We learned Teatte options are very similar to espresso drinks except they are made with tea. The benefits of using tea is rather than having an espresso/caffeine high and then crashing, the tea has a more gradual build in our systems. The caffeine from the tea gradually climbs and then gradually decreases, so you avoid the shaky jitters followed by a coma-like crash. How wonderful is that?! AND when double pulling the taste is smoother and has a more refined taste. We both chose the Dual Phase Pull Teatte. I chose the Maple Sea Salt Teatte and Dani chose the Vanilla Teatte. I confirmed the Maple Sea Salt was dairy free and was delighted to hear it was. The kind woman behind the counter answered our questions and was warm and friendly. We can both confirm our drinks tasted like espresso. There is a slight taste difference, but not much, and it was good. My maple seat salt was a bit too sweet so next time I would skip it and either do vanilla or plain and simply add a raw sugar. Neither of us experienced the shaky jitters, but both felt the gentle boost from the caffeine. I would DEFINITELY choose Greenova next time I am in the area. We prefer using the kiosk because it gives us a chance to make sure our orders are accurate and browse through the different flavors and options we might want to try. After finishing our selections, I was ready to pay when the kiosk suddenly frozen on the payment screen. I tried getting the attention of one of the young ladies at the counter, but unfortunately, she didn't seem interested in helping. In fact, her response and demeanor made me feel like she was annoyed that I was asking for assistance. The young customer she was helping at the cash register actually tried to help me instead, but the kiosk was completely frozen at that point. Thankfully, another young lady at the counter, Wee, noticed what was happening. She approached me with a smile and immediately asked her coworker Caleb (I believe he was the manager) for help. Caleb was great. As soon as he finished what he was doing, he came around the counter and tried to fix the kiosk himself. He remained friendly and calm throughout the whole thing. He also asked Wee to take a picture of the orders displayed on the kiosk so she could ring them up at the register. Luckily, I had taken a screenshot of our order. By this point, more customers had started coming in and the store suddenly became much busier. Despite that, Wee and Caleb continued to be attentive and helpful. Once we received our to-go order, we left happy--not only because the croffles and bubble tea were great, but also because of the customer service and positive interactions we had with Wee and Caleb. They turned what could have been a frustrating experience into a pleasant one. I do want to mention that the other young lady at the cashier wearing the white shirt really stood out for the wrong reasons. Her attitude came across as unnecessarily rude and dismissive, especially when I was simply asking for help with a frozen kiosk. One less star rating for that. Overall, though, Wee and Caleb deserve recognition for their excellent customer service. Thank you both for stepping in, being patient, and making sure we were taken care of. We'll definitely be back whenever we're in the area and craving our The Alley fix!
