Pappa Roti's been around for a while now and they've done a great job of maintaining their quality. I'm happy that they've extended their weekday hours to 11pm as that makes a weekday post din-din run so doable. It is still a small place s when it's busy its ready to burst. The staff has always been great here. If you dont want the decadent variety of buns, the simple plain one yummy in its own right, though the former are great for splitting. Great dessert, topped off with solid a coffee menu or Pakistani chai. Can't go wrong. here.

Traditional Indian Chai with cardamom was really tasty, but I'm not sure if they have regular chai for those who are not fans of cardamom. Sadly all of the buns were out today due to a shipment delay, which was very disappointing as we did not get a chance to try them at all. Staff were very kind and apologetic, they explained the situation to us. We sat in the comfy leather couch near the door. I really wanted to try the original bun and ferrero rocher bun.

Craving an aromatic, spicy chai and some freshly baked pastry? Here is the place. As you may notice if you've been reading my reviews, I wouldn't miss any coffee places where you can find Middle Eastern, Yemeni, Indian chai, tea, or coffee. It was my first visit here. I got their karak chai and their signature coffee buns. The chai was smooth with a subtle taste of various spices like cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, and probably other herbs. The sugar level was just right for me. The bun was the best. The coffee crust on top was sweet and toasty. It reminds me of the crust on a Hong Kong pineapple bun, but this crust is thinner and more delicate. The inside was soft and moist. You could get additional toppings/dressings over the crust or, if you like, stuff it with your favorite ice-cream! I'll save this for my next visit. The lady that took my order was very friendly and introduced me to the different flavors of their buns. The place is not too big. I believe it may get crowded during coffee rush hours. It was a quick, but enjoyable visit. I'll come back by to try perhaps there Turkish coffee and an ice-scream filled bun!

Ordered the Mona Lisa, Karak Chai and the Signature Bun. The Mona Lisa comes with sliced banana, strawberries, whipped cream, vanilla ice cream and chocolate & caramel sauce. It was my favorite! Really enjoyed the Karak Chai. It has aromatic spices and herbs combined with condensed milk, cardamom and saffron. Their signature bun is great! It has a nice crispy exterior and it's very soft and buttery on the inside. The chai paired real well with the signature bun! Also, the buns aren't overly sweet and very light. It was busy when I went, but customer service was great and even though I had to wait a while, it was well worth the wait!

    Grabbing lunch and tea!

I came in the late afternoon hoping to get a hot beverage and get some work done on my laptop. I was looking for a chai latte which they have, and it comes in a cute teacup. Since I had not eaten lunch yet, I got a coffee bun with fresh strawberries. What I got was very different than the picture on the menu. It was coffee bun with syrup and one strawberry on the side. It was very sweet and was $10+. I grew up eating coffee bun from the local asian bakery and so I am used to ~$3 for a coffee bun. I think this would be a great place to splurge on a dessert and tea with a friend to hangout.

Let me just say that nothing good can possibly come from residing within a 10-mile radius of this establishment. It is dangerous-ly addictive and has most certainly earned a spot in the rotation of my top 10 places in and around the Frisco Area. Went here with my childhood BFF on a weeknight two hours prior to closing time and can honestly say that I'm hooked. She had been to this location twice previously and had frequented the original in Chicago and raved about it. She was right. Love the enticing aroma and the chill/laidback vibe - it brings about a vibrant burst of energy to the space and the Buns and Chai are to die for. They really struck the right balance of flavor - not too sweet and not too bland. Most noteworthy were the undertones of cardamom and cinnamon of the Chai. The mouthfeel and ratio of the soft interior to the crispy exterior of the Cheese&Honey Bun were too good to pass up. I had driven by this place several times in the past few months, but never stopped by until a few weeks ago. Shohaib greeted us with a smile and I told him it was my first visit. He walked me through the Menu and highlighted common items that are ordered by regular customers. He is a nice young man with a professional work ethic. We will be returning.

The Turkish coffee and standard bun.

Such a wonderful owner! He educated us on the Turkish coffee and how the buns are made. If you like coffee, try the Turkish. Very good! And the buns..... if you want a treat do not miss them! We had the standard and it was amazing. I can't imagine the flavored ones. For a native Texan, this was an international experience in my backyard.

