If we could give you 0 stars we would. From start to finish this was a terrible experience. Our reservation was set for 4:45, they were late. The driver pulled up with a broken headlight. Before getting in, we asked if they had the water and ice as they said they would have when we booked it, he responded rudely "no I don't have ice, wasn't told to have any. We will have stop and get some." So he made us stop at a 7-eleven to get ice. When we got into the limo, it was dirty and filled with garbage from the previous occupants. Empty bottles, cups and food. The cup holder had about an inch of dirty food water sloshing around in it. So much so that we didn't even want to put our cups in is because then the nasty water could get on us when taking the cup out. They don't clean before they pick up new customers! Their radio antenna was terrible and couldn't connect to the radio without a static noice, so while at the, 7-eleven we had to buy a aux cord to even listen to music. When we asked for him to put the divider up, he pressed the button to raise it and the thing just started shaking trying to get up. It was broken to the point where the driver asked us to pull it up while he pressed the button. When I called to make a formal complaint, the manager stated he spoke to the driver and the driver is denying all claims and accusations. Well sir I'm smart and I take pictures and videos when we have service like this. Even after submitting the proof, they would only give us a $30 discount off the $270 they charged us for a 1 way 1 hr ride. If I was coming from my wedding reception, or getting this limo to take my significant other to dinner and propose and this limo picked me up I swear I would have gone off. But we had a work event with the Chicago tribune where unlike those place we won top place to work in Chicago and couldn't risk being late to the event. Do not book with them. Rude management. Such a bad service not professional, we made a reservation at 2pm to pick up is from hard rock hotel to the O'Hare Airport. At 2.05pm no one show up yet so I called to the office 312-265-6322 and the lady said wait a min, she called driver to ask where he is. Then she said he gonna be there just 2-3 mins, I said ok no problem. Then 2.15pm no one show up yet I called them again. The lady pick up the phone and hang up. I called another time this time she said please hold. So I decided not to wait for her after I whole few mins. She give me a call back 2.20pm oh I'm sorry, the limo had an accident, and offer me a free ride but She told me to wait for another 30 mins. Not professional. Not arriving before not arrive on time. Such a worst service. I would rate 0 star if I can. Can't rely on. Never get a ride if you need to go to the airport or somewhere that you can't wait. We had an important client coming and arranged a car service for them and set it up to be prepaid to our card. Upon arrival the client was told , it was not paid and he had to provide a card and was charged. But then on the return he was not asked for a card and ours was charged. We did not find out any of this till after the trip was complete when we only received one receipt and verified with the cient, who then advised us he was charged. Both reservations made at the same time, so how does this happen. Well I called to find out and got nothing but excuses and incomplete answers. Too many other options out there, will use someone else next time. I don't need to be made to look the fool again with our clients. read more

We had tried to rent from another company but never heard back so called Chicago Limos Inn because of their Yelp rating. We arrived on our plane at O'Hare, picked up our luggage and headed to the area for Sedans & limos. We called the service and they immediately asked if we had gotten our bags first We told them yes and that we were already waiting at the curb. They wanted to know if we were in the right area. Many times we assured them we were in the correct area. 20 minutes later our car finally arrives. The driver called out our name and we headed for the car. He seemed to have trouble keeping the trunk open and had to hit the button a few times. When we got into the car, he checked with us to make sure he had the correct destination, then said NOTHING the remainder of the ride. We did hit traffic, but we always use sedan service when we travel and have never had this type of service. The car was a little worn and needed some cleaning as we could see areas where oil from hands collects. We also were not offered bottles of water, which is normally customary. At arrival at our hotel he finally spoke to ask for our credit card and told us the total which was the agreed upon amount. BUT when he handed us the ticket to sign, he said "you can fill out the amount and then sign the receipt". Excuse me? The total agreed upon already had a tip. Did he think he deserved another one? He unloaded our luggage on the curb (not in front of the hotel, but the restaurant next door) then just got in the car and took off. No thank you or anything. Maybe he was having a bad day? I don't know, but we will not use this service again. I have been told that "UBER" is a better service. read more

