I don't think I have ever had a better waffle. Completely different experience than American waffles. The cinnamon sugar was my favorite.

The server, Victoria, recommended our party could fit together comfortably in a booth but my partner and I chose to sit in a separate booth directly across from our friends. The place filled quickly. Our server worked alone and with only one cook in the kitchen. Additional staff arrived much later. When our order finally arrived the food was hot and very tasty. We were all very satisfied with our meal, however; the server explained that since there was only one burner to make coffee, we would all need to wait for refills. IHOP honors a 10% discount for Veterans. There is plenty of parking in their lot. The place is relatively small but clean. The background music is lively and enjoyable. We will return again but perhaps on a week day when it is less crowded and hopefully better staffed.

IHOP used to be a staple in my usual go-to breakfast spots, especially during my collegiate years…read more However, as I've gotten older and my palette has shifted, breakfast chain restaurants like IHOP appeal to me less and less. So, it was no surprise that I didn't care for my food here. Visiting as a request for my Dad's birthday breakfast before heading off to the beach, we popped into this IHOP. The restaurant was busy, which was expected on a holiday weekend. However, despite that, we were seated right away. We placed our orders, and the food came out quickly. We may have waited maybe 10 minutes at most. Sadly, there is nothing to brag about as far as food goes. It was a standard breakfast. My brother's breakfast chicken sandwich came out a bit too charred, so he ended up eating the bacon off our dad's plate. My buttered biscuit was just NOT good at all. I took maybe two or three bites and decided I couldn't consume it any further. Butter nor jelly could salvage it. Whatever they used to make it just was not jiving my with tastebuds. The cinnamon bun crepes were okay - again, nothing to brag about. My dad was probably the only one who fully enjoyed his meal as he got the standard sampler breakfast with two eggs, protein of your choice, and hash browns. It's pretty hard to mess that up. So, he was happy with his breakfast, which is all that matters, as it was his birthday breakfast anyhow. Our waitress was kind. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was lively. So, no complaints there. We were in and out pretty quickly, so that's a plus. There was ample parking, so no issue there. The restaurant was a little dated in style, but most of these breakfast food chains are. IHOP, while not my usual go-to any longer, is still a decent enough spot to visit for breakfast, especially if you don't want to make your own at home or visit a more pricey breakfast-oriented establishment.

My go to place for a home-cookin style breakfast or lunch! I've been here dozens of times over…read moreyears and years. The owner and most servers know me by name. A large portion of the food pictures on Yelp are mine. I am eminently qualified to review this place so here you go! Arriving- On Main St., 30 seconds off US Route 27. The road is divided so you'll need a quick U-turn. You'll see a well-maintained large parking lot for your convenience. Visiting- This is a breakfast and lunch place but note that dinner type meals are available for lunch. This is Snowbird country and when they're in town I'd stay away from the late Sunday morning church rush. Trust me! Ambience- Florida kitsch and 50s-60s cars décor. Booths along the walls and the usual two-tops and four-tops. No problems with cleanliness. Pro Tip- Decent free wi-fi with no password hassles. Quaffing Choices- No booze here just fountain drinks. Of course, plenty of hot and iced coffee and tea. Pro Tip- If you are dying for an adult libation, have a great lunch here and 30 seconds down the road is a great dive bar that will meet your needs. Just Yelp it! Customer Service- Expect hustling, friendly, competent servers. It's very rare for me to have a problem and any I have are almost always trivial and rectified immediately! Food- A large, laminated sheet with breakfast and lunch on each side. Maybe a tent card with specials. Home-style, American-style comfort food brought to you in often very large portions. There are no surprises here. You'll recognize everything and nothing is fancy, just good, stick to your rib's food! See my pictures for lots and lots of examples. I like one of their several omelets for breakfast. Club sandwiches are large and fresh. The chef's salad is enormous! The Philly cheesesteak is better than decent. I recently enjoyed a giant pork tenderloin sandwich. Burgers are great. They maintain their fryers well and know how to use them so expect solid fried food. Pricing- Assuming you have a drink other than water, most of your meals here are going to be under $15 pre-tip and you will be stuffed! Just a super place for a quick and casual breakfast or lunch. Easily 4 and more like 4.5 stars!

-They dominate the Florida market!-…read more We're the state with the most Wawa's at over 300 and I, for one, am delighted! This fine location is my closest for now, but they are building a new one in my teeny tiny town as I type this. Arriving- Directly on US Rout 27 North so easy peasy. As with most Wawa's it's very busy so slow down and be careful when you park. While you're there, take advantage of their two free air machines for your tires. They're famous for that! When you park, take notice that many close-in spaces are numbered. Ambience- Boatloads of gas pumps with good prices. Not always the best gas price but close and the great food makes up for it. Inside it is bright and cheery and clean. It's 99% take-out so don't plan on sitting inside. The App- I think it's great and I especially like Curbside Pickup! I like it so much that I rarely go inside anymore! Just park in a clearly numbered spot! Customer Service- I'm usually doing Curbside Pickup so it's just one delivery person. They are almost always on time and often a little ahead of the time specified in the app. I have never had an incorrect order. The delivery person is always friendly so five stars. Food- So, every kind of drink you can imagine, and an amazing choice of sandwiches along with pizza. Today I ordered a Classic Roast beef Sub with extra beef and an Iced Coffee which set me back at about $14. The choices available for your sub are more than in most places. I love that they have sweet peppers! It was cheerfully brought out to my car in about 12 minutes. It's delivered in a nice, reusable bag. As you can see from my pic this was a solid sub. The meat was plentiful and tender, and the toppings were very fresh. As usual, it was excellent! Conclusion- These guys are the top of the heap when it comes to convenience/gas chains. Five stars from me!
