I used Top Fleet and ordered a stretch hummer for our wedding. It was only a week or two before so it was last minute and I liked their price and response time. And their "Official Sponsor of the Chicago Cubs" status. We were promised non-alcoholic beverages, water and ice in a luxury professional vehicle. What we got was a party bus (not a stretch hummer), that came with no beverages and no ice. There was a bathroom, but when a girl in our wedding party went to open the door the entire vehicle filled with a smell of sewage. The driver was pretty good, that's the best thing I can say. I called and talked to a sales associate after our honeymoon to get some sort of explanation and compensation. He promised to return my call and never did. Worst car company ever. If you're not the Chicago Cubs, or dropping a ton of money, they don't care about you. I had a pick up with them not long ago, with a confirmation number. Driver never showed and I had to scramble for an Uber. Total disregard for the panic they induce when they don't show, forcing me to scramble for a plan B. They cry about losing business to taxi and ride share companies, but at least they are dependable. This is not the first time they whiffed, either. So, three strikes, they're OUT. THE BEST. This was my first time to Chicago and I was in need for a bus to accommodate 35+ clients to and from our hotel to Wrigley Field. As you can imagine, the anxiety was high to find an exceptional company to follow through especially in an unfamiliar state with no prior recommendations. We were a full house with standing room only and only received GREAT feedback on the bus. Jim was our driver and was the best. They hand held me through the whole process and made me feel like a close friend or family member. Top Fleet also provided any beverages of our preference including alcoholic drinks. I was a little concerned about how it would end up because my flight was 30 min late and then it took forever for our bags to even come up at baggage claim. I had asked for a 4:45 pick up and I didn't even have my bags til 5:40, so I was wondering how the driver would handle this. I was totally impressed with the driver, the car and his service. He was very polite and professional and the car was in immaculate condition. Most of all, I was thankful that he was there still waiting for me at my pick up spot, despite the fact that I was so late. Last weekend we got a party bus to get back to the city from a concert at Allstate Arena.  The weather was absolutely awful and pouring rain.  The driver went above and beyond and picked us at a location where we would not get wet and had an umbrella for us to use to stay dry.  The party bus was very clean and to be honest was maybe the best part of the night (after seeing The Chainsmokers). The driver was very accommodating and he even made a couple extra stops to let people off at a different location than our original planned destination.  I would definitely use them again and would recommend Tom Fleet Inc to all my friends! read more

We got married back in April and following my awesome birthday experience, we booked Top Fleet for our wedding party bus. I'm so happy that we did. Their prices were totally fair, especially as compared with other companies. Not to mention yet again, the vehicle they picked us up in looked to be brand spanking new. It was my wedding day so I didn't stop to ask the driver the age of the bus, but it was in perfect condition, sparkling clean, and super fun inside. And might I add, I looked amazingly beautiful in my wedding dress in that dope party bus. I liked that for a small additional fee we were able to give them our drink order and they stocked the bus with all the alcohol, water and pop that we wanted. One less thing for me to mess with. They were cool about us bringing food on the bus (a girls gotta eat, ya know?). Additionally, just for reference, we had 15 passengers on the bus and we fit just fine in addition to a cooler of drinks, the girls' "getting ready" bags and winter coats (it was early April and still pretty chilly), and 2 big bags of food. We had Top Fleet pick us girls up at my house and take us over to the church, whereas the boys got ready at the hotel and made their own way over to the church. When the driver arrived at my house he was 15 minutes early (which made me a very happy bride- I'd had nightmares about the party bus just not showing up and us girls having to call Uber for a lift). But no- he was early and he was kind enough to schlep the food into the bus for us. Much appreciated as I didn't need to kick off my wedding day with food dripping down the front of my white dress. During photos between the church and reception the driver was more than patient and accommodating and didn't blink an eye when photos went a few minutes past our agreed upon timeframe. He was also really cool with the number of stops we made the poor guy make. He was totally chill when, on the way to the church, I sat in the back of the bus screeching that OMG I'm GETTING MARRIED! I'M GETTING MARRIED! He acted as though every bride he drives around town does that. I used Top Fleet Limo for my fiance's birthday celebration and was incredibly impressed. I filled out an online quote request and in less than 10 minutes I received a personalized email from Ryan with a very reasonable quote. I had some questions prior to booking and Ryan responded to each question incredibly fast. Upon booking, I received a confirmation email with all the details and pricing of my reservation. On the day of, I got a call a half an hour before my pick up time from the driver, who introduced himself and explained where he would be parked and that we could come down early if we wanted to. When we came down, the driver (Bruce) was incredibly friendly, taking pics of our whole group in front of the