Love those sox. First thing I go to thousands of games so I know everything. The parking is great. U can't get a bigger parking lot than that then food is great. There's not a bad seat . Great job by the desiners and the only promblome is most of the fans. A guy will do awsome and cheer than the next time he does somthing wrong they boo . I came to watch the Yankees play the White Sox, and the overall experience was pretty good. The stadium has a more contemporary/modern feel compared to Wrigley, which feels very traditional/charming. Different people will have different preferences, but I like the charm of Wrigley better. (Of course, nothing beats good ol' Yankee Stadium in my eyes.) There's a fair bit of variety at the food and beer stands, and things are a little pricey, though that's to be expected at a ball park. Very accessible by mass transit. The employees were also very nice and friendly. read more

Very nice stadium. The Xfinity bar is very cool. And I spent half the game there. Of course the food and beverages are expensive. I ordered a chicken breast sandwich and the breast was tiny and dry. The bread was way too thick and not all that fresh.i was walking on crutches and the Stadium was very accommodating, providing a wheelchair and escort. They even upgraded our seats. read more

The new ballpark is completely devoid of any personality. In the day and age of new stadiums, this one fits the bill. Flat screen t.v.'s in the club area, jumbotron, new concession stands, and nearly every seat is a good one. Not much to do after the game in the area, but it's close to publc transportation. read more

Go White Sox! Last year was rough, but next year should be better. No longer live near Chicago, but try to make away games close to home. No matter how far I live from Chicago, the Sox will always be my team. Attending a game at US Cellular is a better deal than going to a game at Wrigley Field due to fact that ticket prices are cheaper and there is more parking is available. Plus, with the exception of last year, you'll probably find a better team playing on the field than on the North side. read more

Being that Chicago is just a home for me this summer, I don't have a passionate attachment to any team here but a group of my friends and I went to a White Sox game on saturday and although it wasn't my cup of tea, it was a great form of entertainment for a group of people. We all got Patio tickets, which included endless amounts of food (chicken, hamburgers, hotdogs, ect.) and Drinks. My husband and I visited the stadium last week. Completely different experience there than what we were expecting- we did not start out with high hopes perhaps because of the location? I'm not sure why we were so biased... BUT loved the friendly staff, the variety of concessions, the park itself, and the seating. We don't think there is a bad seat in the place! Even had the experience of a foul ball hit right beside us to a loyal fan who... wait for it... got the ball and did not spill his beer! I wasn't sure where to go to send an e-mail expressing my gratitude for the experience I had tonight at the game. I took my 6 six year old nephew to his first baseball game. Like me, he has chosen the right side and become a Sox fan. I was beyond stressed when it started raining today because I feared his first game would be ruined. To my happy surprise your staff tonight helped to ensure that his first baseball game would be one he would always remember. We sat in Section 148 Row 2. When we arrived your staff was so friendly and helpful! They wiped off our seats, took our pictures and made the cold rainy day an exciting one for a little boy. We went to get hot dogs and when we came back the woman working in between Section 148 and 149 had a 1st game certificate for him with his name spelled correctly! I was beyond amazed and thankful as his eyes lit up. While we were waiting for the game to start he was getting impatient with the delay. The field security gentleman was so awesome with him teaching him that "baseball is where you learn patience". (He recited this to me in the car on the way home). The gentleman promised him the first foul ball as he too was so amazing in getting him excited for his first game. As the game started we moved seats because he couldn't see from all the tall adults in front of us. The fans around us were awesome in helping to get him pumped and making his first game an exciting one. In the third inning Alexie hit a foul ball in our area. A fan in the first row of Section 147 got the ball and gave it to him. Seriously, could the game get any better! He was so excited, he wouldn't let go of the ball even as his hands were pretty frozen at this point. The entire section cheered for him and the two security gentlemen in our are both came over and made it a huge deal that he got a ball at his first game. The smile on his face was priceless and one that I will always remember. I figured it couldn't get better but it did. The young man working Customer Service in between section 147 and 148 had come down at one point and I asked him if there was hot chocolate being sold tonight. Within minutes there was a man that came around with hot chocolate! The young man came was back later in the game and asked if the hot chocolate had come around for us. How amazing?! I can't even begin to tell you how great I felt tonight being a loyal White Sox Fan. I never needed a reason because quite honestly the stadium is my happy place and being there is always a great experience. Tonight though, tonight your staff recruited a 6 year old that will surely now be a fan for life. I wish I had gotten all of their names because truly I want all four to be recognized for how awesome they were! None of them had to go out of their way but they all did and I will forever be a grateful fan for that! Working in retail management I am too familiar with all of the complaints that come with unhappy customers. Hunter Thompson once said "having a favorite baseball team is like having a favorite oil company" Well I guess in chicago we have two different favorite oil companies . I won't try to woo( no pun intended) anyone over whom isn't a fan or (gasp) a cubs fan, cause I know it won't happen. The franchise and team are iconic to the southside and it's lore. The park itself is mediocre, but they constantly making improvements to it's facade and interior. Many out of towners remark at the lack of entertainment surrounding the park, but then *again what are you there for? I once heard someone say that they don't like comiskey( yeah i said it, it's comiskey) because there's no good looking women around, it's strange because I thought you went to the ball park to watch the game not the women, anyways. It's easy o get there with both public transit and parking available. The food and booze prices are horrendous as with any other professional sports game. I recommend the kosher poilsh with grilled onions and mustard, plus look for the beers around the world stand on the 100 level left field. Why not pay 25 cents more for a better beer? Do yourself a favor and see a ball game. read more

