    This dealership is very inconvenient. They sell faulty cars at full price that they don't ever bother checking for issues or detailing before selling.

    I tried finance a car with Chicago Auto Place, they asked a 500$ advance so they can start working on my finance. Unfortunately i haven't been approved for finance, i asked them to refund me my 500$ witch they told me is refundable, even in the recipe i got is written that this money are refundable. I transfer them the money on 30-Oct-2019 now it's already 03-Dec-2019 and haven't received money and they don't even answer my question when they will send money. Please ignore this Dealer Ship , they are Scam. Don't believe them and don't transfer them this 500$.

    They sold my son a lemon. DO NOT TRUST THEM!!! They sold us a car that needs a new motor!! started making clanking noises when we got it to TX. 5/8 pistons are shot.. they don't return phone calls. Jack is the name of our sales person!

    Horrible establishment! I found an Audi A6 there that was priced well & ended up purchasing it. Looking back, there were so many warning signs but I foolishly looked past them. We live many hours from there & I set up a time to test drive the car only to arrive & see it still inside. It took hours for them to get motivated enough to move all of the cars & finally get it outside. When I said I wanted to have it inspected at an independent shop on my dime before I made a final decision; I was told they don't allow that because others won't have the chance to buy it when it's away. When we showed up to do the paperwork, all of a sudden, Thijs tells us that Jack won't take the agreed upon trade-in price & it's now much less. We had to negotiate for more but definitely did not get what we were told before. We have over 800 credit scores and were told we'd be given the best rates as a result only to show up to 5.9% listed on the sales agreement. We figured we would just refinance at our credit union after & still proceeded but should have left. I had asked Jack, the so-called manager, & Christina in financing, numerous times before our arrival what our rate would be & they never gave it to us. They just kept reassuring us that we'd get the best rate. They tried to sneak in an expensive warranty & did get some bogus vin etching charge past us even though we declined both & the car had no such etching on it. We were told numerous times after the purchase that it would be refunded. It never was & we were basically told that we should have known what we were signing. I'm such an idiot!!! Thijs, the salesman, was initially very nice & helpful but suddenly was almost impossible to reach once we brought up problems, as was Jack. I seriously thought I'd have to drive there to get answers. For some reason, they hold onto the second key fob like a bar of gold. We were told we would get it & the Audi car mats at the time of purchase. Turns out there were no car mats & they now would have to mail the 2nd fob. We didn't get it until well after the purchase & I had to practically beg for it. When the temp tags that we had been issued were set to expire & our plates (which we paid for already) hadn't arrived, Thijs instructed me to just go to our dmv & do the registration & get plates & they would promptly reimburse us. I did just that & guess what? They never reimbursed us! Such a shady, unethical establishment. Three months after purchase, the car caught fire after shutting it off & going in to do some shopping. They couldn't have cared less. Avoid this place at all costs.

    Took them over 30 days to pay off the vehicle I traded in. I had to continue paying the note.

We explained exactly what we wanted and needed. Although they did not have the vehicle in stock, the sales team assured us they could locate a comparable vehicle from another dealership. We agreed on pricing, and while we were initially prepared to leave and continue shopping elsewhere, we were repeatedly encouraged to stay because they were confident they could secure the vehicle for us. Because we urgently needed a vehicle by the next day, May 5, we relied on their assurances. We agreed not to pursue other dealerships and placed a $500 deposit to move forward with the purchase. The following day, around 4:00 PM, our salesperson sent a text message stating there was a "logistics delay" and that the vehicle would be available the next day. The explanation seemed unusual, so I contacted the dealership directly. That's when I was informed that they actually did not have a vehicle available for us at all and there was nothing they could do. Needless to say, I was extremely upset. The issue wasn't just that the vehicle fell through--it was the way the situation was handled. We were given assurances that caused us to stop shopping elsewhere, only to be informed at the last minute that no vehicle was available. Better communication and transparency could have prevented a great deal of stress and inconvenience. As a parent, I was suddenly left scrambling without reliable transportation and worried about how I would get my children to school the next day. The dealership left us completely stranded. Fortunately, we immediately went to Riverfront GMC, where we found an even better version of the same make and model for over $1,000 less than the price we had agreed to at Bill KGMC. Based on this experience, I will not return to Bill Kay GMC and cannot recommend them to others. The lack of communication, accountability, and follow-through demonstrated a serious lack of integrity. Buyers should proceed with caution and make sure they have firm confirmation before relying on any promises made. I will also add, in November of 2025 we purchased form Bill Kay Nissan in DG and they were amazing! We already know we will go back there when we need our next car.

