I bought six cute wine glasses from the store. They told me to pay first then come another day to pickup. On the day of picking up, they handled an used shipping box to me but I thought there would be separate product packing inside. I was wrong. The wine glasses set supposed to be a gift to my friend, but how could I sent these pieces of crap to her? The man said his products were imported and it came with the box. While you may find Lakeshore Learning inside the box. Funny. I called to ask if I can return them. They said the packing supposed to be like that. I mean, the guy's attitude sounded like my products were perfect and how dare you challenge that? Fine. Check the picture out. They charged 25% restocking fee if you want to return. My husband and I were looking for furniture to fill our formal living room. At first we were overwhelmed with all the options overall out there-styles, fabrics, and more. After narrowing down our general style, we started googling stores and browsing stores in person as well as online in both the LA and OC areas. I stumbled on Chic Home through Google searching merely by chance and immediately knew their selection fit our style by browsing their site. After going to the store for the first time, we loved what we saw! The store owner and designer was very friendly and informed us of our options. He not only sells designs already made, but offers completely customizable furniture and can also design you something from scratch. This is perfect for picky people like us! After deciding what we wanted, we were shown all the fabric selections, chair legs and other options. We settled on the "Diva" collection and opted for a 90" sofa and 2 arm chairs (fun fact: they are called 1 and a half chairs-2 people can fit on them as long as they are both relatively normal sized). Considering the fabric quality, variety, customization options, and overall furniture quality and craftsmanship-Chic Home is a very solid choice compared to other higher end furniture boutiques. Their prices are also fair for the quality provided and modern designs. The owner quoted us 4-7 weeks and we received our furniture within the quoted time frame, at 4 weeks. White glove furniture delivery was done very professionally. The delivery people did a great job and adjusted where the furniture was several times in our space before leaving. I would definitely recommend Chic home to family and friends looking for elegant, modern and eclectic pieces to add to their home. We recently ordered 4 bed sets. Only 3 were delivered, We opened packages, set up beds , expecxting 4th to arrive. After a coule days we reached out and they said all were delivered. They wanted pictures of the packages and labels. ( which were thrown out ) They would not send out missing set. I have never dealt with such an arrogant customer service . read more

I ordered a sofa from them. The sofa arrived and it looks nothing like the picture on the website. The cushions don't fit. The stitching is coming apart. The color is nothing as it was shown on the website. I received it on October 11, 2021 and since October 17 I've been emailing them. Their response was asking me if I wanted a discount. I don't want a discount on something that's defective. I want a full refund. Since then they have not responded. I have emailed them three times since October 19 and and no response. I have had to get my credit card company involved. They do not have a phone number. They only have an email address for customer service and they respond whenever they want to. I suggest no one ever buys from Chic Home because they are tremendously shady. I do not recommend them. read more

Although Fardin is very nice, but the couch we bought from him is not very nice. Don't get me wrong, the couch sits comfortably, just the workmanship is very poor(see photos). The couch was displayed in the back of the showroom, there were lots of other furniture behind the couch, so we couldn't see the back of it. We just tried on it and felt comfortable, so we bought it. The couch was delivered to us a few weeks ago, because we were still in the middle of remodeling, we didn't get to unpack it until this past weekend. It is very disappointing and sad once we saw how poorly the couch is constructed, it's almost too embarrassing to put in the middle of our living-room. Since Chic Home has no return policy, we have to sell it at discounted price, no way we are keeping it. This is our one time experience, doesn't mean all Chic Home furniture are like the one we bought. So don't let our review stop you from going there. read more

In my opinion and based on my personal experience: The good: very nice selection of items mostly light fixtures and a few options for tables, chair and home decor. Kudos to those in charge of curating the items. The bad: the prices seem too inflated. You can certainly find the same items online or at other stores (like Home Depot, Lowe's, Target, overstock, Amazon, etc) for a much lower price tag. The ugly: unfortunately the owner resorts to telling the customers untruths about the value, make, material and quality of the items and making empty promises about the delivery timeline. If you're told your item will be delivered in 4 weeks it is likely that you'll get it in 3 months. Once you make the payment you will not be treated as a valuable customer anymore. There is no such a thing as customer service once you have made a purchase. If your item arrives defected good luck exchanging or returning it. What to do: you can always make a trip to the store to be inspired and get ideas. If you like an item you can simply take a picture and use Google lens to search for it. 9 out of 10 times you'll find the same item sold for much less elsewhere. Good luck. read more