I had a reservation for a 31 passenger bus for Saturday. I had paid my deposit. I received a call the Wednesday before to say that the 31 passenger bus was no longer available, but they could send me two 14 passenger vans instead. I'm losing three seats, but I was trying to be agreeable, bc frankly on a few days notice, what choice do I have? Then she told me the two vans (with fewer seats) would be $100 more. I asked why she was charging me more when I had a reservation and had paid a deposit. Her response - it's not her fault there was a problem with the bus. Well it's certainly not mine. Don't use Chicago Limos Inn. Go somewhere that at least attempts to honor your reservation that you secured with a deposit. read more

I had a terrible experience with this company on my wedding day. When I first called and asked about the price (after having given ALL of the details about time, number of passengers, etc) the receptionist told me the price would be $135. In the time it took me to get out my credit card, she said it was $155 and that I had misunderstood her the first time around. I didn't argue because I was already so stressed out about all the other wedding details I needed to take care of the same day. The day of the wedding, the driver was incredibly rude and uncourteous. When we reached our destination (the church) we were a few minutes early and I asked if we could sit in the limo for a short while so that the guests wouldn't see me. He told me that this was not in the contract and that he had other places to be. So we swung around to the back parking lot of the church so that I could enter the church through the alley, essentially (lovely, I know). This maneuver took about 2 additional minutes and when we got out, he said "That will be $189." Mind you, this did not include tip. I'm not a petty person. I will not call them to argue about this just to get some pocket-change back. But I just wanted to warn others about this company. The other reviewer seems to have gotten a wonderful experience, but I wouldn't want someone else to take that gamble on their special day. read more

Don't Use the Website! I booked a New Years Eve reservation online. The confirmation email came back with a price of $102 instead of the $66 quoted on the website. I had to call, leave a message, and get a call back (which was only about 5 minutes) in order to cancel. When El called me back, he said "We'll cancel that reservation; we don't have any cars" -- even though they had just confirmed my reservation! They cancelled quickly -- which was really the only good thing about the experience. read more

We waited 30 mins and eventually they offered us a free ride if we wait for another 30 mins!!! That would be an hour wasted and we had a flight to catch! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!--They almost ruined our son's wedding! We hired this livery company for our son's wedding in downtown Chicago June 24, 2017. We wanted a comfortable, stylish, and enjoyable experience for 30 valued guests. We also needed a separate large, "up-scale" SUV to transport the groom's party to the venue earlier that day. These seemed like typical and reasonable requests of a livery company, but this company distorted our concepts into a nightmare. We researched livery companies on the internet and settled on this firm based on its reviews. We made our first email inquiry in May. They responded with a quote of $295 for each leg of the trip in a minibus. We next called the company about 2 weeks prior to the wedding to firm up details. I spent about an hour on the phone explaining all our needs and visions, and they said I would receive a follow-up email specifying all options and photos of the vehicles. But the email we received 2 days later was simply a repeat of the quote of $295 per leg for a minibus. I called "Donna", who said she was the manager, and I had to repeat my whole story. She quoted me a price of $350 per leg in the minibus. I told her we had been quoted $295 per leg on two separate occasions, and in writing. Donna simply said that was a mistake, made by a "new person" and she stuck to the new, higher price. By now I was having doubts, but the wedding was rapidly approaching, and we said OK. She also indicated there was a "mandatory" 15% gratuity, which is not at all what "gratuity" means, but at this point I knew quibbling would be of no use. Donna then wanted a deposit for $170, which I gave on a credit card. We never once discussed cash payments. Three days prior to the wedding I called Donna to confirm pick-up and ensure that all would go smoothly. I emphasized I wanted this to run perfectly and seamlessly for the guests, and to be "elegant" in all respects. She confirmed and said to just pay the driver when he showed up at the venue. Again, there was NO MENTION of cash. On the BIG DAY, the minibus arrived at the previously planned location, but once all the guests were seated the driver asked for payment and demanded cash. No one from the wedding party was on this bus, so no one was expecting to pay anything. But the driver was steadfast that the bus would not move until he got paid, $500 in cash. A guest finally stepped up and engaged the driver in a discussion that soon turned into a loud argument heard by all the passengers. This guest finally called someone who represented himself as "the owner" of the company, who also demanded cash payment, and by all accounts the argument got even loader. Still the bus wasn't moving and the passengers were being held hostage. I was never called by the company, even though they clearly had my phone number and credit card information. Somehow, by offering his credit card and other entreaties, the guest convinced the driver he would be paid at the venue and the bus finally moved off and arrived safely at the venue. Now I got involved, even though my presence was required elsewhere, and the arguments began again in full force. The driver again demanded $500 in cash, and he refused to move his bus from the narrow street he was blocking. More importantly, he threatened to not return at 11 PM to pick up the guests. I offered my credit card, which had obviously been good enough for the deposit, but he kept repeating, "boss says only cash". Finally he agreed to take photos of the guest's credit card, front and back, offering no receipt. Imagine the identity risk! And this driver received his mandatory 15% "gratuity"! All this was terribly embarrassing and stressful. At a wedding, everything that happens is a reflection on the host. A loud argument with a bus driver, who was holding the passengers hostage, was a major stressor on an already anxious day. To this date, I have not received any receipts for any of our transactions with Limos Inn. I'm not even sure they didn't double bill that guest and myself! Subsequently, I offered the company the chance to discuss our issues with them but they were unapologetic, confrontational, defensive, and discounted our concerns and offered no real resolution. Donna even implied much of this was our fault because we should have expressed a willingness to pay more. Overall, our experience with this thoroughly reprehensible company was unpleasant and fraught with problems. The company was overall unprofessional and discourteous from start to finish; "owner", management, and drivers. So unless you want MORE stress, anxiety, embarrassment and potential identity theft at your important event, AVOID THIS COMPANY. read more

