Excellent job by Terry towing considering the high stress location. Loaded the vehicle quickly and correctly. The shop was able to get the car repaired quickly in 1 day. I was correct that it was a loss of spark. Oddly the receipt says no warranty at all, unless it's by the part maker. Considering this, and diagnosis fee- I told them no spark, its not a 5 star review considering the price. They fixed a high stress situation. Absolute bad job by Willowbrook PD. My car was disabled at the light on Route 83 South and 63rd. This is a horrible spot to be disabled. I called in requesting a push over to the shoulder, or at least the left turn lane next to me (getting out of the way of highway speed traffic). Either I could take a look or call roadside service. The cop refused and alleged it was unsafe to push me through the intersection. Having cars slam on their brakes behind you doing 60mph+ is unsafe. Didn't mind having the flatbed go into the intersection to load me onto the truck. I asked again and got the same replay after waiting 20 mins getting uneasy over the cars possibly crashing into us. He parked behind me and had his emergency lights off! Overrode me and ordered their own tow and wouldn't let me use my roadside assistance. Before this, I saw his truck (with push bars) casually coast through the grocery store parking lot. No sense of safety nor urgency. I literally should have put it into neutral and pushed it myself if I knew he would do this. Protect and serve, not me. Literally cost me $350 over what I could have fixed it myself for. B & E Towing & Auto Repair, I cannot THANK them enough for the outstanding level of customer service and being extremely responsive. I was in desperate need of a tow, waited 5 hours for AAA tow service in below frigid temperatures to arrive, only to have them claim my ticket was not in the system. Desperately trying to contact other companies; B & E (and Jose) arrived when they said they would; in a timely manner. Jose was very quick, professional, kind and courteous. Eric and crew have fixed items that the dealer was never able to diagnose or fix. He was also honest about items that they could not fix. I had issues with an O2 sensor that was intermittent, that the Dealer could not find. I left the car with B & E and they diagnosed the issue after driving the car around for a week. I had issues with a Subaru Outback a/c that periodically stopped running. His crew could not diagnose without having a Spare Subaru Outback to swap out parts with to fix. He instructed me to take to a dealer that could do this. The dealer required multiple weeks and trips back to repair. read more

Called in asking if they do the package take backs from UHaul as they are a UHaul dealership. The guy assured me they do. Got there and without even saying a hello or anything he blurts out I can't do that. "It's a hassle and difficult to do." I was taken aback because they are contracted to do so. Not Recommended. This is by far the worst towing company in the area. Unfair prices, racketeering, and rude employees (Terry and John) are just a few of their offences. They will hold any and all valuables in your car hostage until you "sell" your vehicle to them for under half the KBB value. I would avoid this place at all costs. Westmont shell is a much better and safer alternative. read more

My husband had been stranded for hours. The roadside service we had said they couldn't get anyone. We got B & E's name from the guy at the Shell station. They told me they would see if they could get someone to my husband in about 30 minutes. They had him hooked up to the tow truck less than 20 minutes later. I believe John was the driver's name. They are working with the burr ridge police to tow vehicles. When the police tell you that they use b&e (you have no choice) What's in it for b&e and the police? When they arrived to tow the car, my wife was denied to have it towed to our house. That way b$e can charge a daily holding fee. No surprise there, but when I spoke with them about the car the following day, they failed to mention the daily fee. They also charged over $500 to tow the vehicle less than 2 miles away! They even put on a $40 admin fee - what for? And a title search fee - again what for? The gal taking the payment couldn't explain these fees. But wait it gets better... Chris ( employee, owner, mechanic - who knows) claimed the vehicle was totaled and that I call my insurance company to have them send an adjustor out for the claim. They didn't even look at the damage to the car before saying this. The vehicle it turns out is not totaled. It runs fine today after repair. They fail on a number of levels as a business - Overpriced, dishonest, don't care about the customer, and can't explain fees. And they work worth the local Police to get business. Smells rotten to me. Avoid these guys like the plague! read more

We had an issue with our car on the road and weren't familiar with a shop in the area. I looked up this spot and called and explained what we were dealing with. I feel bad not getting his name but we were there only 30 minutes before closing and the mechanic was so patient with us. He checked the car out and gave us his best recommendation on what was wrong and whether we'd make it home safely. We were in and out in 15 minutes but more importantly he was kind and generous with us. Long story short- he was exactly right about what was wrong! read more

John showed up very quickly and got my car on the truck in a matter of a few minutes. He was extremely professional throughout the entire process. I had a flat tire and they came right out to fix it within 30 minutes, took the tire back to the shop to repair it, and I was able to come by at my convenience to get it put right back on. An Honest Auto Mechanic is priceless! We have been customer's of B & E's ever since we owned a GM vehicle. For some reason they always needed some type of repair. We could always count on Eric to repair the car at a reasonable price. Sometimes we didn't even think that he charged enough! How many people can say that about a mechanic?
