STRONGLY STRONGLY STRONGLY recommend going to a CVS or Walgreens. These facilities are not run by qualified professionals. That practice over-billing. They have zero professionalism. Due to legal parameters, I am not able to discuss the pending case but, on the record, I would record every interaction with any of these facilities. Update: Apparently 6 phone calls, the majority of which lasted over 5 minutes, is considered harassment and warrants a POLICE visit to my home at 9:30 at night. Then wild accusations of me coming out to hurt these people are being reported. I can't even say I am kidding. This is all because of insurance fraud I discovered when they wouldn't refund me the incorrect amount they charged. Then 5 minutes after the officer from DuPage Country Sherrif I get a cal from none other than the company that filed a police report?! They want to refund me the money. He claims the machine is going to close and will contact me in two minutes. At 9:23, I still have received no phone call and when I contact the DuPage County Sheriffs about the issue...I receive more of a logistical nightmare and insults because I was being subservient to the police officer...don't get me started on this. Technically, the police were harassing me over my SIX phone calls to the Lombard office, but the Naperville office called me. I made the responsible decision to reach out to the DuPage County Sheriffs Office, despite the fact that they have absolutely no jurisdiction over the Naperville office since they are not the one who filed a complaint, but was essentially ignored, insulted, and interrupted, then hung up on because I did not speak in a demure way to the Officer. I am currently waiting for a phone call back from the Watch Commander, but I am not holding my breath as to any real resolution because it seems impartiality and unbiased police work has gone out the window. Satisfactory Experience based on my 3 visits to this clinic. I'm like a guy who always go for cheap and best options for everything I need. I found this place when I googled an Urgent near my place from Lombard. First time, I walked in at evening 4:30 p.m for health checkup. After some paper work they allowed me to visit a doctor called Brad, he is very polite and knowledgeable. I felt very comfortable and better place compared to other clinics near Lombard, and it is very affordable if you compare to other clinics. So, I left this place at 5:40 pm. Second Visit: This time I got mixed experience with these people. I was went in on Saturday at 11 A.M, it seems to little rush because of weekend day I guess. This time I felt uncomfortable waiting for an hour to visit my doctor. After one hour I got appointment to visit my doctor though, I left with bad experience this time. Third Visit: As I'm very keen to know about affordable place in my area, I got some news on Yahoo news about this clinic that they are providing flu shots for just $14. I was thinking to have my flu shot as winter is too dangerous for Flu virus. I went in for having Flu shot for $14, but they said it was $14.99 and it is not $14. I was little confused, but I decided to have my shot because I felt it was a good deal. If I want to talking about the people and environment here is awesome. I took my niece to this place last week. It was a minor muscle pull so I did not mind taking her to the closest place irrespective of the reviews. I think they took good care of her. She is ok now. she is covered by insurance, which is so critical here in US and therefore the charges don't bother me much. But the reason I chose to write this is because of somewhat obnoxious reviews and some personal remarks over a few people working there. Medical care, like my profession of finance, is a specialised field and very critical one. And like finance, where everyone has an opinion, so do people about medicine, even when they have not studied a simple subject like biology till their high school. It seems they do it here as much as they do it in my country. While people have a right to opinion, when it comes to medicine, I think they should be a bit prudent. I have seen other clinics here in US as well. My take is that, Medicare is very expensive in this country and most of the clinics, while making money, bear the brunt of the patients for high costs. Otherwise, why would someone comment over a dysfunctional ambulance in front of the clinic? For the Lombard immediate care, I think it is a decent place, if you want to have a medical checkup done, or any other day to day medical situation. It's not a super speciality facility but then I wouldn't go here for a heart surgery anyways ! read more