limo, showing me how to plug in my phone for music, and encouraging us to use the champagne flutes on board. The limo (an SUV limo designed to fit 14) itself was really nice, clean and new looking. Bruce returned on time to pick us up from the restaurant at the end of the night. Top Fleet Inc. was so responsive when I was researching services for a group event . Ryan (owner) responded very quickly to my request and answered all my questions as well. Top Fleet, Inc was selected for our group event that was held Wednesday evening (8/27/14). Bruce was our driver. Bruce was dressed in a nice suit, arrived early, introduced himself to me and let me know the plan for the night. The car was a new dark, Lincoln SUV stretch. Interior was very clean. White wine, beer and water was chilling for our guests. A cooler with also available in the trunk as well. It was perfect, as we had food items from our event that needed to be chilled. The ride was scenic - from Roosevelt Road going East to Lake Shore Drive and finally our destination Navy Pier. All the guests were comfortable in the car. We enjoyed our drinks and pizza along the the drive to see the fireworks at Navy Pier. Bruce sent me a reminder text to let me know where the car would be when our party was ready to return back. The ride back to the restaurant was smooth. Once we arrived, Bruce removed all our packages in the trunk. Bruce is friendly and a very professional. My Manager was pleased with the service. I used Top Fleet for a wedding recently. Five friends and I needed to get back into the city from the Western Suburbs from a wedding that ended at 1:00 am. Pros: The driver was about ten minutes early and had a really nice suburban that could accommodate all six of us. He had no problem waiting. I booked a week in advance and got a good rate considering we had four drop offs and a late-pick up. $144 total. Cons: The driver got pulled over for speeding (65 in a 55 I believe). It added about 10 minutes to our trip and frustration for 6 people who had been drinking at a wedding for 5 hours. The cop gave him a warning and let him go. In my mind, not a big deal, but a professional livery driver should exercise a little more caution. The bigger con in my mind, and the reason I will not give 5 stars, is that the service billed my credit card $144 at the time I made the reservation and then they billed me $144 again the day of the reservation. I had to call in to have this corrected, which is completely unacceptable. The guys said it was a software problem. I believe him, but... ***fix you F'INGsoftware so it does not steal from your customers*** Thankfully it was refunded within a day, and I did not have to call back. Anyways, it's a bullshit problem for a customer to have to catch and have corrected. Otherwise, I think this is a high quality, dependable car service that is also affordable. $144 for a suburban beats the absurd prices that all the other services quoted (generally $20 for an after midnight pick up and $20 for each additional drop off after the first). In general, whatever car service you use, always call the day of to confirm, and always make sure in the few days after that you were charged correctly, since it's always done on the phone. Our business used Top Fleet services to pick up our out of town guest from ORD and drop them off at a hotel in the south loop. I had spoken with Ryan and asked to have our guest communicate directly with the driver. Our guest where happy to have the ability to speak with their driver once they landed and they informed me that they arrived at their destination without any delays. The next morning I called the driver to assure a timely arrival and he arrived at the hotel to pick up our guest on time. The same driver dropped our guest at our office at the Civic Opera building and waited out front to take our guest to various locations within the city of Chicago. The driver was dressed professional, curious, and prompt. The vehicle was clean and stocked with cold water. We where happy with the service and pricing, I have also used this service for personal use departing and arriving from ORD. Departing the driver arrived as scheduled. For the pick -up our flight came in early and the driver ran a little late as expected when traveling on our expressways. I was happy to sit with my family and enjoy the ride home in a comfortable clean limo. Tomorrow I have contracted Top- Fleet to take my Aunt and her caretaker to the dentist in the south Loop and back. Top Fleet is a good alternative sometimes it is best to let the professional's drivers battle the rush hour traffic. I would highly recommend Top Fleet. read more

My husband arranged limo service to treat my sister and I to a great night out at a concert. The car itself was cute and well maintained. Mike, the driver, made us feel very welcome and gave us an orientation to the dials, heat, lighting etc in the back so that we could ride downtown in style. He dropped us off right at the front entrance despite yelling from the parking attendants that he couldn't stop there (but it was a cold night and he didn't want us to walk too far!) For pickup it was a little harder to coordinate due to many roads being blocked off but Mike was very easy to reach by cell phone to coordinate a pick up location. Car was warm and ready when we hopped in. We were happy to find water bottles to drink as our throats were hoarse from screaming. :) Overall this company was easy to work with, driver was easy to reach and communicate plans with. Nickeled and dimed. I rented a bus for a wedding on 4/20/17, and coming from out of town, the service in getting it all set up was really pretty good. In fact, because my guest list was nearing the max limit of the bus, I was offered an extra bus "at no charge" to help out. The buses were on time and the drivers were just