Salespeople are rude and unprofessional, and its confirmed by other reviews here. Reached out about a car they had listed. Took two separate asks just to get pictures of the underside/rocker panels, which should be a pretty normal request before driving out to look at anything. First response was just "no rust very good condition" with no pics, had to ask again before they actually sent some. When I said I wasn't sure about coming in because of the distance and other listings with lower miles/price for the same car, the salesman (Tomek) got pretty rude about it, accused me of "wasting his time." I was just trying to gauge if there was room to negotiate before making the drive out, which is normal buyer behavior. Not a good look if a straightforward question about pricing gets you attitude before you've even seen the car in person. AVOID! read more

Was sold a vehicle by Albert and the vehicle turned out to be a complete lemon. I have the car for three months and I've had nothing but trouble. I've had to replace the muffler, the catalytic converter needs to be replaced, which they said was not an issue when I purchased. They obviously cleared the codes. I have broken down twice now due to the suspension and almost wrecked because of it putting my child and myself in jeopardy. I was told by Albert that the vehicle was properly inspected and in good working condition. They claim on their website this so called "promise" that the vehicles are inspected for safety prior to selling. This vehicle was not suitable or safe for a sale and they knew this. I sent multiple messages to Albert and the a copy of repairs that I had been quoted and he failed to respond. My last message to him was quite furious due to almost wrecking with my children due to suspension failure. He says to me that "he would not take any responsibility for this and to not wreck his day off" I asked Albert multiple times if the vehicle was in good working order at time of sale and he promised me that it was just to make his $250 commission. I believed him, and because I believed this liar this situation has put my life and children's life in danger. also out $4500 and now a broken down vehicle. I called to speak with a manager or owner. I had the opportunity to speak with a very unprofessional, rude and condescending young boy. He only wanted to put me in my place. I couldn't get a word in edgewise. I tried to explain to him what the issues were and he said that the vehicle with that high of mileage should not have even been on the floor, and then said Albert sells only good working vehicles. Very contradictory but then wanted to condescend to me saying "there comes a time as a buyer to take responsibility" I have been taking responsibility with the lemon I was sold. I explained to him that I had been sending messages to Albert for weeks and have not received any solution from him. The manager stated he never heard anything from Albert regarding the situation. I asked him what they could offer to get my vehicle running again. The manager did not offer any solid solution to get my vehicle repaired or to take accountability. He only offered to sell me another vehicle. The conversation was not going anywhere with this kid and had enough of his nonsense. I requested his supervisors name and he said he was in charge. I requested the owners contact information and he refused to supply me with any contact information, and then he hung up the phone. I will be reporting this company to the BBB and other platforms in hopes to inform people of these scam artist willing to put people in danger for a buck. read more

Absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional behavior. This review is about a 2022 Toyota Corolla Hybrid. Chris handled the financing and clearly confirmed the deal. Everything was agreed upon and moving forward. We spoke the same morning, and I explicitly told him I would call at 2 PM . Based on that conversation, I went to the bank, got a check ready, and scheduled a pre-purchase inspection. Then, without any call, warning, or basic courtesy, I received a message saying the owner decided to sell the car and it was already sold. After wasting my time, they suddenly claimed I didn't send a $1,000 deposit to hold the car something that was never clearly communicated as mandatory. That excuse came only after the car was sold. If you are negotiating with a customer and planning to sell the car to someone else, you PICK UP THE PHONE and inform them. Instead, the manager said, "I'm just a hired hand, it was the owner's call." Passing blame like this shows a complete lack of responsibility and professionalism. This dealership does not respect customers' time, does not honor verbal commitments, and operates in a completely unfair way. Total waste of time. You sold me the 97 green jeep Wrangler. We seemed to have lost touch when I had questions about an oil leak. I"ll give you an update, the fuel tank has a leak and the skid plate that holds the tank in place has rusted away. Both differentials need to be overhauled as the gears in them are chewed up. I found the sources of the oil leaks. The gasket at the distributor and a HOLE in the oil pan. There is a considerable amount of rust that you played off as "surface rust" well we both know that was a lie as well. I know you don't care, for you there is no service after the sale, hell you didn't even bother texting me back. I will give you guys as much consideration when I go to the BBB, yelp and any other site that does consumer protections. Once I told him that the offer was extremely low, as I know the value for the car.. he became arrogant and started down grading my vehicle. Bad Experience, And a waste of my time! I spent time with the sales person Noemi negotiating a deal, we agree and I go to the bank to get a cashiers check. While at the bank I get a text from Noemi telling me she has to leave and Alexis (Aleksandra) the finance manager will finish my deal. I get back to the dealer, and sit in front of Alex and now my agreement that I have before I travel to the bank to get funds for has changed. 