I'm always in search of good Filipino food. We drove 40 mins to try this place after a friend recommended it. This place did not disappoint. It was a super busy day, the place had an event going on so we ended up sitting next door in their sister restaurant. The dining area is small but nice and cozy. The lady at the front was soo friendly and so sweet. She knew it was our first time there and recommended some dishes to try. The food came and everything tasted amazing. Great flavors, and not greasy. I love the flavors of the pork sisig and the chicken. They were out of a few things so we'll definitely come back again.

Was curious about this place since people are talking about it and we tried since we're in the neighborhood. We ordered to go instead of dine in. The place is small but cozy and homey vibe. Service was nice and friendly, abit slow but all good. The foods are flavorful and tasty. Prices wise, not bad at all for the portion. Overall good foods, good service, with decent prices.

Went here for karaoke night. It was so much FUNNNNN..... we had bangus sisig and other pika pika. My son enjoyed the halo-halo. Not a big spot. Very cozy. A cute family setting or just a quick grab of food and a quick karaoke fix. The host was great. Very entertaining. My kids (teenagers) actually participated and sang a few songs.

Pancit Bihon. So flavorful and packed! Delicious!

Ethan's Belly Boink specializes in Filipino style grilled/bbq meats and comfort food. Order by the pound, À LA CARTE, or Combo plates. We did takeout for my family and were blown away at how delicious the food was! Am not an expert when it comes to Filipino cuisine, but I have tried many restaurants through friends and co-workers, and let me tell you this place Ethan's Belly Boink is above average! We stopped by right before closing time and the quality of the food was excellent made to order; no complaints. We will be back again when the craving hits! *CARD or CASH accepted;parking in a mini-mall situation. Thank you Jeff V., for this wonderful find!!

Came here on a Monday. Surprisingly busy. Everything is made to order, so it could take a long time. It wasn't too bad of a wait for us though. Only came here to try their pares. Pares was good. Would order again.

Ethan's Belly Boink was really good. We ordered the sisig with garlic fried rice and the bbq rib with yellow rice. The sisig was delicious and perfectly tangy and garlicky. The bbq rib was tender and flavorful. I definitely preferred the garlic rice over the yellow. I may add an egg next time also. Although I ordered it to go, there is a nice dining space inside. It's clean and has a modern Filipino style to it. The service was friendly as well.

Yelp has once again done it! Belly Boink randomly appeared on my page and so I decided to give it a try. What a gem hidden in plain sight! My order tasted just as good as I would have imagined. I got the Lechon Belly, aka Cebuchon, and my two sides were garlic rice and French fries. The cebuchon was perfect: not too greasy, seasoned just right and amazingly crispy. Can you see how generous they were with my servings? The garlic rice was really good. The fries were crunchy and delicious. All was paired well with their house made liver sauce. I came early and most of the other orders were also takeouts. However, the dining area can seat quite a few if needed. They had a bar set up and looks like a perfect spot for some impromptu karaoke. I will definitely come back again whenever I'm passing through Filipino Town in Carson.

    Lots choices.

Small parking lot but we were able to quickly find a spot. Some street parking around if it's full. Ethan's has two placed in this strip mall. The other restaurant has more dessert options. This is a pick-your-plate type restaurant. Pre-made dishes are behind the glass and the servers there fill your container. It's half filled with two scoops of white rice. Most of the dishes have names by the glass, a few didn't. I always get the pancit and it is very tasty here. You're second choice will depend on what's presented on the day you visit. They have a single bathroom that's locked. The key is by the register. My wife is from the Philippines and thought the food was good. We'll stop in again if we are in the area. Hope you find a couple of dishes that you like and...enjoy!!!

Ethan's Belly Boink will make your belly boink forsure! This spot is a go to for some authentic home style Filipino cuisine in the South Bay. The shop is located in a smaller plaza with a decent amount of parking spots. Inside, they have about 4-5 tables for seating. As for their menu, they have all the staples ranging from chicken, beef, pork, to seafood. Wifey and I stopped by for lunch and got the Crispy Pork Belly and Grilled Pork Belly combos with double scoops of garlic rice. The portions were generous and the food definitely hit the spot! Overall, this is a great fast casual Filipino spot for dine in or takeout. All of the staff here are very friendly and welcoming. Come stop by and support this awesome Filipino owned business!

Good food fast service friendly employees. You have your choice either sit down or take out.

Pancit Bihon. It was topped with crispy pork belly. Highly recommend!

Ordered a view dishes for my Mom's 80th birthday party. The food was delicious and a hit at the party. If you're Filipino you know everyone takes "Baon" (leftovers) home, it made clean up very easy because all the trays were empty. I ordered Sisig, Pancit Bihon, Crispy Pork Belly and Chicken & Pork BBQ sticks. My mouth is watering just listing the food I ordered. I highly recommend this restaurant for your catering needs. I will definitely be ordering again and eating at this restaurant more often!