I had been here last week with my mother who was suffering a really bad cold, headache with terribly stuffy nose. Usually I don't prefer the Doctors office, because I never had a such good experience with them. I thought of visiting urgent care and booked an appointment ahead. It was 10' 0 clock in the morning I made my way to DIC clinic. Upon arriving their clinic, we were greeted by the pretty looking front desk receptionist. My mother was new patient here so we had some paperwork to fill. Her vitals were taken and as it was over we were asked to wait for a few moments in the waiting room. It was well furnished with sitting arrangements for patient and cable T.V not to make the waiting patient bored. Within another 15 minutes we were in to see the doctor. Dr. Syed, was one of the honest and friendly man I've ever met. He listened to my mother carefully and did a chest x-ray on her to check for bronchitis. Sure enough that was it, the Dr.Syed prescribed a dose of antibiotics with some other med. My mother felt better within a few days after taking those prescribed medications. As far as our experience is concerned, it was overall good. The staffs were very professional and friendly with the patient. They've all the facilities within their clinics. I definitely recommend this place for any urgent care treatment. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. We brought our son here to remove a tick that we couldn't get out ourselves, and the doctor thought it was lice. I don't have a medical degree, but I know for a fact that lice looks absolutely nothing like a tick. Then, the doctor proceeded to Google lice to try to convince us he was right (I wish I were kidding) and after looking at the photos then said "Oh, I guess it's not lice..." This was after telling the nurse who was in before the doctor MULTIPLE TIMES that we brought him in to remove a tick, which she ignored and kept asking what was wrong with him (to which we repeatedly said "TO REMOVE A TICK"). After the tick was finally removed, they did not put any antibiotic cream or iodine on it, which is pretty standard when removing a tick, so I had to do it when we got home. Then, afterwards they wanted to send the tick in for a sample and asked for additional money, which we refused - at that point we were fed up of the incompetence of the staff and insisted on seeing our son's primary care provider instead. So, what do they do? They sent it in anyway and send me a bill a couple of weeks later for almost $200! We are never, EVER going here again. If you value your health, sanity, and wallet, steer clear of this place. Worst immediate care I have ever been to, hands down. read more

During the weekend I was crippled by a miserable ear infection. It was aching and I felt helpless and just wanted to get some relief. I am little skeptical about getting into an urgent care that makes people seat for long in a waiting room. I walked in to the Doctor's Immediate Care clinic because of my friend's suggestion who told about his good experience with them. As I get into their office, the front desk girl greeted and checked me in. My apprehension was eased by the gentle and kind nurse who took my vitals within a few minutes of arrival and informed I'll be meeting the Dr. soon. Dr. Alex came in and I started describing my concerned to him. First he looked at my ears and noticed it was too blocked to check for an infection. He was so kind to clean out my right ear and examined carefully what causing the infection. Then he wrote up a prescription for some antibiotics and gave his words of assurance that I'll feel better soon. I was out of their clinic within half an hour and by the evening the pain gradually abated. I was off to celebrate a party later that night. It was really a wonderful experience with DIC and thanks to their most professional and caring staff. read more

I did a walk in to this clinic and that actually exceeded my expectation. Doctors and staffs were excellent. They knew their duty very well. I arrived at their clinic by 10 am in the morning and found everyone fairly busy with their work. The receptionist welcomed me with a smile and she let me fill the paper works. The moment I finished it, a nurse ushered me to another room to see the doctor. There was one cable T.V and I got myself busier watching T.V still the doctor come. Doctor Amir came within a few minutes and he greeted me introducing himself. His behavior was so friendly that I didn't have an iota of nervousness while addressing my concern to him. GREAT! That was absolutely what I expected from an urgent care physician. He took his time to listen to me and explained how he is going to get the issue solved by applying his medical knowledge. Before coming out with a solution he insisted for some medical test and the nurse helped me to get it done. Finally, I ended up with a prescription of medication and left being happy for the care I received. This walk-in clinic is worth visiting if you're in the area and need a place to go for any urgent care matter. read more

