Inconsistent food has changed my review of this place. My food reviews mean everything. Consistency, especially on lechon, is everything!!!! Service is still good, but not exceptional. The business needs to be cleaner. I wished I could give this business a better review. What has saved this business of a worse review from me is their dinaguan.

I opted for a two-item combo with rice, tocino and laing. My order was slightly below $16 and they also take card. The laing was not spicy but truly savory, not dry and flavorful. (Beware: you'll always need to pair laing with the provided steamed rice). The tocino was pretty tender and sweet. The chicken tinola was truly comforting and tasty. I'll be back again at Manila's Lechon whenever I'm in the Carson area.

They have a large menu of delicious Filipino food, but for me I just want their chicken skin with suka and rice. Unlike pork skin, the chicken chicharon is thin and crispy. It's perfect for snacking or scooping up rice.

However, they also had a buffet style "scoop and go service" on the corner that has the same food on the menu but in combination plates and much more affordable pricing ($12+) that also included rice. We did not understand the discrepancy in pricing since it's the same food and pretty much the same sizing (maybe slightly smaller mains) though they may cook the food fresh/heat it up on the sit down area. My group ordered a variety of food including lechon kawali, garlic rice, vegetables, soup, pancit, etc. and they were very tasty and hit home! well seasoned. The place was not very busy so it was quick. We decided to sit in the restaurant with our ordered food since we were the only ones there. I ordered a main that was running low and the employee told me that they had to cook it and I had to wait which was fine with me. The man ended up not giving me much of the new cooked pieces but mostly of the leftovers and added a couple of pieces of the fresh ones, which was fine but with the wait made it disappointing since I could have just gotten some of the old pieces from the beginning and started eating it. Decent place - I would recommend their "scoop and go" service area for fast service and more reasonable pricing. *I heard they have karaoke in the late afternoon, which may change the vibe and atmosphere of this place so we may need to check that out! 3.2/5
