Went here to try this Filipino restaurant that my wife's Yelp friends recommended, it's very small inside but it feels very homey. I ordered what I'm craving for, got the PORK SISIG, PANCIT BIHON with Lechon Kawali, LECHON PORK BELLY with GARLIC fried rice ( Cebuchon ) Combo. I have no complaints about their food because they're all delicious. The food here is well made and each dish is very tasty. The Customers here are also friendly, a group of people behind us celebrating a birthday and came to us to offer us to join them in their Karaoke group but we really had to go coz it was already late and we don't want to get tangled up in the Traffic. Parking is the only issue we encountered here, its tight parking and we had to make a few rounds before finding one .

I'm always in search of good Filipino food. We drove 40 mins to try this place after a friend recommended it. This place did not disappoint. It was a super busy day, the place had an event going on so we ended up sitting next door in their sister restaurant. The dining area is small but nice and cozy. The lady at the front was soo friendly and so sweet. She knew it was our first time there and recommended some dishes to try. The food came and everything tasted amazing. Great flavors, and not greasy. I love the flavors of the pork sisig and the chicken. They were out of a few things so we'll definitely come back again.

Was curious about this place since people are talking about it and we tried since we're in the neighborhood. We ordered to go instead of dine in. The place is small but cozy and homey vibe. Service was nice and friendly, abit slow but all good. The foods are flavorful and tasty. Prices wise, not bad at all for the portion. Overall good foods, good service, with decent prices.

Pancit Bihon. So flavorful and packed! Delicious!

Ethan's Belly Boink specializes in Filipino style grilled/bbq meats and comfort food. Order by the pound, À LA CARTE, or Combo plates. We did takeout for my family and were blown away at how delicious the food was! Am not an expert when it comes to Filipino cuisine, but I have tried many restaurants through friends and co-workers, and let me tell you this place Ethan's Belly Boink is above average! We stopped by right before closing time and the quality of the food was excellent made to order; no complaints. We will be back again when the craving hits! *CARD or CASH accepted;parking in a mini-mall situation. Thank you Jeff V., for this wonderful find!!

Came here on a Monday. Surprisingly busy. Everything is made to order, so it could take a long time. It wasn't too bad of a wait for us though. Only came here to try their pares. Pares was good. Would order again.

Ethan's Belly Boink was really good. We ordered the sisig with garlic fried rice and the bbq rib with yellow rice. The sisig was delicious and perfectly tangy and garlicky. The bbq rib was tender and flavorful. I definitely preferred the garlic rice over the yellow. I may add an egg next time also. Although I ordered it to go, there is a nice dining space inside. It's clean and has a modern Filipino style to it. The service was friendly as well.

Yelp has once again done it! Belly Boink randomly appeared on my page and so I decided to give it a try. What a gem hidden in plain sight! My order tasted just as good as I would have imagined. I got the Lechon Belly, aka Cebuchon, and my two sides were garlic rice and French fries. The cebuchon was perfect: not too greasy, seasoned just right and amazingly crispy. Can you see how generous they were with my servings? The garlic rice was really good. The fries were crunchy and delicious. All was paired well with their house made liver sauce. I came early and most of the other orders were also takeouts. However, the dining area can seat quite a few if needed. They had a bar set up and looks like a perfect spot for some impromptu karaoke. I will definitely come back again whenever I'm passing through Filipino Town in Carson.

    Lots choices.

Small parking lot but we were able to quickly find a spot. Some street parking around if it's full. Ethan's has two placed in this strip mall. The other restaurant has more dessert options. This is a pick-your-plate type restaurant. Pre-made dishes are behind the glass and the servers there fill your container. It's half filled with two scoops of white rice. Most of the dishes have names by the glass, a few didn't. I always get the pancit and it is very tasty here. You're second choice will depend on what's presented on the day you visit. They have a single bathroom that's locked. The key is by the register. My wife is from the Philippines and thought the food was good. We'll stop in again if we are in the area. Hope you find a couple of dishes that you like and...enjoy!!!

Went here for karaoke night. It was so much FUNNNNN..... we had bangus sisig and other pika pika. My son enjoyed the halo-halo. Not a big spot. Very cozy. A cute family setting or just a quick grab of food and a quick karaoke fix. The host was great. Very entertaining. My kids (teenagers) actually participated and sang a few songs.

