Beautifully plated & delicious build-your-own Omelet!
    Steven B.

7 Years! That's how long it's been since I've been to this IHOP or any IHOP. I've never been a huge fan, but I appreciate their iconic status in America. Being in business since 1958 is damn impressive! Arriving- They are on the northbound side of US 27. Their entrance is kind of weird. You need to drive behind the parking lot of an adjacent Sonic. Plenty of parking with 1 handicapped spot for those with the need. Pro Tip- Free Wi-Fi with easy sign in! Atmosphere- Not much really. Lots of booths and an open kitchen. Customer Service- My server had been there 9 years and was superior in every way! Food- Massive menu! Just for breakfast, we're talking pages. Pancakes, waffles, omelets, assorted egg dishes with every side and combination you can think of! I went with a Build-Your-Own omelet with cheddar, ham, and spinach. I paired it with a side of hash browns and coffee. I love it when a place leaves a pot of coffee on the table! My total pre-tip was $17. Take a look at my pic. That is one beautifully plated omelet! Fortunately, it tasted as good as it looked. All three fillings were generous quantities. The hashbrowns were spot on. This was a fine breakfast and I had great time! Pay 'N Go- If you have the app, and I do, this feature allows you to scan a QRC code on your bill and pay at your table. Sadly, this location had not activated it yet! A solid 4-star chain breakfast experience!

Visiting the Grandchildren in Sebring, Florida. Breakfast for 12 people and we were accommodated within 30 minutes. The foo came out quickly and everything was prepared exactly as we requested. Nisaiah was an excellent server and Evan was very helpful in securing a big enough table. If you're visiting Sebring, this is an excellent choice for breakfast.

This is a very different format for an IHOP. A bit closer to the Waffle House style, with the open kitchen exposed to the restaurant area and the counter. It was definitely unusual. At 7:00 AM, the one waitress was hopping. She was trying very hard to keep up with the flow of customers, but she really needed the help. As I was leaving at 7:45, another waitress was parking and getting out of her car. Well done. Breakfast was good. Nice quality, good portions and cooked properly. I had the "harvest grain and nut pancake" combo with eggs over medium and sausages. Very filling and tasty. No hot syrup with my pancakes. The initial carafe of coffee was slow and the one that was on my table when I arrived stayed the whole time. But she did clear the dirty plates when I was done.

-7 years of patronage! -…read more I was 1st to review these fine folks in 2018 and have since had breakfast here many times. This visit was my 1st time for lunch! Important note- This is NOT the franchise chain with a similar name! This is a different family-run, single location restaurant. Pro Tip- Breakfast & Lunch only. Just check Yelp for dinner options in the area. Arriving- They are on the Northbound side of US Route 27, hidden in the Sebring Square Plaza. They're nestled among a string of plazas and signage is not great. Use your GPS. Hint- Look for the Winn-Dixie or Advanced Auto Parts signage and you're there! As they are in a plaza, parking is almost always a snap. Ambience- Don't get excited. It's standard Florida Kitch. You don't go to an inexpensive restaurant to admire the décor. You expect neat and clean, and you will absolutely get that here. Pro Tip- Wi-Fi can be spotty due to the business location. They do have Wi-Fi, but it's restricted to management only. Not the servers, not the customers, just management! Say goodbye to one half star! Customer Service- 10 Stars! I was seated with a menu and had my drink within a minute. I placed my order within a minute of when I was ready and my food was out in less than 10 minutes. Just perfection! My wonderful server was Bobbi-Lynn. I know this because a card on the table told me so. When she delivered my check, she flipped the card over and there was a message. See my picture. So unique and appreciated! Pro Tip- As with many great places in this area, the Sunday church rush is something you do not want to experience! Here it begins around noon so beware of Sundays! Food- Standard American comfort food at its best. As they are in the city of Sebring, you might see a dish called Sebring this or Sebring that, but that's just a marketing ploy. It's still just good ole comfort food. On this visit my trusted Yelp Friend, Art J., recommended the Patty Melt & Crinkle Cut Fries so I went with that. Great job Art! My Melt was piping hot and cooked just as I requested. The caramelized onions were perfect. The fries were hot and crispy. Just a wonderful lunch for about $13 and change. Conclusion- Over 8 years, these fine folks have almost 700 reviews that average 4.5 stars from Yelp and that other site that some folks use and that's impressive. When I first reviewed them, this wasn't true, but they have matured, and I now agree! If they ever change their misguided Wi-Fi decision, I'd go 5 stars!

This review covers the buffet only, but you can read my previous reviews for everything else. Ambience- Fairly large space with standard booths and tables. Everything is clean. Customer Service- Drinks refilled as needed. Plates quickly cleared and the check processed quickly. What's not to like! ACE Taco Buffet- It's in a small separate room, just off the main dining room. There are two standard buffet tables. One for hot items and one for cold. You have hard shell, taco bowls for taco salad and soft tortillas. The soft come in foil wrapped packages of three kept warm by the buffet. Nice! Start at the hot table and begin to build. For meats, you have seasoned ground beef, chicken, pork and fajita chicken with peppers and onions. Add some rice and refried beans. Oh, by the way, there was also what looked like chicken tortilla soup available. Move over to the cold table for lettuce, tomato, onions, salsas, cheese, sour cream etc. You'll also find some chocolate cake to finish off your food coma! Everything was the correct temperature and most Importantly tasted fresh and delicious. Expect to pay around $12.99 + drink. It this crazy economy, of course it could change. Conclusion- As long as you're not expecting gourmet food, I suspect you're going to give this taco experience 5 stars!

While traveling to Miami, we stumbled across this little gem, and I'm so glad we did! We ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on Cuban bread, and let me tell you this thing is HUGE! It was easily big enough for two people to split and was loaded with bacon. The Cuban bread was absolutely perfect fresh, soft, and delicious. Of course, we had to pair it with a café con leche, and it did not disappoint! Then came the pastries because you can't visit a bakery and only order one thing! We tried the cheese pastry, guava pastry, and apple turnover, and every single one was delicious. They had the perfect amount of sweetness without being overloaded with sugar, so you could actually taste the amazing guava flavor. We even took home a whole platter of guava and cheese pastries for the family. Unfortunately for me, they were completely devoured before I could get a picture! They have plenty of seating if you want to sit and enjoy your food, or you can grab everything to go. The service was fast, the food was delicious, and it was SO much better than grabbing another fast-food meal on the road. Definitely add Havana Restaurant and Bakery to your road trip food stops!