When I arrived, he had actually kept the chicken inside the oven to make sure it stayed warm and crispy until pickup, which I genuinely appreciated. Small details like that really make a difference and show that they care about the customer experience. They also serve a variety of Korean street food items that looked amazing, and after this visit, I definitely want to come back and try more of the menu. As for the chicken -- it was delicious. Crispy, flavorful, juicy, and well-seasoned exactly the way Korean fried chicken should be. The texture stayed crunchy even after the drive home, which is always a huge plus. And this time... they had the pickles!!! Anyone who loves Korean fried chicken knows how important those pickled radishes are on the side. They balance out the richness of the chicken perfectly, so I was very happy to see them included. Overall, this experience was great from start to finish. Good food, thoughtful service, and genuinely kind owners. Thank you for making it right -- I really appreciate it and will definitely be back again.

Seems a little messy to me, but we still ordered from here because well we drove over here specifically because we wanted Korean food today and because we want to give them a try. 3 Stars for the level of cleanliness inside their restaurant. I hope they've hired more help and gotten better at this. - 4 stars for their fried chicken. The only thing we didn't like is that every time we ate here and ordered their fried chicken we felt great eating it but then had a weird tummy ache afterwards and lots of burping. But the chicken tasted so good! I don't think I'd go back again just on the two points alone, but my husband said he'd give it another try. So try it at your own risk. You may have a different experience than we did. This place used to be a Korean bbq spot - I miss that place!

I first had chicken gizzards, which had a nice soft crunch with a kind of rosemary seasoning. Next, I had the half chicken (baked) that was cut at the table. What makes this chicken special is the seasoning and sauce. Cheese was also added to the chicken as well. It was oh so tender and juicy. It had to be the most tender baked chicken I've had. I also had skillet fried garlic rice over eggs which was also seasoned real nice. It was prepared with house made soy sauce along with a special chicken broth. It was amazing! Chicken and rice may seem basic, but deep-fried dark meat chicken done right, like at Gaburi Chicken, is a comfort food that never fails to make me happy. I enjoyed their chicken a lot because they were flavorful and juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. Not too chewy or full of tendons. The coating was not greasy, and it was almost airy. The savory chicken didn't really need a sauce, but the mentai mayo I added to my meal was tasty. Two thumbs up for all of the flavors and textures. The restaurant is on Marcelina Ave with some parking directly in front, but we had to park down the street and walk over due to some road closures. Inside is small and simply decorated, and the enclosed outdoor patio had a few tables available for dining. Staff were laidback yet attentive, doing their best to manage the lunch rush. Food did take a while to come out, but it was worth the wait.

Our group of four had a chance to stop by for an early dine-in dinner, and found the chicken to well prepared and tasty. Originally founded in 1976 in Los Angeles by a enterprising franchisee who wanted to create his own fast food brand, Louisiana Famous Fried Chicken soon became very popular with LA residents. As sometimes happens with immigrant communities by word of mouth and 'paying it forward', the burgeoning Cambodians began to be the majority owners of franchisees, until it resulted in the brand being sold to a Cambodian in 2009. Considering the largest concentration of Cambodians outside of Cambodia is in Long Beach, California, I wanted to try this particular location. They also sell donuts here, and my credit card bill actually listed the donut shop as the vendor...this for me is not a selling point, but was not noticeable during our visit. It's a walk-up set-up, where you order/pay for your food through security windows. We ordered a 12-piece family combo for $35.45, which included 3 pieces of breast/thigh/wing/leg, 2 small orders of fries, a coleslaw and 6 rolls. They also sell fried catfish and shrimp, so got a 4 pc shrimp ($3.85). They only sell drinks by cans or bottles, so got 4 cans of Coke/Pepsi/Squirt. It is clearly stated that each order is fried fresh, taking about 20 minutes. Our order was ready in 15 minutes, and we decided to dine-in (a small makeshift outdoor dining area with temporary tables was set-up). The chicken was well brined and had been fried well (leaving plenty of space between the chicken), with the outer coat being crunchy with a little bit of spice. For me it tasted very similar to the popular national chain, but with more consistency. The 'small' fries were not that at all, but very large...with one being enough to feed the four of us. The fries looked underdone, but were not. There were no condiments available, so the saving grace was the thin hot sauce that you could dip your fries and chicken into. The rolls were forgettable, and the coleslaw was grocery store quality (which I actually like). In fact, the chicken and sides reminded me of what you could get at a grocery store deli, except always getting the chicken fresh, instead of ones that have been fried too many to a basket and sitting too long under a heat lamp. Freshness definitely matters here. There was plenty of food for the 4 of us, with us taking half of the meal home. It reheated very well, providing us a good lunch the following day.