Driver did not show up when we needed to get to airport and claimed there was a mix up with the time - which cost us hundreds of dollars and lots of stress getting to the airport on time with 3 young kids. No one answered the phone that morning and they did not respond to my emails (sent the week before to confirm, then again the night before) and finally responded to me 3 hours after we were supposed to be picked up. The representative that I spoke with to told me I was lying about the car seats I had requested and would not have honored the quote they gave me anyway. I am not someone to complain about service even when it is bad, but Chicago limos Inn was the worst limo experience of my life. We booked them for my wedding day on September 6th, 2013. The limo driver showed up early and told one of my friends that we needed to hurry, because he is only getting paid for the hour and has to be somewhere else. Then we got into the limo and the a/c was practically pumping out warm air. Not a good start. the limo driver proceeded to the wedding which was in the city, and we were coming from the suburbs. He was going as fast as he could and weaving in and out of traffic on the highway, having a couple close calls. The only reason I didn't give one star is because he showed up to pick us up. I rented a limo to pick my husband and I up at the Midway Airport on Aug. 8th, 2015. He was 20 minutes late and the limo was trashed. Literally!! Mind you in the contract if you are late there is a fee but when I contacted the GM I was not offered any compensation for my time. I also emailed them pictures of the rolling dumpster and they did nothing!! I asked for a refund or at least half off and big surprise I got nothing. I had to role the windows down to keep from vomiting it stunk so bad. I will never use them again and I would not recommend anyone else waste their money. They charged my card when I made the reservation but then asked me for my card when they dropped me off and the driver didn't speak very good English. I hired this company to take a group of friends to Tinley Park for a show. We scheduled pick up at the Merchandise Mart - not a small building that is hard to find by any stretch. When they were 15 minutes late I called and was told they would check with the driver. They called back and said the driver was on his way and would be there in 5 minutes. After 15 more minutes (so we're now 30 minutes late) I call back and am told that the driver is sitting a few blocks away and we need to walk to him instead of him meeting us at the scheduled pick up location (super customer service). When we get to the driver he doesn't know where we are going and doesn't speak English so we have a hard time communicating with him. After providing him with the address we think we're good but put it into our phone gps just to be safe. When he starts going off course we have to make him pull over and physically take his gps from him and program the destination address in ourselves. As if we aren't already annoyed enough, he is a horrible driver!! He has four cell phones and is continually texting, swerving into the wrong lane, not watching the road and slamming on the gas and then the brake unnecessarily. I'm not usually a complainer but I called the company the following day to let them know that I was concerned for the safety of other passengers and quite frankly other drivers on the road and I wanted them to know I didn't think he should be driving in a professional capacity. I was told our driver had been "outsourced" from another company and she didn't know who he was but would look into it and get back to me. Shockingly, I never heard back. I could go into more details about how the champagne glasses in the limo were engraved with 2002 or how 8 of us could hardly fit in a limo said to seat 10 but you get the gist. All around my experience with them was bad. I will never use them again and would definitely not recommend them to anyone. read more
