They evidently have found a host in me and I have several bites which I didn't know were bedbug bites. The condo has an exterminator who to carry out the treatment explained that before he could even do the treatment we would have to prepare by emptying out all our draws, flipping the furniture and moving furniture away from the wall as well as removing the pictures from the wall. All items in draws need to be put in garbage bags and run through the dryer for at least 15 minutes on high. This has to be done for the bedding too. Ivan was recommended to come and treat and take away the headboards and help us prepare for the exterminator. Thank god for Ivan because we could not have been prepared to allow treatment without him. He did everything quickly and efficiently and he has made himself available for questions. I would highly recommend him if you unfortunately find that you have had a bedbug invasion. He is truly a professional who does an excellent job.

I was so stunned that he was there because I didn't even know we had a bug problem. I stood there watering the grass and wanting to know why he was there (I was on the condo board at the time), and was growing upset that he wouldn't tell me. In retrospect, because he was hired privately, I can see why he wouldn't. He'd have to air out the extermination issue in someone else's unit. I wasn't thinking of it like that at the time though. (I'd lived in an apartment years ago where a tenant said the roaches were her "friends" and refused to let anybody in to spray. I was reliving that nightmare neighbor when he arrived.) I grumbled about it and kept watering the lawn. Fast forward two years later until last weekend, the same person who hired him before arranged for this company to exterminate our entire building. And this time I was totally on board. Also, exterminating only one unit in a building will only lead to bugs going to the next unit and the next one after that. I absolutely support that they charge for ALL units to apply pressure on those roaches-are-my-friends types. For the life of me, I cannot fully remember what the guy looked like who I was complaining about while watering the grass. It's been too long. Physically, he (Sam) vaguely reminds me of the exterminator who showed up in my unit this time, but it could be two different people. All I know is I liked Sam who treated my unit in 2023. He patiently explained where he was spraying, persistently explained where he wouldn't spray (because he was worried about my dog AND he had very kind things to say about dogs anyway, which won me over immediately) and was a friendly guy. If this WAS the same guy, he sure didn't hold a grudge against me when he returned. He was professional, informative and had a dry sense of humor. I am not in a position to know what their rates are so I can't say whether they're reasonable or not, but I liked the service. I didn't have a bug problem either time the exterminator from two years ago or last weekend (assuming it's not the same person) arrived, so I'm hoping that continues. So far, so good.

I was giving this company the benefit of the doubt. After seeing the negative reviews, and their response to those reviews. (And probably they will respond to my review, too. But their responses usually explain the situation explaining their point of view ultimately saying how it was the customers fault or they had a "special situation" I was skeptical but again gave the benefit of the doubt, like maybe it was the customers fault in those cases. I've worked in customer service before, you cant make everyone happy. By now I already talked to Kevin (bedbugs specialist) and have had a positive experience. He was very informative and educational about bedbugs. Things I've never heard about before, like using your car as a oven to kill the bedbugs when weather is over 75 degrees, thats a great idea. And I appreciated all of that. On top of that, the price of $1250. For all visits was a good deal for me. Other companies seem too cheap or too expensive, so with the good experience I had with him with the price seem like a good bet. The only problem that came along was that I've said twice they might come on Saturday, June 5th. Because thats the best day for me to pay for it. And I say MIGHT because he said I had to prep the house before they come. First they said confirm that the company will be doing the treatment then they will send prep list, THEN let them know when they will come. Thats what I thought the process is supposed to be. First time was on a call I said that Ill try to for Saturday but I'm not sure so ill let him know. He tells me if I have any questions to let him know by call or email. And I did, I asked a lot of questions on email and It was really nice. I thought some of them were stupid and he said that "no questions are stupid, let me know if you have any more" I then said "Alright still have to do the prep im trying to shoot for Saturday but ill let you know when im ready and sure. Thanks" (June 1st) He then said "let me know by tomorrow end of day how you are doing" (June 1st) I can say thats where Im at fault. I didn't message back to let him know. And I mentioned Saturday. But does that confirms they should come? So its June 5th, And their here. I have my own reasons why I wasn't ready. But I shouldn't have to explain them. Kevin did say I didn't have to dry all the clothes. Just bag them is fine. But with all the clothes we have I thought it was best to. I'd rather treat the clothes just to make sure before they come so its as affective as possible. But I didnt reach my goal for Saturday. Thats my fault. But eventhough I did not message him to let him know. I STILL DIDN'T CONFIRM. I'm surprised not only did they not tell me what time they were coming, there was only one guy there to do treatment? Maybe thats okay but I don't know to save time wouldn't you have atleast two people?? I tell them the house isn't ready And they give me a call A woman tell me in an upset tone. "But you scheduled for today" I try to explain but it didn't matter and said Kevin will be giving me a call. Kevin calls me and says "I'm not very happy..." I tried to explain but he cuts me off saying "I had to say no to many customers. Now they have to sleep with bugs for another week because I scheduled today for you" And I had a problem with that and I say "hey I didnt even know what time!?..." And now we are at an argument cutting off each other. Then ends and he says hes not comfortable treating my house and to choose another company And I said Great and hung up before him saying "have a nice day" because just wow. To me it was unprofessional when it didn't have to be. Why would you schedule me not knowing SURE im ready?He even told me he is not going to schedule me until I tell him I'm ready? I'm sorry for the people you had to schedule for next week. But why would you have to tell me? I'm not the person who scheduled them?? And now of course I feel bad and want to take the blame because thats the type of person I am because I know where I was at fault. But no, its still not right. For him to take no accountability AT ALL?? It didnt even have to be an argument. I was just shocked because I had faith in them. They gave me relief like Ill actually be able to treat this problem. And I was going to be ready for Tuesday and let them know when I would be ready. Take it as you will, thats my experience. If you are going to consider this company. They came to our apartment a single time to take pictures, leave bait in one location despite hearing the rat throughout the walls of the apartment and nothing else. Its been two weeks and Cherie continues to be impossible to reach and the rats are still living in my walls! Prices may be low and I can clearly see why, call any other company to deal with a pest problem.