It's sad when a rebuild team cancels its game and no one can give us a refund or new tickets all gates were closed but we're not closed to take our money people took a day off from work to see millionaires play a kids game to be Rained out and no one can give us a simple answer to get new tickets just to see our favorite team play, we bought 10 tickets waisted over $1000 to see the Chicago white sox play for a rained out game and to us we feel like we've been robed that is SAD!!! read more

My wife's family from overseas wanted to see professional baseball, I bought tickets well in advance, we drove downtown on a Friday night only to find out that the tickets were for Thursday night the day before. I was told to go to the main ticket office and once there I spoke to a person by the name of Mr. Oz (no kidding). He said let me see what I can do, for no additional charge he allowed me to use the previous nights tickets. Quite candidly I was totally relieved, the night turned out to be a great night for baseball, and all ended well, thank you Mr. Oz for helping me out in a rough spot and creating a lasting memory for my wife and here family. read more

Yes I know that in Chicago, you either have to be a Chicago Cubs or Chicago White Sox fan, but I think I am only one of how many people in Chicago that is proud to say that I am not a fan of either baseball team. The Chicago White Sox seem to be a lost cause this season, it seems lately that they can not even beat the Detroit Tigers, that you think would stink, but they are doing better, but have had some other winning seasons at least since 2006, but they have never been higher then 2nd place. Or finished higher then 2nd place, but most importantly back to the Chicago White Sox. Their manger Ozzie Guillen might seem like he has given up or doesn't look like he knows what he is doing now. But either way they need a change in mangers. I don't know who they should hire if Ozzie does leave, or let alone could even care who they get. it is great that they do Elvis night in August right around August 16th, depending on the date chosen each year, but personally I am not sure how much % wise of Chicago White Sox fans are fans of Elvis Presley, but that is a good survey question for you to do on your own time. On TV broadcasts they have Ken "Hawk" Harrelson and Steve Stone, who also did Chicago Cubs games on TV with first Harry Caray and later on his grandson Chip Caray. That of course after Harry's death, but I like to know what the heck that they did to Steve Stone, for what I remember I don't remember him ever using a headset for Chicago Cubs games on TV, but more of a mike. On radio they have Ed Farmer and Darin Jackson who spent most of the 2000's in the booth with Ken Harrelson, in till mangement got the idea to put Steve Stone on TV, and offered his spot in the radio booth to him, and somehow he accpeted it and has been there since. I would think that if you are a Chicago White Sox fan, you are either drunk or a baby. And I do work with people that are Chicago White Sox fans, but in my own opinion they are only one of the two worst teams in Chicago baseball. read more
