Stopped here after dance class and finish off with a dessert for my birthday. Definitely want to support Asian owned businesses and this place didn't disappoint with the toast I got. Ordered the chibi toast, their signature dessert toast, topped with maple syrup, Nutella, seasonal fruit and ice cream scoop. The toast had a nice balance of sweetness and saltiness, which is a perfect combo of flavors. The fruit added freshness and a little healthiness and the ice cream added that creaminess making this toast so yummy to eat. Ambiance: it's a small space with limited seating but stopped here in the night time. Parking in the plaza. Service depends on what and how many you order. The toast took like 25 minutes to prepare which was said in the menu and signs in the store. I would go back to try and different items!

Food was good. Easy parking. Good service. Small place with about 6 tables. My favorite was their tonkotsu.

Yuppp! This place hits the spot EVERY SINGLE TIME. Found it by accident because the water in my apartment building was shut off and I needed a bathroom plus lunch. It has become a place hay I seek for a quick, filling, warm , intimate, and cost-effective comfort meal. I always have to order the musubi too. Everything tastes delicious. And it makes me feel great supporting a small business that not many se to know about. Please pay them a visit.

We came up to LA for the weekend and tried out a new place, and it was 100000% the best decision we made for dinner! The portions are a good size! Pricing is fair, service was great and the restaurant was clean. If you're looking for a hole in the wall with some delicious Ramen, make sure to stop by and check this place out

Chibiscus is a neighborhood staple! This is a small hidden gem in West Hollywood off of Sunset. It's a small cozy spot but the food is PACKED with flavor! There's so many options on the menu but everything ive tried has been 10/10 I have my favorites like... * Spicy Pork bun (my favvvvvv) * Chashu Rice * Corn Brûlée * Beef Sukiyaki (my fav) * Tonkatsu * The drinks! I mean I can go on and on! I see a couple of comments about the server or service...Honestly Pham is the man he takes a while to open up but he's sweet as pie!! Oh did I mention it's so affordable and good sized portions. I really suggest having them a try I'm all about supporting local businesses!! Thanks Pham !!!

Was waiting for my dog that was next door getting groomed and decided to try this place out. The man that attended me was very nice. Food was brought out right away. Large portion size and very tasty. I had the VEGAN.

I finally made it to Chibiscus and had an excellent meal. It is a small shop with a few tables and has some cute decor. And it has parking!!!  There is street parking as well if the lot is full. It is not a huge book of a menu. But the choices are well done, and everyone should be able to find something they want here. I started with the veggie potstickers and a spicy tuna hand roll. And then had the chicken curry dish as my entrée. Do not order too much at first, save some room for dessert. Oh my gosh! The desserts look amazing, and folks drive from all over for the brick toasts here. My food arrived after just a bit. The potstickers were good. Good flavor and not overcooked, along with a nice dipping sauce. The spicy tuna handroll was huge! What a deal! Maybe 6-7 bites to eat it all. The curry came out and was a good amount of food, just like everything else that had already been served. A large scoop of rice, some pickled ginger and a big bowl of Curried chicken came out. It was really hot, and I needed to let it cool a bit before digging in. It had a nice flavor, like a brown sauce with curry added maybe(?). Potatoes, carrots, and plenty of chicken, it was a good amount of food. I probably should have taken some food home but ended up just eating everything there. Next time, dessert!

Was craving sukiyaki - Yelp brought me here. It's a casual mom & pop shop, 6 tables, big TV playing kpop vids, no frills, just freshly cooked rice bowls and best $5 spicy tuna hand rolls in Hollywood! Husband enjoyed his pork chashu bowl: perfect size and for $9 can't go wrong! Satisfied my sukiyaki craving for $13: so tasty, so filling and came out piping hot. Also enjoyed their Thai tea with boba. Thanks for a lovely lunch, we will for sure be back to try spicy tonkotsu ramen, Oreo brick toast and musubi!

Chibiscus is one of my favorite ramen joints in all of LA because the quality and price can't be beat. Their Tonkotsu is so full of flavor! When ordering takeout, the broth comes separate from the bowl ingredients so you can pour over when you're ready. Even to-go it's some of the best flavor you can find with ramen. Ingredients taste fresh and filling always. Service is pretty on the ball considering ramen can take a bit to prepare. You could sub proteins and ingredients to tailor to your dietary needs which was nice! The inside is relatively small and it's in an unexpected random strip mall, but don't sleep on this one!

Great food and great service! What else can you ask for? My friend and I decided to try this hole in the wall restaurant and we have no regrets. The place is quite small, but a great place to eat for a party of two. There was no one else in the restaurant so we were served pretty fast. You order at the desk and pick a seat within the space. The menu wasn't too overwhelming so it was easy to pick and chose from the variety of items they did have. The serving itself is quite large! I usually have room to eat more at your typical ramen restaurant, but I had to rest a bit before me friend and I headed out. I would highly recommend the premium spicy tonkatsu! It wasn't too spicy, but it did have a kick. The spam masubi was also great! It was delicious, crispy, and bite size! Overall would recommend this hidden gem is WeHo!

Cute little ramen spot in Hollywood. Easy parking available in small plaza. We came on a rainy Saturday night, the tonkatsu ramen was flavorful and the pork had very smokey flavor. Overall great amount of noodles and chashu pork, very filling. My husband treated us to a sweet toast from here too. I love how hot it comes out and the fluffy inside compliments with the ice cream and Oreo very nicely. Service was fast and friendly.

This place is right down the street from me and finally after promising myself I'd try I did! It was great fantastic food, clean and lots of choice I'll definitely be back! Parking is a little tricky and the server don't look to happy and that's the reason for 4 stars vs 5

Since the pieces were large, it was slightly awkward to eat without any plates, and I was just catching the crumbs with my hand (didn't have the ramens at the time). Also got a yuzu beer to try and it was delicious, nice yuzu flavor with some tanginess. I had the shoyu with duck while my husband had the yama tonkotsu that came with fragrant black garlic oil. The tonkotsu is not one of those rich, milky, creamy ones and I personally like these lighter ones more. I also enjoyed the shoyu which had a pleasant depth of flavor, but it felt like it was relying too heavily on MSG for umami. Noodles came out chewy. Definitely not the best ramens I've had but are some of the better ones in LA. Our server was friendly, as were the rest of the staff. Service was quick. The restaurant decor feels straight out of Japan, an extra bit of fun. There's a $10 paid lot behind this block of buildings that's convenient for anything in this part of Little Tokyo.

Dashi was VERY good. Generous amount of grated daikon. Assort. Tempura: Saw this being served while waiting. Looked really good and it WAS! Large shiitake mushroom. Fan cut Japanese eggplant, kabocha pumpkin, shrimp tempura & two (2) shiso leaves. All VERY crisp not oily. Warm dashi side had deep umami rich flavor. Probably made the legit kombu & bonita flake method. #1 ordered the Miso carbonara: garlicky carbonara served with their signature house-rolled out udon. Wonderful dish. Next up was the omelette with gravy with fried rice that had both shrimp and pork. I feel the egg of the omelette was well made. It had that texture and consistency you would really want from an omelette of that nature. The pork and shrimp fried rice tasted a little light in the seasoning and flavor, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. The gravy was also lighter than a heavy gravy as well. When the food came out, I thought the meal would be deeply heavy due to the quantity and the gravy, but it still felt a bit light and manageable, which was kind of outside of my expectations, so that was pretty interesting.
