We hosted a baby shower at Chi-cuterie yesterday. I told Michelle upfront that we had some events happening in our life that would prevent me from doing much to prepare for the shower. Michelle said don't worry about a thing. Wow, she delivered! She provided flowers and tablescapes to go with my color scheme and party favors. Everything looked stunning! The staff was warm, welcoming and extremely kind and accommodating. Michelle and Robert go to every effort to make every guest feel special. The chicuterie was fresh, delicious and perfect. The venue is delightfully elegant. We were able to spill on to the adjacent garden to mingle. Highly, highly recommend having your private event at Chi-cuterie. Wow! I knew the moment I talked with Michelle, I was in good hands. I wanted an experience (bridal shower) which would provide an intimate celebration for my future DIL! I wanted my future DIL to feel loved and celebrated, and Michelle didn't disappoint. The warmth of the venue from the beautiful tablescapes, cozy decor, carefully chosen and paired foods, and the beautiful presentation of the delicious charcuterie, was classic and elegant. I recently hosted a bridal shower at Chi-cuterie. Michelle (the owner) and I only spoke a few times about my vision for the Amalfi Coast themed shower. I gave her the reins to execute my vision and she nailed it!! Honestly, it was so beautiful that I was brought to tears upon walking in. She did everything-the most beautiful decorations, so much attention to detail AND the food was outstanding. Also, I love the fact that everything is locally sourced (food and drinks). She is incredibly easy to work with and so accommodating to fulfill your vision. Michelle and her team have a talent for bringing it all together. We came here during Swedish days and it was a perfect treat. My daughter loves charcuterie and I absolutely loved the play on words. Even though this place would be perfect for wine with your girlfriends, they are super accommodating and welcoming to little girls as well. We had the Lewis and it was scrumptious. Everything tasted fresh and the meat was delicious. I love how this local business also supports local by sourcing all their meats and veggies locally. The star of the show, IMO, is the honey, pear, and ginger preserves. It tasted great on everything. If you ask my god daughter, it was the chocolate covered chips. Though I would've loved a dark chocolate option, it was still divine. In addition, you can tell this place is green in that they don't use plastic. I love that. The service was also spectacular. The owners came out and spoke to me and my little one. And valued our opinions on the chocolate covered chips or the toffee. You can tell they take pride in their business. The ambiance is also great. Love the layout of their interior and exterior. Very airy and open. Will definitely be coming here again. Next time with my girlfriends. read more

After being so impressed with a box from Chi-cuterie, I immediately decided I had to attend one of their classes, and I am SO glad that I did! Upon entering the gorgeous, historic home; I was greeted by the most amazing displays of all things to do with hosting; from charcuterie spread elements, to cocktail cart ideas and everything in between. Not only that, the most friendly and welcoming employees greeted me upon my arrival and ensured I had any questions answered within a very short time. I attended the workshop on board making and was provided with a handmade black walnut board, a number of cheeses, meats, fruits and sweet garnishments. The owner Michelle and one of her sweet employees gave us a crash course on all things to do with creating these beautiful spreads and I walked out of there with so much more knowledge about the entire art of board building than I could have imagined getting in 2 short hours! After the workshop ended, I couldn't help but shop around, and after asking for the Bloody Mary basket as a gift for my husband, Michelle and her team put their talent on show to create the most gorgeous, thoughtful, and perfect basket than I could have ever asked for! I walked out of there with my self-made charcuterie board, 2 new books on hosting, a beautiful basket, and a new favorite place in Geneva. They have found a customer for life. A few friends and I were looking to do a small private event after the holidays since we weren't able to get together in December. We decided to do a private cocktail making event at Chicuterie and it was AMAZING! Robert and Michelle (the owners) along with their mixologist Ryan worked with me to create a customized experience catered to what our group wanted to do. We decided we wanted to make drinks that require different mixing techniques along with one cocktail made with egg whites to get us out of our comfort zone. We made an old fashioned using Bhakta 1928 (soooo good), French 75, Traditional Whiskey Sour and Espresso Martini. What made the event so different from anything I've done previously was we got to do our event in the kitchen which allowed us to get messy without worry! Charcuterie boards were thoughtfully prepared and Robert and Michelle were there to help pair cheeses and meats with the cocktails we were preparing. Ryan, wow! A wealth of cocktail making knowledge along with history on the cocktails, techniques and ingredients. We learned sooo much and he was super fun!! We would make a cocktail, socialize for a bit, make another cocktail, socialize, etc. Such an amazingly fun night! We are already talking about doing a roaring 20s themed cocktail event this spring! The charcuterie board building workshop was amazing! Well worth the cost! We had a lovely 2 hours of conversation and instructions with the owner Michelle. Michelle explained step by step how to build the board, what products to utilize and had many tips and suggestions for other options for charcuterie boards. The cheese, fruit, crackers and meat were top quality products that are locally crafted! The cooler bag is adorable and the walnut board is gorgeous! I hosted a baby shower and it was so nice. The owners are so fantastic to work with. The room is cozy and so different having the chi cuterie. I wish I can remember the name of the server but she kept everything flowing and very attentive. Everyone commented how nice the shower was! I will definitely use them again.