This urgent care facility had been very clean, quick and easy I had ever been too. That's why loved this place very much. I went on a weekend and the waiting hall was crammed with people. I thought it would take several hours of waiting before I could see the doctor. But kudos to their staffs for efficiency and quickness shown in serving patients. As I entered the front desk girl greeted me and I filled out some light paperwork. She asked me to wait for a moment in the waiting room. It was very clean with nice arrangements for patients like cable T.V, books and magazines to read. Within a few moments a nurse came and asked me some questions and told the doctor would be in shortly. The doctor came in and he asked me about my concern. After a brief conversation he did a thorough medical examination and wrote up a prescription. I wanted to clear about some doubts and I really felt like he took his time to answer my queries. This urgent care exceeded my expectation by their patient friendly service. My mom needed to have seen for her strep and I took her to this walk-in clinic. Her strep was no joke and their service and care was on top of it. It was evening 7 pm when we reached here and I saw one lady was checking out at the moment. The receptionist greeted us and asked to wait for a few minutes. In the meantime, my mom filled out the paper works and they took her insurance detail. The doctor (I couldn't remember her name) was thorough and knowledgeable. She made my mom feel very comfortable. She had a wonderful bedside manner and listened to my mom's concern carefully. Her care and compassion left her feeling much better and the prescription she provided at the end (that they filled on site) helped her to get on the way to recovery. Their staff is very professional and the doctor was competent too. The Clinic is clean and had all the facilities for proper diagnosis so that you can get everything without going elsewhere. It was a hard time for me as i was suffering from bad cough and my family doctors was out of city. I was scared of developing Asthma and immediately rushed to urgent care after left without treating for three days. I arrived the clinic at 9 A.M on Wednesday and got in. Gone through the smooth registration process and called in to see the doctor within five minutes, The nurse who is attended me was very professional and she asked some questions about my health before i was able to see the doctor. Dr Hatem was very skilled and efficient. First, he asked me a few questions and prescribes a set of test. It was performed carefully by the nurse completed within a few minutes. Finally, he came with a solution and prescribed some medicines to clear up the allergic infection that was causing trouble. It took me almost half hour in between check in and check out from the clinic. I was amazed with their professionalism, care and the way of diagnosis. From the girl who I met in reception to the doctor who I am thankful to, everyone was very nice and super friendly. read more

First there were the basics, an amazing location near Lombard Circle and its convenient hours (many other clinics I checked closed much earlier than Doctors immediate care.) Then the following events truly impressed me. When we arrived, we filled out some paperwork and were seen in about 8 minutes. The doctor was friendly and professional (certified for emergency medical situations). After the exam, a prescription was given in case my mother's cold got worse and an additional test for strep throat was also taken. Overall, the experience was efficient, yet thorough, while caring at the same time. The cost of $110 is reasonable considering the level of care and service. Our worries left us as we headed back out into the intense bustle of Lombard City. If you're traveling and need to see a doctor in near Chicago, DIC has, without a doubt, earned its high star rating. I had been to this urgent care after having a fall by loosing balance. I had injured my ankles and it swelled hurting too much to stand on. My friend accompanied me to their walk-in clinic. We arrived by 10 A.M and parked my car at the CONVENIENT parking place they provided around the corner. We checked into their clinics and got registered after filling the paper works. They have flat screen TVs, beverages and comfortable sofas for waiting patients. After 10 min wait, a nurse came and she ushered me to x-ray room. They had digital x-ray on the spot and it was done within a few minutes. the kind and courteous x-ray boy took his time to make the process easy and comfortable for me. Later, I was seen by Doctor Syed and his beside manner made me instantly feel at ease with him. They brace up my ankle and ended up with the best possible care they could do. I drove off from their clinic in less than an hour. Overall my experience was satisfactory. Their staffs were accommodating and nice. read more

