This is our new favorite to go place! The food is delicious and plentiful! Flavor is the key and it was perfect. The platter comes with a big Greek salad rice and yummy unleavened bread. There was so much gyro meat that it made a sandwich the next day. The rice is moist and lightly seasoned. The kabob platter came with the same sides and had plenty of chicken. There's many reasons to like Chicago Style Gyros. Really good gyros, easy parking and super nice people behind the counter. I don't get here as often as I would like but firmly believe they have the best gyros in the GR area. There is a also pretty comprehensive menu that includes other wraps, sandwiches and salads but I come here for the great gyros. Prices are reasonable, food is great and staff is nice. Stopped by due to the yelp reviews... Had the Chicago gyro combo... phenomenal is the word. So damn good. Only thing I wish they had was homemade pita bread. But the bread they have is still good. The fries are really seasoned well and are very tasty. Also my wife had a gyro dinner which she also equally thought was great. Comes with a salad and rice w the gyro meat as well as bread. Also a hot dog for my youngest who scarfed it down. And to top it off baklava. Wow was it good. Certainly getting it again. Service was friendly and nice. Prices are affordable. The service was quick and the people working are super friendly! They also had masks on! The gyro was fantastic, and the fries were seasoned perfectly. My bf and I both got the gyro combo and hummus delivered for lunch today and I am currently typing this while fighting off a food coma. The gyros were SO good, the meat was not dry and the portions are huge; definitely have another meal out of it. The humus comes with freshly made pita and is definitely a generous portion, also super good. The fries with the gyro combo were well seasoned. We got a side of tzatziki sauce each (I think it was like $1 extra) and it was also super good!! I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a good, reasonably priced meal that will definitely provide you with leftovers! read more

I have been going to CSG for several years with a co-worker or 2 usually at least once or twice a month. Artise and Ness took over from their aunt and uncle and do a great job with both quality and presentation of their food. Their aunts rice recipe is incredible and I recommend it instead of fries. I usually either get the gyro combo or the gyro salad. Ingredients are very fresh with a great variety. The gardenia is a great finish to either. Have also had the steak sandwiches that were very satisfying. For something different the loaded fries are fantastic but show up hungry. read more

The great things about the gyro is that it's wrapped perfectly to place in your cup holder when you're driving and it stays together well in its paper wrapping, and it's soooooo yummy.
