months ago) to ensure I close out my reviews from that time with one more stellar write up. Herein lies the five stars of Stella of New Hope which was a superb dinner for my wife and I on what was a lovely April night. This evening of early April was nice enough to warrant eating outside (albeit with the help of some heat lamps) on Stella's deck area overlooking the Delaware River. It's quite a calming view and definitely set the mood of the night. What also helped was some fabulous service as our waiter was kind, attentive, and gave a few great suggestions for the menu. After getting a couple of refreshing drinks (the wife did a margarita while I had the bourbon-based Stella Spritz) we headed down the food path. Those aforementioned menu suggestions started playing a role here as the waiter suggested the house-made bread, but told us we can get the brown pumpkin sage butter that's usually on top of said bread on the side (a fantastic idea, especially because my wife can be a little iffy with pumpkin/sage). Now it was a great thing to have that butter for dipping, but dang I wish the Delaware River was filled with it because that was some good spread! The wife even enjoyed it, and the flavors really complimented the warm, fluffy brioche type loaf that we consumed. For the main course, my wife got what can only be described as every onion ever (more on that in a sec), while I took the waiter advice one more time and got something I don't normally have, hence why I went for the house-made lobster ravioli. Wow were these tender morsels exquisitely delicious. The butter, lemon, and truffle found in the sauce added such flavorful notes. Speaking of flavors, it's onion time! My wife ordered the French onion pasta which literally lists four or five different kinds of onions in its menu description and really creates a wild punch on the palate. It was a little rich and perhaps overpowering for my wife to finish on her own (I can understand how it might be a bit heavy to attack for one person), but I helped to get her through most of the meal and I can't say I didn't love the onion life. Maybe it's not for everyone, but if you enjoy a good onion, get this. Overall, Stella of New Hope is a wonderful spot to dine at. There are great views, lovely service, delightful drinks, and some fantastic food worth experiencing. Not the cheapest meal I've ever had, but well worth every dollar spent. I can't say when I'll be back to New Hope, but it's not that far from where I live so there's always a chance I'll return. And if I do, Stella will be on my mind.

Almost like a twice baked but different. Delish! I had the French Onion Pasta. OMG. If you are a French onion fan please run to Stella. I have thought about it ever day since. What a wonderfully bouquet of onion. The whole meal was onion yet not overpowering at all! The cream sauce was not too heavy. This meal is to die for. I cannot wait to go back. The view is amazing, we ate at the window by the river and of course all of the servers and runners are polite and friendly, as is the nature of the upscale restaurant.