1. I state that a Malfunction light had to be reset twice. It was said to be a recalibration and is fine. Later I google that Malfunction and it indicates the suspension is going out! They were going to sell that 2009 Mercedes-Benz CL-Class CL550 4MATIC with suspension problems had I not seen or caught them resetting the alert! I mention to Alexis that Noemi agreed that I would be given a grace period if the malfunction light came back on. But they also tried to push a $1900 warranty on to it. I refused, I said why would I buy this vehicle knowing something wrong to later have it come back again after time. So the deal was done, I refused the deal! Before I did Alexis very unprofessional, cutting me off while I was talking, she called someone who I believe was an owner and he said to me that, maybe I need to buy a Honda or Toyota because that was a $100,000 car! Insult! I was a bad sales experience, and they didn't care once I stood on not buying that peace of junk, the only positive is that it was clean! So if you go there, you have to examine their cars! THEY HAVE ISSUES! Lastly I ready many of the reviews and the low rated ones all seem the same! They sold a bad car and I admit the seller is responsible, I'm so glad the malfunction light came on! I inquired about the vehicle on the seller's website. I asked if there were any mechanical or general issues with the vehicle I should be aware of. The owner told me that there were no mechanical issues with the vehicle. I told him I would only purchase the vehicle if it had an inspection and there were no issues. He agreed there were no issues and the car was in mint running condition. When I received the vehicle, I got a inspection a few days later, the check engine light was on and the vehicle had so many mechanical issues that it was deemed unsafe to drive by the auto repair shop and the mechanic I went to recommended I return the vehicle immediately due to the many safety issues and concerns associated with the purchased vehicle. I called the owner back and informed him of all the mechanical issues and he kept lying saying the vehicle was perfect and no issues. So I had my mechanic to call him and go through the list of many issues that the vehicle had. I told the owner I wanted a refund because he lied about the condition of the vehicle, he said all he could do is "buy the vehicle back" and he would send me a check minus 10% of the money I paid him. He only sent back $13, 826 of the $16,019 I paid him for the vehicle, even though he was aware the vehicle was a lemon and did not disclose this information at time of the sale. This person is buying used vehicles and selling them without an inspection first and luring low income customers by telling them the vehicle has been inspected and nothing is wrong and then keeping 10% of the profit when the customers discover the vehicle is lemon and want to return. He is deceiving customers with this practice. I live out of town so I had no way to check the vehicle for myself so I trusted the dealer to give me the correct information, but he did not. His mechanics are not even inspecting these vehicles to ensure sure they can pass safety and emissions testing. He's selling uninspected, dangerous vehicles that are unsafe to drive. It took 5 months after the purchase/trade-in, an attorney and the secretary of state to get this dealership to payoff my trade in. They play games and try to fly below the radar of law enforcement. They would throw a minimal amount of money at the loan each month whenever I complained that it was showing as late. They kept giving me vague excuses as to why they hadn't paid it off or when they would pay it off (waiting for the check to post - it was sent) and ultimately stopped responding to me all together. I hired an attorney and they filed a complaint with the Sec. of State. Once the police were involved and a notice from my attorney went out, they quickly paid off the trade in. Traded in Sept. 21st 2019...FINALLY paid off Feb 11th 2020 These people have no integrity and unless you can afford two car payments, DO NOT do business with them. read more