We had the chocolate on chocolate bun & the Oreo bun...both delicious! Because the location in Allen, Texas across from the outlet mall at Fairview Town Center is newly opened they had a promotional free tea...we tried the Karak Chai with notes of cardamom & saffron and it was divine! Such a lovely little spot with delicious & unique flavors! A MUST try.

I'm so excited that Paparoti has finally opened in Texas! This was my favorite treat growing up. The buns are soft, chewy, and freshly baked--perfect with a warm cup of chai. Definitely a must-try!

The buns are really good, and worth the premium price as they are made fresh in house, and of quality ingredients. I haven't tried all the different versions, but have had a bun with my chai. It's a great snack, and a nice place to meet for a chai date with a friend or two. It does get crowded over the weekends and in the evening, but they do take orders over the phone for take away. The chai has been good, but not great. I've had both the karak chai and Horlicks chai a couple of times, and the biggest issue is inconsistency. The first karak chai was really good, but the second was a bit heavy on the illaichi (cardamom). The Horlicks chai was ok the first time, too sweet and tasted more like Horlicks milk, but the second time was better. Nice addition to the area, and we'll happily return again.

Early Tweet Ashta, Biscoff Bun, Oreo Bun

Can't wait to go to this place again. Only reason it is a 4 star rather than a 5 star is because one of their items had nuts (the Biscoff item) which was not listed on the menu or shown in the picture. I have a nut allergy and was unable to try it - I would have removed the nuts if known. The woman at the cash register was great helping us order and while we wanted to pack it to go, she recommended eating it at the location so we could experience the items better and I 100% agree that was the right call. The Ashta bun is a MUST TRY and paired with the Karak Chai makes it a 10/10 experience. While the other flavors are great, the simple sweetness of this dessert is the best part, so I highly recommend going with a more simple item and pairing it with their one of the many tea options they have. As a dessert spot the location is great and I highly recommend checking this spot out.

Exactly like what I had in Malaysia! I was so excited when I heard this place opened up I rushed over the second day of its soft opening. There's no lines right now as of Friday evening, but I wouldn't be surprised if it gets busy soon. The service is quick and friendly. The original bun (a bit pricy at ~$4) comes warm almost as if straight out of the oven. It's so soft and fluffy with the perfect crunchy exterior. There's also a pat of butter inside. I paired it with a small milk tea on recommendation from the cashier. It is nice to dip the bread in and would also be great as an iced drink. As a warning the tea is incredibly sweet. It's part of the smaller plaza next to 99 Ranch so there's plenty of parking. Definitely visit!

    Ferrero Rocher

We got three of their buns between the five of us. Their strawberry mango, ferroro rocher and Biscoff bun. These buns are quite filling and their portion sizes were huge! My favorite had to be the strawberry mango because of the refreshing mango ice cream in it that cut through the heaviness of the soft outer layer of the bun. The ferroro rocher was good paired with the vanilla ice cream on the side but too dense and chocolatey on its own. Finally I'd put the Biscoff bun at last despite being a Biscoff lover- it just didn't hit as much. Their ambiance is pretty subpar but definitely a great dessert place if you want to try something different!

They use a dual-phase pull/extraction process on the tea leaves, and the caffeine feels smoother and more sustained without the normal coffee crash. The flavors are really good too. Not overly sweet, and the ingredients seem high quality. I also noticed they use ceremonial grade matcha, which I appreciated. Honestly surprised this place isn't more hyped up. They focus on tea only, using real tea leaves and a method that's truly one of a kind. What they're known for is their signature Dual Phase Pull method--a proprietary two-step tea process that delivers intense flavor and extra caffeine. They use an espresso machine to extract a concentrated shot of dark tea under high pressure, pulling out deep flavor, richness, and caffeine into a full-bodied base. Then, a second layer of micronized tea (finer than powder) is hand-whisked until frothy, adding even more depth, aroma, and intensity. The result? A drink that's rich, smooth, and surprisingly not heavy--like the boldness of espresso with the sweetness and umami of matcha. And yes... it has more caffeine than your average cup of coffee.
