The Restaurant's always clean and well-kept whenever I've been here and the staff has been fine so that's all you can ask from a casual place like this. They have a good amount of seating inside. Their food, the burgers are on point. From the hot chicken big bird to the Chi Tea classic, both varieties do justice to their roots. I've also tried the loaded fries and those were fine. The Chi Tea Classic is really the standout. If I have one complaint, it's that I wish the full-size burgers were a bit bigger. About a burger and a half works well for me, or I guess a burger and a slider. So this was a major disappointment of boba. I'm not even sure I'd call it boba ? I don't even know how this place is so highly rated. Walking in this place I got bad vibes right away. It was quiet. Wasn't greeted. Just kind of dead. I wanted to give it a shot anyway so I go up to order and weren't really asked if we've been before or how ordering works just kind of had to figure it out. My friend got a mango boba which was okay. When we wanted it over ice she recommended it be blended so we obliged. Then my other friend asked for a suggestion and she said the same thing. Blended. I ordered a Thai tea and wanted it over ice. She again said I should get it blended. I use Thai tea as a standard of measurement for new boba places I haven't tried and I've never had a blended Thai tea but whatever. It was just all around bad. It had a floral taste to it. The mango drink was fine , but then again it's hard to mess up a plain mango drink. The Mac n Cheese was standard, no frills and a bit too liquidy to rate highly (I rate it a 3 out of 5). The Angry Birds were tasty but also standard - they did not stand out either (I rate it a 3 out of 5). The Fries were on the salty side (I rate it a 2 out of 5 because of the salt). Overall, I would eat there again if I were in the area and needed a quick meal. However, I would not recommend it to a friend. Additionally, the dine-in meal was served in boxes which resulted in a bunch of boxes on the table which took away from the dining experience. I got their big bird sandwich spicy level which includes coleslaw, pickles, and their signature sauce on a brioche bun. I also added honey glaze for an extra add on. All of their meat here is halal. They also serve smash burgers, sliders, and boba. They told me the sandwich would take about 10 minutes to cook but they prepared my order before that. I thought that overall the sandwich tasted good, but it wasn't as spicy as I was expecting for a spicy level. I would say it is around a medium spice or even less from Ricky's spice. I couldn't really tell the difference in taste from the honey glaze, but it made my sandwich look really good though! Compared to the ads I've seen online, I think I got less coleslaw than usual as well. But from a value perspective. For this to be a new place, I would have expected there to have been an inviting and welcoming demeanor. However, he did not greet us nor look at us. One of his employees took our order, but even she appeared to be reluctant to say "Hi" and took our order with zero enthusiasm. She may have been tired, since it was two hours before closing. However, in the restaurant business, you would expect at least a friendly exchange. We placed our order and waited inside. We decided to add an order of Mac and cheese and that came out right away. It was warm but not hot and we knew that once our main order came out that it would be cold. The food was terrible. The Mac and cheese pasta was mushy. The smashburger had old and potentially bagged lettuce on it. It tasted like a Big Mac. The tenders were extra greasy with zero seasoning and the fries had no seasoning either. I was really excited to try this place but upon walking in I was severely disappointed the place was nice and new but very very congested. No music or anything to cut the awkwardness. The food was tasty but everything js a la carte. No fountain drinks only bottles and they are way too over priced. All food is served in boxes no matter if it's dine in or not big turn off. I would recommend planning on getting it to go because there isn't enough space for everyone. Nothing different I would recommend other places in the area they do chicken way better.