They failed to respond to several emails and never identified a source of the Bed Bugs. None of the furniture in the apartment was moved, which tells me they could not have sprayed all sides of the furniture. Seems like they did not do much at all besides randomly spray the walls and tell you to buy Bed Bug Covers. Their preparation checklist is very thorough, so they clearly expect you to put in far more effort than them. After completing the entire checklist, they told us certain things were not done like Vacuuming, which was not true. If you want to get rid of your bed bug problems I would take your business elsewhere.

(when there's one there's going to be more) After having an exterminator out, who found no trace of bed bugs I decided that it would be better to spend ~$65 and get a mattress cover as insurance rather that let our $1000+ mattress get infested if there were more to come. When the bundle arrived, my first thought right away was that the material its made out of is very cheap. Then when I went to put it on the bed I found a hole in the mattress cover rendering it useless. I called American Wellness Supply and asked for a refund but was told that they would like the opportunity to correct their mistake and send out a new one. I asked if the new one arrived damaged or fell apart quickly if I would be given a refund and was told that they would. The second bundle arrived without damage and I was able to put it on the bed. I still thought the material was cheap and wondered if it would hold up.... it did not. After sleeping on the cover for ~4 weeks the corners started to tear and it has now fallen apart. I contacted the company to request the refund that I was promised but have been told that whoever I spoke with didn't have the authority to promise that and that they will only refund within 10 days of receiving the first order. They also offered to upgrade my bundle (no thanks). I have opened up a dispute with my bank and been told to return the defective items but the person I'm able to contact will not give me a return address. (I'll soon be sending it to the address on their website) Fortunately we have not seen any new critters...The idea of a mattress cover as insurance against bedbugs is a great idea but this website takes advantage of people's fears without providing a real quality solution. They called and discussed my concerns and did everything in their powers to make it right. They even refunded my payment because of what happened. Their efforts certainly made me feel better as a customer and I can tell they were deeply apologetic and really do care about their customer's happiness. Now, this is what great customer service is all about! _______________________________________________________________________________ I was looking for a rodent control company and somehow EZ Bed Bug popped up. I only chose them because they were able to send someone immediately (same day). I had rats this year coming to my back patio and I couldn't get rid of them myself so I decided to call professional help. I caught a live one on a physical trap that got caught in a drain hole. Don, from EZ Bed Bug, said no problem, he'll be able to come and dispose the live rat plus treat the areas with bait station and prevent further rats. He sent an employee that was unprofessional from the start. He didn't have work attire, brought bait stations without poison and no equipment. I was hesitant to continue with them but knew I had to get rid of the live rat. So he continued and asked me for my own household equipment (broom, metal tongs and forks) to kill the rat because he had NO equipment with him. After about an hour, the rat was killed but he had to cut my electrical wire. Needless to say, I was very traumatized and upset about all this! I called Don right after the service and told him how upset I was. The only reason I paid them is because the poor employee was sweating kiling the rat. I told Don that his company was very unprofessional because 1) he didn't tell his employee that he was going to deal with a live rat 2) employee had no work attire and NO equipment with him and 3) had no rat poison to set in bait stations. Don said he would make it up and send someone the next day to fill the stations with poison which he did. But the subsequent follow ups for the next month were never completed. I called Don again for the other followups and he never picked up my phone or fulfilled the services. Do NOT use them - they are not professional!

They tried the heat treatment, but still weren't able to get the temperature high enough, although they did treat the room with pesticide which seemed to have done a good job. I was also told that a new heat machine was bought and that if I have any further issues, that I can call and they will return.

So, I needed to wash everything and put in plastic bags. So, they (girl and a little older man) came first Saturday exactly at 9:00 am. With the smile on their faces, they finished everything in 10 minutes. Next week they came again and next week again. I followed their instruction and finally get rid of the most disgusting things in my life thanks to S & S Pest Control. I recommend them with all my heart. The issue was mainly in my elderly father's room and occasionally my other tenant. Unfortunately I had to throw away his wood bed frame. I love how patient Billy and his assistant were with my parents and explained every process. Yes Billy is fast talking lol however some people are who they are. I haven't had an issue since he's treated my units. My advice is to please follow his guidelines and call the minute something reappears during the guarantee period.
