First time trying this place. It was pretty good. Salmon poke is legit and the pork belly was good as well. The sisig was ok only but to each is own. Service was great and the ambiance was very homey. I would come back and try the other things on their menu.

This place is decent. It's Hawaiian/Filipino food. I had the Filipino food years ago at their Long Beach location and remember it ras good... Recently I got a poke bowl with two kinds of poke. I guess the poke bowls don't include toppings and you have to pay extra. I'm used to the "subway" style poke places where you can choose several toppings as part of the bowl so that was a bit disappointing for me. The portions seem small too. It's good but I prefer a different poke spot up the street. I guess what makes it different is that they have different poke flavors which makes things interesting. Anyway, the customer service is good. They only limit your samples to like 2-3 which i understand as I'm sure some people take advantage of that and end up not ordering anything. I'd probably come back when I'm in the poke mood.

Poke and More delivers a great Hawaiian and Filipino fusion experience, with an ample selection of hot dishes, poke, and more. They have a wide selection of salmon and tuna poke to choose (and sample!) from, and their bowls pack a good value. I went with the spicy mayo tuna and mango salmon, both of which were smooth, tasty, and perfectly paired with the furikake rice. Their spicy garlic salmon was also really good, it packed a nice burst of heat. I'd definitely be back!

Solid place for lunch. It was spacious and clean inside, and the service was very friendly. The portions are good and reasonably priced.

Poke & More is a hidden gem. Located in a non-descript shopping plaza, this mom and pop establishment is really fantastic. They have mostly Hawaiian dishes, Filipino dishes, and some Japanese food. I posted a pic of the big poke selection they have in the glass case in the front. I think it's made fresh daily and you get to sample it before you buy it. So I really enjoyed that to start my experience! I ordered a Poke Burrito and a Spam Musubi. The Poke Burrito was big and filling. I'm wondering how big the jumbo would be because the regular size is pretty sizable. The spam musubi was just mid. The lady at the front was really friendly. Decent amount of table seating. Prices were reasonable. Parking shouldn't be a problem here. I wish more people knew about this place! It's SO good!

Might be my second favorite poke spot in the south bay. Great lunch special on Tuesday for the poke, so catch me there. Love the flavors they have here and the fish taste fresh. I also got to try the fried spam musubi and thought it was just alright. Spam musubi, in my opinion, taste better as is. The crispy texture was cool, but felt greasy and heavy. Little small lot, shared with other stores on their strip. Service was friendly too!

Two things I love - a mom and pop shop, and REAL authentic poke like you find in Hawaii. To find these two things combined? Priceless! I absolutely love Hawaiian style poke (I'm not a fan of the mainland version of poke bowls with way too many things added in the "bowl"). But authentic Hawaiian style poke is one of the few foods I could eat every day for the rest of my life. And there is nothing that I love more than poke from Foodland from the islands. so when I saw someone compare Poke & More's poke to Foodland's, I knew I had to try it! Let me tell you - this is the closest thing I have had to Foodland's poke anywhere outside of the islands. The Awapuhi style could literally come right out of Foodland. The awapuhi is a 9.5/10 for me. If there was just a little less sauce, it would be a 10/10. I also tried the spicy garlic because I saw a lot of people recommend it. It's also great, you can taste the ginger, and the chili heat builds in your mouth. This would go great with kimchi. I would probably put it at an 8.5/10. The Mac salad could use some more flavor, it was a little bland. But it still had a great consistency, and I ate it all because it was still comforting ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I will say I think the tuna is the way to go with the poke here - for me it's more traditional, but also, I think the tuna itself tastes better than the salmon in these sauces. The woman at Poke and More was so kind and let me try 3 different types before I made up my mind. The woman working up front truly made me feel at home and told me about the Long Beach location. But honestly I would keep coming back to this location because she was so sweet! It's a small location with limited seating, but there is plenty of parking out front, which is always a plus. I can't wait to come back and try other items on their menu!

Pokey and More location on 1928 Pacific Coast Highway in Lomita is an excellent place to get your pokey fix and Hawaiian and Filipino food fix this place also offers Lechon, which is not offered at the Lakewood location. Service is quick and easy you can place an order for party trays. Today we bought two types of poke and also ordered a party tray for our event that's happening on Saturday. Orders can be placed in advance. The place is clean. Staff is friendly. I'll be coming here again. There are over 20 or more selections of poke.