Had to come check this place out after I saw the five star rating on yelp. When you first walk in it's a little intimidating because it's a lot to see but take your time and check everything out as it's worth it. If you like the Hollywood glam, blingy look you will quickly and very easily find pieces that you will like. The show room is full of bling! If you like a more casual, subdued look be sure to speak to Leslie and/or Fardin because they have many catalogs filled with all kinds of looks and styles. Styles to fit almost anyone's style and budget. We told them what we were looking for and they very easily helped us put together the right color, fabric and size couches we wanted. (I believe most furniture stores can do that now but they really did help put it together and worked with us to make it affordable and fit into our budget.) Fardin went the extra mile to make sure we came back and ordered from him, which we ended up doing the same day as we couldn't find anything comparable at that price point. They were considered special order size so delivery would take a bit longer but they arrived within the 3 to 4 week estimate we were given and was well worth the wait. We are very pleased with our purchase!! We are now in the market for a new dining room set and this is the first place we looked. We bought Chic Home Chyna 3 Piece Velvet Comforter Set Luxurious Hand Stitched Quilted Bedding, we loved it. It looked gorgeous in our bedroom. We washed it as per instructions delicate, cold water and dried it the same. Delicate low temperature. It's ruined. When I took it out of the dryer some areas has glued themselves to other areas. Impossible to separate. The velveteen is no longer velveteen now it's a flat, dull, rough. I've emailed them since I can't find any contact number for them. We will see what happens. My wife and I have spent plenty of time looking at furniture and often leaving stores wondering where people buy nice furniture that doesn't break the bank. Our downstairs area is mostly Restoration Hardware but, we have been looking to change up our bedroom. We went to the "Row" because we had bought my home office/library furniture their in the past. The stores do come and go. Chic Home is nestled in the back. It was just a whim that we even stopped in. We were walking around and, saw a couple stores down one of the smaller streets and decided to give it a shot. This is definitely a place to check out for all your furniture needs. The place is pretty tightly packed but, they have an abundance of styles and, Fardin has plenty of books of furniture to go through. The items are rare and unique with so many choices that you just wouldn't expect. Everything is beautiful, items can be custom made and built. This is a place designers also go and, there isn't much of a guess as to why. Having now seen enough furniture to last me a while, I would consider this a must visit as it's a nice unexpected treasure trove. read more

This is my one stop for all of my beautiful furniture in my home. Excellent quality and customer service. I'm so excited about my beautiful high-end patented sofa sleeper. I saw so many accessories that I added ad well as unique items that I have seen no where else. Very friendly and helpful patient staff. So many items can be customized anthe atmosphere is very pleasant in the show room. They also do some excellent floor sales quite often so it's a good idea to keep in touch and not miss out on some good deals. I highly recommend Chic Home when you are ready to do small or large design changes to any living establishment you have as well as commercial space. I would like to add to this review, which is a few days after I made my purchase, that the delivery was exceptional. My sofa bed was completely protected with plastic wrap and the movers did a white glove delivery and took great care to protect the sofa and my property when making the delivery. Unfortunately for them it was very steep stairs and a sofa bed is superheavy so I was very impressed and happy with the service. Buyers beware! The Chic Home Store is pretty deceptive. I connected online and the shipping time is incredible long. I could not locate a physical address listed nor phone number for this company on their site and all communication with them is done by email. If you order something from them make sure you like it because they make you pay for shipping for all returns, and as you know that is not always cost effective so you may end up having to keep something that didn't work for you. Unfortunately when I placed an order from them I thought I was on the online site for Macy's (who offers easy returns), but somehow The Chic Home Store a popup link up the same item showed up with a better price. So I went through the order process only to find out it was a separate company. So be careful, when there is no brick and mortar store to return to, and costly shipping for a return - the lower price defeats the purpose and is not worth it. Very inconvenient to deal with this company. I ordered a bedspread that didn't work and am now stuck with it. I am caulking this up to an expensive learning experience. Horrible customer service. I originally purchased bedding from this store and cancelled the order before it processed because I found a bedding set I liked better. That new bedding set was delivered by Chic and I love it. However, the original cancelled purchase was later charged to my credit card. Almost 2 months later and several emails and a credit card dispute and Chic still is charging me for this cancelled order which was never delivered to me. Further, they are telling my bank that they delivered the order (which was probably the new order) and are fighting this claim. I have spent over 7 hours on the phone with my bank and through emails with Chic and have no resolution over, get this, $75.22...yep. About an hours worth of my work time. So sad of both my bank and Chics part. I will continue with the claim out of principle but will never shop this store again and will likely switch banks as well. read more

While shopping for custom sofa's at other places, I found most of the salesman acted like used car salesman (just wanted to make a sale and move on to the next), but I never felt that way about Fardin. A very hassle free shopping experience with a great selection. We are expecting our first baby so or budget was a little tight and didn't expect our bed to suddenly break on us. We were never made to feel like we had to spend more than we could afford. No annoying upsale for useless warranties. I am also not that great at knowing what part of the furnisher is what and how things are priced since I rarely shop for these things. I probably asked the same question 3 times and the gentleman never made me feel uncomfortable or acted impatient. The show room is small but don't let that fool you. They have a workshop where they can make upholstered pieces custom. I didn't want upholstered for my new bed (cats) but he had books and books of options to go though for me for solid wood pieces. He also knew his stuff inside and out. I wanted a modern look with underbed storage for linens and a dark finish. Within 5 minutes I had books with 3 great options in hand. My husband loved it because I made a decision in 10 minutes which is unheard of for me. For delivery they use White Glove which includes assembly. I've used them in this area through Costco before and they were great last time. read more
