Pancit and some meat thing that's a 5/5
    Carrie U.

I came to the wrong restaurant looking for sisig. I meant to go to the belly boink but I came in here instead. This is the typical Filipino steam table food but also they have cook to order items that take about 15 minutes. Me and my mom did the typical point and make a box and I don't know what she ordered but the meat was a 5/5 for tenderness and flavor. It had a citrus and BBQ taste going on. I asked her what it's called and she said "if you see it again just point, idk what this is" I also tried one piece of turon. It was the freshest sweetest and crispiest I've ever had in the US. There are quite a few tables inside but it got busy and full fast. It's very casual inside. The parking lot looks like it can be a pain and indeed was pretty full when I left.

    Tapsilog and lechon kawali

Tapas was ok but the real star was the lechon kawali. They made it fresh for me so it was so juicy and crispy! Staff was also friendly and welcoming.

First time we ordered from here for our holiday party. We got a full lechon and it was amazing. It could feed around 50 people. It was a big hit at our party. The brown sauce was amazing! The pork was super tender! Will def get again for another company party!

Apparently they rather serve big parties over individuals. I'll take my money else where.

The service is amazing - all of them are friendly - and the food is always ALWAYS ready at pick up time, sometimes a few minutes earlier. They really time everything perfectly. I also appreciate the way they pack it all up to avoid all kinds of spillage. And I assure you, the food was literally just cooked when you pick it up: all the trays are HOT! But don't fret - they have a cart you can use to transport your goodies to the car. My top three go-to's for catering? Pansit bihon, lumpia and bisteck. Those always run out everytime! The restaurant is tucked into a corner of a busy parking lot, but I was able to find a spot easily. The outside has a charming look that reminded me of a little island hut , with beautiful trees and green trim that give it a welcoming feel. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted by the aroma of food cooking in the kitchen. The staff welcomed me as I approached the cafeteria-style food counter. The menu hangs above, making it easy to look through the options. I asked about their veggie egg rolls, which were displayed in a separate case along with lumpia and other tempting treats. While learning about their veggie egg rolls and other dishes, I decided to order the egg rolls and was also drawn to the cantaloupe drink. On a warm day, the thin slices of cantaloupe floating in the drink looked so refreshing. The prices were very reasonable, and the egg roll itself was a great size. It also came with a dipping sauce that paired perfectly. I sat down to enjoy my lunch, and it did not disappoint. The vinegar-based sauce complemented the egg roll nicely, and the sweet cantaloupe drink balanced everything out for a great sweet-and-savory combo. Before leaving, I even bought another egg roll to take home. The staff were friendly, and I really enjoyed my lunch. I'll definitely be back to try some of the other dishes on the menu.

Great staff! My friend and I stopped into this great shop in Lomita and had a fabulous meal. I love the way they do their poke - you get to pick TWO flavors of meat! How fun! It was all fresh, good selection of ingredients and the taste in the Crunchy Tuna Garlic was superb! We also loved the Spicy Salmon Mayo. I'm a huge tocino fan so when I saw it on their menu I had to get it! I was surprised it came with two fried eggs and was a nice, big portion. We also had to try their Crispy Masubi and this was fantastic. I've had many deep fried masubi versions and this was much nicer than those. This was the best breaded type of masubi I've had. Absolutely loved it and would get it again in a second. Overall, fabulous meal at Poke & More that I would go back for.

Parking can be challenging depending on when you go as they share a plaza. I sort of stopped going here a few months ago after they discontinued their Saturday special of buy one pound of poke, get one pound free. That deal definitely made it more worthwhile. Without that promo, the other local poke places outshine this place.

We went here to try their filipino food on a saturday afternoon for lunch…read more The food prices were on the sit down area were on the higher end $20-30+ for normal, traditional mains that did not include rice, drinks, or sides (that is on the higher end for non gourmet filipino food). However, they also had a buffet style "scoop and go service" on the corner that has the same food on the menu but in combination plates and much more affordable pricing ($12+) that also included rice. We did not understand the discrepancy in pricing since it's the same food and pretty much the same sizing (maybe slightly smaller mains) though they may cook the food fresh/heat it up on the sit down area. My group ordered a variety of food including lechon kawali, garlic rice, vegetables, soup, pancit, etc. and they were very tasty and hit home! well seasoned. The place was not very busy so it was quick. We decided to sit in the restaurant with our ordered food since we were the only ones there. I ordered a main that was running low and the employee told me that they had to cook it and I had to wait which was fine with me. The man ended up not giving me much of the new cooked pieces but mostly of the leftovers and added a couple of pieces of the fresh ones, which was fine but with the wait made it disappointing since I could have just gotten some of the old pieces from the beginning and started eating it. Decent place - I would recommend their "scoop and go" service area for fast service and more reasonable pricing. *I heard they have karaoke in the late afternoon, which may change the vibe and atmosphere of this place so we may need to check that out! 3.2/5