I've been here several times after a friend recommended their Sisig which I love. Theyre located in a tiny lot so there's so parking. I order their Sisig plate and it's always fresh and it comes with an egg in top. Their garlic rice is amazing and a must get. Their portions are big for me so I tend to eat half and the other half another day unless im hungry then I eat it. Eating leftovers is just as delicious. I also tried their halo halo and it was refreshing on a hot day!

Ethan's Belly Boink will make your belly boink forsure! This spot is a go to for some authentic home style Filipino cuisine in the South Bay. The shop is located in a smaller plaza with a decent amount of parking spots. Inside, they have about 4-5 tables for seating. As for their menu, they have all the staples ranging from chicken, beef, pork, to seafood. Wifey and I stopped by for lunch and got the Crispy Pork Belly and Grilled Pork Belly combos with double scoops of garlic rice. The portions were generous and the food definitely hit the spot! Overall, this is a great fast casual Filipino spot for dine in or takeout. All of the staff here are very friendly and welcoming. Come stop by and support this awesome Filipino owned business!

Great staff! My friend and I stopped into this great shop in Lomita and had a fabulous meal. I love the way they do their poke - you get to pick TWO flavors of meat! How fun! It was all fresh, good selection of ingredients and the taste in the Crunchy Tuna Garlic was superb! We also loved the Spicy Salmon Mayo. I'm a huge tocino fan so when I saw it on their menu I had to get it! I was surprised it came with two fried eggs and was a nice, big portion. We also had to try their Crispy Masubi and this was fantastic. I've had many deep fried masubi versions and this was much nicer than those. This was the best breaded type of masubi I've had. Absolutely loved it and would get it again in a second. Overall, fabulous meal at Poke & More that I would go back for.

Poke & More is the second kind. I've been here enough times now to finally have an opinion and the woman working the counter may genuinely be one of the nicest people I've encountered in a restaurant in a while. Warm, patient, grateful you're there. The sort of person who somehow makes handing over a plastic bowl of raw fish and rice feel like an act of hospitality instead of a transaction. That matters. The place itself is simple, clean and easy. Parking isn't a battle. Nobody is trying to turn poke into theater. You order your food, they make it and you leave happier than you arrived. The bowl is straightforward: white rice, furikake, poke. And the rice deserves credit. Properly cooked, fluffy, enough structure to hold the fish without turning into paste. Traditional Hawaiian poke doesn't require sushi rice and honestly I prefer this approach. Let the fish do the talking. The fish, unfortunately, is also why this stops at four stars. I usually get two kinds of poke and the seasoning is flavorful but can run a little salty. More importantly, the texture isn't completely consistent. Some pieces have that clean, firm bite you want from raw tuna. Others can be softer, slightly mealy, occasionally a little fishier than I'd like. Nothing has ever crossed into "don't eat this" territory. It's just the difference between good poke and the kind of poke that makes you stop talking for a minute. And this is good poke. The portions are generous, the rice works, the seasoning scratches the itch and the whole thing makes for an easy, satisfying meal. There are probably flashier poke places in Los Angeles. There are certainly more expensive ones. Poke & More feels like neither. It feels like a neighborhood place that does its job. And then that ridiculously kind service bumps the whole experience up another notch. Four stars. The food is good. The hospitality is better. And I'll absolutely be back.

We've tried a lot of different version from different places all over, and have come to the conclusion that we like the version at Gemmae's, the best (as long as for my wife, they skip adding patis to the pancit). However, they also had a buffet style "scoop and go service" on the corner that has the same food on the menu but in combination plates and much more affordable pricing ($12+) that also included rice. We did not understand the discrepancy in pricing since it's the same food and pretty much the same sizing (maybe slightly smaller mains) though they may cook the food fresh/heat it up on the sit down area. My group ordered a variety of food including lechon kawali, garlic rice, vegetables, soup, pancit, etc. and they were very tasty and hit home! well seasoned. The place was not very busy so it was quick. We decided to sit in the restaurant with our ordered food since we were the only ones there. I ordered a main that was running low and the employee told me that they had to cook it and I had to wait which was fine with me. The man ended up not giving me much of the new cooked pieces but mostly of the leftovers and added a couple of pieces of the fresh ones, which was fine but with the wait made it disappointing since I could have just gotten some of the old pieces from the beginning and started eating it. Decent place - I would recommend their "scoop and go" service area for fast service and more reasonable pricing. *I heard they have karaoke in the late afternoon, which may change the vibe and atmosphere of this place so we may need to check that out! 3.2/5