I passed by Doctors Immediate Care many times, because my home is near to this clinic. I walked into this place on Jan-2014 for my arm pain. This was my personal experience: Directly I went to the reception, because nobody is there to invite you at the door. I explained my problem to a nurse After few minutes, Nurse took me to their Doctors Cabin Doctor invited me with a smile and very politely I was started explaining about my arm pain to him, he was not interrupted me and he is listening carefully He lift my hand and told me that this is a small problem, don't worry about it He just wrote some medicine and one ointment I left that place within few minutes. My arm pain was gone after two days as he said. But, I felt they charged little more what I was expected. Every Urgent Care is charging like that I guess. Overall, I was impressed with this place except the pretty slim parking area that was little troublesome. I got in at about 10 am and there were three more patients who came before me. The receptionist greeted and asked me to fill some papers. She let me know that I have to wait for a few minutes as they were busy. I had to wait about ten minutes before I got to see a doctor. The doctor was thorough and had a wonderful bedside manner. She looked at my sprained ankle and asked the nurse to take an X-ray. The professional and courteous X-ray boy did his job perfectly. Luckily I didn't have any broken bone but they prescribed me a boot to wear for the injury. The clinic was spotless and they didn't have any lack of facilities for onsite diagnosis. Their staff seemed professional and charges were also reasonable despite my insurance provider was not in their network. This would be my preferred place for any urgent care related issue. read more

I went to this urgent care after a horrible cough that troubled me for 3 days and I could not resist myself being treated by a doctor. I went online for local urgent care and found this website. Decided to give it a try and It was evening 7 pm I was there with my cousin. From the receptionist to the doctor I found this clinic convenient, accommodating and affordable. I got to see the doctor within 10 minutes of my arrival. Doctor Hatem was a very friendly person and his bedside manner was amazing that made me feel relaxed and comfortable. He didn't make the process rush and explained everything thoroughly I wanted to know about my health. My prescription was sent to the local pharmacy that found ready for pick up. Doctor Hatem also reminded me of a FREE follow up if I don't get well within two days of using medications. This was the Sunday evening and I ended my weekend being treated the strep throat I was suffering from last two days. This walk-in clinic staffs are very courteous. I reached on the appointed time and the receptionist, I forgot to catch her name but she was very attentive, asked me to fill the necessary information. No sooner it was completed I was ushered by a nurse to another room. She took my vitals and I waited for five minutes to be seen by the doctor. Doctor Amir came and started his medical process. After a careful examination of my throat explained the solution had me feeling much better and on my way to recovery. His bedside manner was impressive to make anyone feel comfortable. The clinic was clean and spotless and everyone knew their duties very well. These guys are really doing well and I would make them my primary care if I needed to. However, this time around, my back-to-school cold turned into a debilitating cough, so after reading the positive reviews of Doctors Immediate Care Lombard, I decided to give it a try to try get some relief. I came around 1:00 and was seen almost immediately (only a 10-minute wait), first by a sweet nurse whose name I forget, and then by Dr.Razak. He was super nice, listened to my symptoms, and prescribed me a cough syrup and antibiotics. I have never been to a doctor that was so quick but thorough at the same time! I would definitely recommend Doctors Immediate Care Lombard to anyone who needs a quick exam and quick relief from an illness. I even received a follow phone call to see how I was feeling. My mom needed to see a doctor right away when she had cut her finger. It was 7 in the evening and we found this walk-in clinic on the web relatively near to my area. To confirm first I called up and they told they could take my mom in. Headed to their clinic and checked in. The receptionist was polite and she had me fill out some paper works. Then a nurse took my mom to another room where doctor Humaira treated her injury. Everything from cleaning the cuts to stitches and shots were done carefully by their staff. The nurses were very kind and throughout the procedures they proved their efficiency. Doctor Humaira was personable and caring in her approach. She made my mom feel very comfortable while bandaging her injury. This urgent care seems to have a competent staff and professional physician. I've been coming to this office for 6 months and wouldn't be going anywhere else. The staff is friendly, my pcp is great. Even with my last visit I didn't get to see my pcp the doctor that was here was kind and answered all the questions I had. I keep seeing all these negative reviews and don't understand if these people are visiting the same office or not. If you don't want to wait forever make an appointment. Yes this is an immediate care clinic and they take walk-ins, but that's why there's always a wait. If you don't want to wait just make an appointment and arrive early. The reason there's usually a wait is because the doctors here take care of their patients and make sure everyone leaves feeling better than they did before they walked in. A great tip: the earlier you come in the day, the less you have to wait. =) read more
