Large Poke bowl spicy tuna, salmon and Ahi tuna!!

Cleanliness / better food handling from owner to staff. Basic handwashing practices. Anytime you come back into the serving area. Everyone should know to wash your hands. Everyone should know not to fix your hair or run your fingers through your hair and adjust your cap. Regardless of you applying gloves or not, everyone knows you should wash your hands when you yourself are sitting at a table, eating your own snacks and then come around to serve customers Basic hygiene, skills, sanitary skills should tell you to wash your hands. And yet you get an attitude as the manager - owner and send one of your employees to serve me rather than yourself and she in turn follows your lead, by not washing her hands before serving. Ironically, your employee puts on latex gloves to handle trash, but yet doesn't wash their hands upon returning back to food service. Diabolical!!! This will probably be the last time I recommend or Visit your establishment and that may be fine for you. It's certainly more healthier for me. Some people in your clientele that you serve perhaps your newer patrons or ones with the same values may have lesser standards or don't observe what's going on around them. Some of us still have our best interest and health at heart! Best of luck to you with your next Frisco food inspection.

Free Miso soup and self serve sauces

High quality poke and they have self service sauces and free Miso soup! Restaurant and bathrooms are super clean. I'll be driving a lil bit further to make this my poke place from McKinney but it will be worth it.

    Scottish Salmon was very fresh

Great spot for poke! Friendly service, clean, fresh ingredients, delicious, and excellent prices. I will definitely be returning.

Where are the toppings?! No yellowtail, smelled old so they tried to drown it in dressing. Half full small not large.

Pure Puke! False Advertising. The poke bowl was to be large but it was small and half full. The mixed greens weren't washed so it tasted like dirt. The fish smelled and the yellowtail was missing and most of the toppings were missing. The miso soup spilled all over the bag. The weird blue slush was not as stated. The cup was delivered open, melted, weird white sludge in it and I had to toss due to safety concerns. The Mexican Coke was in a cup not a bottle as usual and has to toss due to poor packaging and not full. A waste of money and I don't understand how they have any positive reviews. So. Gross!!

Like most Poke places, I was let down again. Reading the reviews I was originally super excited but I ended up being let down. The tuna had a really pungent flavor like it had not been properly stored or like it wasn't fresh. The cracker pieces and rice tasted stale as well. And to top it off there was a hair on a piece of edamame which I didn't even order as a topping!!! The service and ambiance were fine, but the food was pricey and as you read not great.

    Regular BYOB. Salmon and tuna.

My son and I picked this place to eat at before the FC Dallas game. The restaurant offered fresh ingredients, big portions and flavorful sauce choices!

Today was my first time trying one of their poke bowls and I was very impressed. It was so delicious! Everything was super fresh, flavorful, and high quality. The rice to fish and topping ratio was on point as well. Also - you receive a miso soup on the side! If you're craving some poke I would 100% recommend trying this place out! #supportsmallbusinesses

Poke bowl loaded with toppings of my choice
    Steven L.

Okay I get it, Poke places are a dime a dozen these days, and they're all pretty similar in quality (nothing close to the fresh stuff you would get in Hawaii), and provide the same toppings to choose from. But I thought the service was very good for me and my friend. You order at the front and proceed down the line choosing whichever toppings you want. My friend wasn't all that certain what to do when he arrived so the server was very friendly and helped him through the process (what a newbie). Additionally, there's free miso soup in a stewing pot with your order, so that was a very nice plus on a cold winter afternoon. Other than that, the poke is just as good as any other poke place you might find. There's not a ton of space inside for dine-in, the space feels more like a small coffee shop meant for take-out, so plan accordingly. Overall, the miso soup, good value, and friendly service stood out to me!

Flavor was great but portions are tiny for the price. Also, my fish was frozen (I was there early so perhaps it hadn't thawed yet).

Average poke place... the sauces were a bit bland... I ordered the two piece protein and unfortunately was not filling at all.

What is the sauce the Salmon and tuna in the Frisco bowl is tossed with? Is it gluten free?

It’s our house ponzu which does contain soy sauce and is not gluten free. If you request gluten free we can prepare with Tamari GF ponzu. Thank you.

We had reservations but there was no major crowd at 5:30. The place is contemporary, white tiles, brass finishes. Fully stocked bar. Nice big windows. Started with a Rail District cocktail that was really good. Finished with a Last Word which had a strong licorice flavor (not my fav) but the cherry at the bottom was great! We split the SPREADABLE WHIPPED LEMON BASIL GOAT CHEESE. Loved this. But note to the Chef or food prep - the toast crackers had so many holes in the bread, there was NO surface for the spreadable. Pieces of toast were basically outer crust and the inner area of bread had 90% giant holes. It was comical. Whoever plated this should have been more selective. My wife had the Salmon and I had the steak. The steak had a large pad of delicious blue cheese and butter on top of it, that slowly melted over the steak and potatoes. That was special. Endive salad was pretty dry, very little dressing. So I mixed it in with the potatoes and cheese/butter.

We started with the buffalo deviled eggs, which were honestly a standout--creamy with just the right amount of kick and a fun twist on a classic. I also ordered a salad that had candied pecans, apples, and grapes, topped with chicken that was cooked absolutely perfectly--so tender and flavorful. It's one of those dishes that feels light but still really satisfying. The ambience is what really makes this place special. It's super cute and thoughtfully designed--fun wallpaper, cozy green sofas, and really stylish light fixtures that give it a warm, inviting vibe. You can tell a lot of intention went into the space. We had the chance to meet the owner, Amy, who was incredibly friendly and welcoming--it's always a good sign when the owner is that engaged. Our server was also fantastic--very attentive, kind, and made sure we were well taken care of the whole time. Location-wise, it's just off Main Street, kind of tucked away to the side, which makes it feel like a hidden gem. There's a great view, plus both indoor and outdoor seating, and the water tower right there adds a really charming touch. Since it's newly opened, I'm really hoping they do well--this place deserves it. I also heard they'll be expanding into the suite next door, which is exciting. I took a peek at their dinner and brunch menus, and I'll definitely be back to check those out soon. Such a cute spot with great food, great people, and a great vibe.