I took my 2024 CX-30 with less than 25k miles to Napleton in Countryside due to a service engine light. They told me I had water in the gas and needed $2200 new injectors. I called BS. They had no evidence other than a WATER bottle filled with gas they shook in front of me to their claim of 'bad gas'. So, I took it over to Castle Mazda at Downer's Grove and told Michael the story. He asked about codes and I gave him what I had. He asked why they cleared codes at the last place without making repairs, which I could not answer. So - he took it in for few days to run some checks - nothing came up. No charge, thanks for coming in - let us know if it comes on again. A few weeks later the light came on again and we took it back to Michael and team at Castle. He gave us a loaner vehicle and took the car in to test. For a few days they could not find the exact issue but they kept diagnosing, keeping us updated. Then, they discovered a pinhole leak in the intake manifold. They replaced the manifold and voila - car is running perfect again. All covered under warranty as I'd expect. These folks know how to do analytical troubleshooting and they run a straight-up shop. I won't service my Mazdas anywhere else.

Confirmed again with the salesperson that the price included Chicago sales tax. Got to the last phase of paperwork for buying the car and was told - price was going to increase because Chicago sales tax needed to be added. When I said that I had already verified twice with them that the price I was quoted included the correct tax, the response was "well we could just have not told you and then you would have gotten a bill from the state." Also, I own two Mazdas and was entitled to a $1000 purchase credit. First I had to ask for it to be applied. Then they required I forward the actual email which I had difficulty doing on my phone. They would not just take the coupon code shown on the email. Really disappointed with the experience so we walked out and didn't buy the car. Got the same car for the originally quoted price at another dealer one day later.

I provided the mobile banking app to show him that I could afford the car. I proceeded to test drive and it drove pretty good except for some mix matched tires, which gave it a rugged ride. Once we return, I told him that I'll think about it and let him know. I don't want to think too much into this, but a part of me felt like they felt as if my credit was not good enough or I couldn't afford this car. If that's the case, this is very sad and unprofessional. When you're selling a vehicle to a KID her mom is there, at least be a little bit, honest about it. Also we asked them if they checked that all the blinkers, headlights and all that stuff worked, they said they did and we took their word for it. Driver side reverse light is out. Not a big deal because we can fix it but again that coupled with the broken back window slider just makes them look like dirty sales people. Do not take anyone here for a vehicle purchase. You can't trust them they are not honest.

We parked by the Jeep in the lot, and it looked well enough to test drive. The sales guy, Paul, greeted us, and I agreed to come inside to talk test driving. Several employees and managers are smokers. They were outside, but I'd recommend not hanging outside smoking in front of customers. Remember, first impressions can be everything. Paul was friendly and not pushy. I thought the negotiations went smoothly. The dealership does charge $2,xxx on top of the vehicle price for "reconditioning." I didn't really hassle on that knowing markets tough, and dealers do spend money prepping their cars. That seemed high, though, for what they did to it. The finance phase of the purchase was fine. They seemed a little inexperienced because they kept throwing "well, our customers typically get this add-on" and some scare tactics like "you never know if you'll need repairs that can get really expensive." Once you calculate the cost of the warranties (because they only show you monthly payments), the warranty is well over $5,000. I'll pass. Overall, it was a quick 2-3 hours. That's relatively short from my experience. Like I said, Paul was very nice. I just don't recommend the smoking around customers. 4/5 stars.