Yelp reviews do not lie! We had to try this Filipino Hawaiian fusion restaurant after seeing the almost 5 star reviews On Yelp and so glad we did. Poke & More offers a lot of rice plate dishes along with case full of various flavored tuna and salmon Hawaiian style poke by the pound. On Saturdays they offer a buy 1 lb. Get 1 lb. Free of all their poke. We ordered the pork sisig, loco moco and soy seasoned beef rib plate. All came out piping hot and were perfectly seasoned. All the rice plates were flavor explosions in your mouth, everything was so tasty. The portion sizes were huge for the price. We also took advantage of their buy one get one poke deal and got 1/2 lb. Of the tuna crunchy garlic, 1/2 lb. Tuna California poke, and 1 lb. Of the salmon shoyu poke to go. All their dishes hit the spot! We will definitely be back when we are in the area. So so good!

Their food is good but I don't know that they fry everything in one fryer so if you don't have any kind of health issues you are okey but I don't eat any pork meat and they fry everything in the same frying oil/fryer. Service is good, always have parking in the front.

Great food and great vibes. The poke here has so much flavor my wife couldn't get enough. I got the beef loco moco and that was packed with flavor I can't wait to go back and try the spicy ribs they have. The lady at the front was amazing also took the time to answer all our questions and recommend some good food

My ultimate favorite lunch spot that is close to my job! I love coming here on days I don't feel like packing a lunch, but especially on Wednesdays for their poke bowl special that comes with free crab meet and a drink. The customer service is always very friendly, no matter how many times I come it is always the same welcoming atmosphere. I love their California poke tuna and their kimchi!

Love this place. It's ran by the sweetest lady. The food is always amazing. The ambiance to me, feels like I'm sitting at home and just munching. My favorite flavor of poke is the salmon creamy Japanese & also the wasabi! But honestly, every time I go I'll sample a few and let me say, every single flavor is amazing! Definitely will be coming back, time & time again.

Torrance Food Crawl #442…read more Ali'i Hawaiian Grill offers a minimalist approach with a simple menu that has a limited selection. For the Poke bowls, select your bowl size, pick two from the four or so fish choices, a base (rice or salad), and for most bowls a side or two. After several visits, my experience has been fine each time. Good quality fish and fresh sides. There are also some plate options where you can select Huli Chicken or Kalua Pork. I've tried both the chicken and pork (though not on the plate option), and both were excellent. This location used to be strictly take-out, but now there are two tables inside if you'd like to sit inside. I feel compelled to mention that when I recently visited this location, they had a health grade of B from LA County displayed in the window. Yelp shows that they had 14 health code violations on September 18. Usually, I don't show too much concern for these health scores, but when a restaurant's primary product is raw fish, a lower score gets my attention.

I was a fan of their El Segundo location but I believe it is gone. This place had about 5 or 6 different fresh poke styles available during our visit. We tried the Hawaiian, the Creamy Garlic Crunch, and the Sweet and Spicy. We also ordered the Chips and Smoked Ahi Dip, and the Huli Chicken Bowl. I think I loved everything. The Creamy Garlic Crunch poke was especially amazing. It had a slight spicy kick to it and it was rich and delicious. The chips that came with the dip were obviously freshly-made wontons and I could have eaten a hundred of them. The dip was good but not as flavorful as I had hoped or had in the past. For the chicken bowl, the rice and cucumbers that came with the chicken were excellent. You get a ton of mac salad and it is excellent. The chicken was solid, too. Unless they are hiding in plain sight, the places that just sell fresh poke, without the bowl, are few and far between in Southern California. I love poke bowls, too, but sometimes the poke by itself (with the different sauces and seasoning) is just incredible. This spot serves delicious fresh poke and I will always be a fan.

I was bummed but dang.... It was DELICIOUS. It's super juicy and flavorful. We also got Brussel sprouts, fried string beans and clam chowder. The Brussels are similar to expensive restaurant quality with a little balsamic vinaigrette and parm, but a really reasonable price. Crispy leaves, a little sweet a little oily but mmmm they were amazing. The clam chowder is perfectly creamy but not too thick. Needs a little salt but otherwise it's up there as one of my favorites. The string beans were just fine but I'd skip them. There had like a fried zucchini batter, well coated and crispy but eh not for me. My partner got the fried shrimp and fish and chips and they loved it. They couldn't get enough of the shrimp. The batter was really light but crispy. Nothing soggy or heavy. The fries are skinny but kinda battered, good. Everyone here is super nice and helpful and felt bad they were out of the fish but obvy not their fault.