I explained to Malgorzata the finance manager 3 times prior to leaving their office that my first name was spelled incorrectly on the purchase documents for the car I purchased, she kept insisting that it didn't matter. I've worked in the banking industry and I know first hand that incorrect documents would produce an incorrect title. She finally changed the financial documents because I refused to sign the paperwork until she produced correct documentation for me to sign. My title arrived yesterday with an incorrect name. I called and spoke with Margie and she assured me Malgorzata was going to call me back, the business day ended with no call back and I called them at 12:45pm and they close at 7:00pm. Be careful who you do business with. Update: I did go to the SOS and I was advised by the clerk that it was an error on the dealer's documentation. It is a strange coincidence that the dealer is blaming the error on the SOS, it is very difficult to believe the Dept of motor vehicles made the SAME EXACT mistake the dealer did. Also, the vehicle I purchased required almost $1,000 worth of repairs. Per Autofix, a reputable repair facility in Palatine, the hoses on the vehicle needed to be changed and the hoses on the car were taped together instead of clamped together. The problem occurred within 6 weeks of the car purchase. Also,the tail light kept coming off. From our experience, the car was definitely put together to "look good" but is a lemon. read more

I went in to look at a Subaru but opted for another vehicle beautiful int/ext. Engine sounded great took a test drive one day, took her home the next day. 2 weeks later at the bank antifreeze leaking all over parking lot, refilled it & back to Chicago Cars US I went. Jacob said it was the thermostat that needed replacing but would need to remove the engine altogether parts & labor $437. Mind you I just wrote a $10k check for purchase, it felt like a bad dream! I asked why it wasn't repaired prior to selling it? Then I thought "why would they do that when they could get MORE money" ?! Guess they thought I'd write another check... I asked them about the power options all working and I said windows locks, etc.. they assured me they did, which I had them email me that in writing as well. The same lady who was more than happy to take my cash was now reacting like I was a bother. If there was an option for zero stars, I would've chosen that! I purchased a 2008 Honda Odyssey with a warranty that we were told covers everything from this place in April, as soon as we left the lot the check engine light came on. My husband called and they said that we could bring it back in sometime during the next week and they would check it out and fix the problem. In the meantime, my husband took it to a Pep Boys so they could hook it up and check the codes, there was 3, one of which was for an issue with a cylinder which is why I'm sure the Eco light keeps coming on and off. I brought the car back and showed them the codes and they gave me a rental, there was also some cosmetic work we wanted fixed... about 4 days goes by and my husband calls to follow up and was told the car was ready. I drive the 35 minutes back to the dealership with my 2 kids to go pick it up the following day and the guy comes out and tells me the car isn't ready! All they did was clear the code for the check engine light. A month later, the car starts pulling to the left and right, the smell of rotten eggs is coming through the vents (which is the catalytic converter) and the car seems to be hesitating to get into the next gear when starting to drive, seems like an issue with the cylinder still. I called and was told to bring it in the following Tuesday. So... yet again, I make the trip with both of the kids to what I thought would be dropping it off AGAIN and getting another loaner. Nope, they drove it around the block and just hooked up the scanner to see if any codes popped up. Well, since the check engine light never came back on, nothing popped up so they told me the car was perfect.I asked them what about the rotten egg smell and was told they didn't smell anything and that the catalytic converter wasn't covered under the warranty. I asked about the car pulling to the left and the right and was told that it needs an alignment, which they apparently don't do. NOW, my temporary plates expired yesterday, I called them this morning wondering what was going on with them and if they knew why they were never mailed to me. The lady who answered the phone said they had them there. I asked why they were never mailed to me and she said that they usually call to confirm the address before they mail them. Well, we never got a phone call. It took me having to call them to finally get them. I also asked if I would be able to get an oil change while I'm there. She put me on hold and when she came back, said that they do not do oil changes. What kind of dealership doesn't do oil changes??? I ended up going in today to get my plates and inquired about why they do not do oil changes if they have a mechanic and a mechanic shop and the guy tried making up some excuse about a lift that he couldn't even finish the story on, then says something about the oil.. I kept on about it and how we've tried to get them to fix issues for the past 3 months now and they have made up several excuses and haven't fixed a thing, He then says, if you want an oil change you have to make an appointment and they have to "order parts". Really?? You don't have an oil filter or even oil in your "mechanic shop"? This has been, BY FAR, the worst experience I have ever had at a dealership, they obviously know nothing about customer services and even cars for that matter. They try talking to me as if I know nothing about cars and in turn just make themselves sound like complete idiots! My father has been a mechanic for over 40 years and probably knows more about cars than all the employees there COMBINED!!! I've told my father about the crap that I've dealt with from these people and he himself has said, these people sound like complete idiots!