fine. The problems were the extra charges that were later added in. I was called about the time of the scheduled pick up from the hotel (of course, in the middle of taking care of last second wedding details) and I understood that the bus was going to be late to the venue due to traffic. At no time do I recall being asked to pay overtime for a driver to wait longer for extra passengers who had not yet boarded as I was very specific about pickup and departure times for the bus. I was a charged an extra $197+ for this waiting time. Then, for the return trip to the hotel, we had arranged for an early and a late pick up from the venue. When the first bus arrived for pickup about 30 minutes early, some of the wedding guests, who were ready to depart, saw the bus and boarded. I was charged another $197+ for this early pick up, again without any authorization for this extra charge. The explanation that was given to me was that the driver had to stop his lunch break early. Again, the wedding guests could have easily waited inside the venue until the driver was off his break. Despite being willing to compromise and pay one of the charges in case there had truly been a miscommunication, they were not willing to negotiate. I was only offered a $100 credit for future use (being from out of town, of course, something I would never be able to use) in exchange for a good yelp review. Instead, I'm issuing a "let the buyer beware" warning. The service was good, but boy, you will sure pay for it!! I will NOT use them again. read more

We had Top fleet limo as our limo service for our fall wedding in downtown Chicago and we had a great experience. The limo they provided for our wedding party was big and spacious. The drivers were friendly and accommodating. They were prompt to arrive at our hotel. The chartered bus we rented for our out-of-town guests was clean and well-kept. The only issue we had was that the speakers in the wedding party limo was not working. Where should I start....the first year our bus broke down 10 mins away from Miller Park on the highway at 10 pm at night, leaving many from our group on the side of the road for an hour in the nice summer heat. the driver left the original bus on hoping to get some sort of AC working - an AC that did not work the entire way to Milwaukee. Wonderful. This year was supposed to be different. ordered a brand new party bus, less people, smaller bus. i was the vehicle would fit 42 people (with text to back that up). it does not fit 42 people. infact there's signage on the door that clearly says 38 people. i made arrangements in April and was quoted a discounted price. there was never a confirmation email or follow-up. And even when i emailed there was never a response. This is April, our trip was at the end of July. So I speak with the organization 2 times prior to our event 2 weeks before, and 3 times on he day of the event, confirming the pick-up, the payment of cash for the rest of the balance, and the payment before we leave for Milwaukee. the driver was tremendous and extremely helpful, and we had a great ride despite the limited seating and the bottom footstep being broken on arrival. we arrive before 5pm, its not until 7 that i get another urgent call informing me that the price I was quoted and given (and paid) was not the final total and that they needed $400 more. Now our trip last year - bigger bus, more seats, etc, was $700 less than this much smaller party bus, which i found very interesting in the beginning, but i digress.....i responded to the guy who called that i had not received a different price other than the one told to me at any point, nor had a I received any email or receipts, or any correspondence from the organization, let alone any type of notification of a price change. even more i had spoken with them several times before we even got on the bus or left for our trip - why would we be allowed to leave if we still owed money and your policy is payment in full? Plus why would no one mention a price change? I specifically asked that we discuss the matter Monday and that they had my card of file and we could invoice whatever the difference would be when we spoke then, but the organization insisted that payment be made immediately or the driver would leave our group (who btw was already in Miller park watching the game) they would approve the driver leaving us in Milwaukee. nevermind we had just given this company over $1400 or that we had used hem previously. nevermind that our entire group was watching a baseball game nor that he had my card on file and could be charged at any point on Monday once we discussed everything over a receipt. no, they claimed they sent emails, and receipts, which is a boldface lie, and that there was nothing they could do and we could not get back on the bus without another $400 being paid. awesome. as someone who works in the customer service industry and knows good customer service, this is easily the worst ive ever been treated. you dont hold your customers hostage. you dont threaten your customer. what occurred at that moment was absolutely disgusting and unprofessional and will never use his company again for any trip or business. and i will recommend to my manager and company (who routinely uses bus companies and has partnerships with bus services) that we never go anywhere near this company ever again as well. Ryan may be a good guy and they have quality drivers and service, but whats happening on the other side of their business is deplorable. As my card was already at the max paying for much of the items for the trip my gf had to use her credit card to cover the $400 - and she wasnt even on the trip! we've already spoken to her grandfather/lawyer Sam for any potential charges that may occur on her card or another price charge that may randomly appear because of this entire saga. read more
