I was referred to Dr. Adam Colavito, DC's office, b/c my regular chiropractor was out of town, and in my experience, many other chiropractors lack the touch. Since meeting Dr. Colavito and his team (Dr. Veszelovsky, Tamy, Mike, Jessica, and Taylor), my regimen has consisted of regular adjustments w/ massages, and I'm able to run and attend my yoga sessions regularly again. The office has a family feel b/c the team makes every effort to learn your name and preferences to ensure that your experience is professional, friendly, and that you're in and out without delay. I called days later to reschedule and they did not answer. They have the craziest hours and good luck getting someone to answer. I called them the day of the appointment as well to try and get ahold of them and it said on their answering service that they were not even open on Thursday's. I figured they made a mistake or something so I called back and they told me that they would schedule me and they needed my credit card number to hold the appointment. When I gave them my credit card number, they said ohhh we already have you in the system and you missed your appointment so i t will be a $40 fee. I said to them are you crazy? You never told me this when I scheduled it!!! You can't say it after the fact. That's like a scam. They literally scammed me into giving them my credit card number and then charged me $40 and never TOLD ME they were going to do this! I am now disputing it with Bank of America. It's not about the $40 it's about the principle. I would NOT recommend using them. They don't schedule things unless it's weeks in advance and if you want to reschedule, just forget about it.

I check with my insurance company and they said no your copay is only XX amount. I told Stanger and they said they'll call me back. They called me back and verified that is correct. I only pay my copay. Surely, I go for my appointment and they have a physical therapist meet me. Very confused, I tell the physical therapist immediately before he even begins any evaluation that I am here for the chiropractor (an alignment) and a massage. He said that's a separate visit. I told him no, I am use to having all done on the same visit. He told me he'll go check and he'll be right back. He comes back and tells me that he'll see about getting me in with a massage that day and that we will start our evaluation. I end up getting examined by the physical therapist and then doing physical therapy for 40 minutes. Did I get a massage at the end? No. He said there were no masseuse available. So he ran a massage gun over my body. Very annoyed and not coming back, they then had the audacity to ask me for $100. I'd settled on one here or there along the way but one day my chiropractor just wasn't working out for me, I never feel totally fixed, the treatment is a little bit rough, and I feel like there are things that get done that don't help me but they just make the insurance bill bigger. I'm not into taking advantage of insurance either so I went looking again and I couldn't believe there was one right on my doorstep! I said "what's the worst thing that could happen? Just things don't go very well and I have to go back to where I was? " Ok deal. Why not try it at least once? OMG!!!!!! I got one of the most effective treatments I've had, in the shortest amount of time, with the least amount of pain from my Doctor Who genuinely cares!!! I never win anything but believe me this felt like the lottery!! I've gone to him a few times now and I would have to say I have no anxiety about going to him at all and I know that when I go in, m going to be treated with respect and caring, compassion and most of all - the exact things that I need to feel better! I would probably drive close to an hour for this treatment and I can say that totally truthfully, but that it is literally on my doorstep I'm over the moon!
