My first reason for choosing them was their affordable fare. I arranged for them to pick me up at exactly ten o'clock, and they were there at exactly ten o'clock. They called me about a half hour before they arrived to tell me they were on their way. They arrived in a discreet car, a Cadillac to be exact. Our driver, Kim, was very polite, friendly, and professional. I would definitely recommend them and will definitely use them again if I need a ride.

Horrible Experience!!…read more Short Version: Did not get the limo we reserved, a different limo company was sent, charged an extra hour we didn't use, my credit card info was given to the other limo company without my consent, and when I spoke with Mike about my issues, he hung up on me Long Version: We hired Major Symphony for a funeral service. Specifically asked for a 14 passenger black limo, as it was for a funeral. Mike stated that there was a 1% chance we would get a white one I Now personally doubt he even has a black one because a white limo shoeed up from a different company. We got back 10 minutes past the 3 hour reserved time. Mike had told me that he would pro-rate any extra time. My credit card was charged 393 by Major Symphony and 131 by MM limousine for the extra hour. I never hired, provided, or authorized any other company to charge my Credit card. After trying to resolve this issue with Mike, he gave me the run around. I confronted him with proof that we were not in the limo for the extra hour and he hung up on me. When he called back he said the contract states he charges hourly, which trumps what he told me. He then told me if I wrote a bad review, he would sue me for slander. If you do hire Major Symphony, make sure you get everything in writing and read the fine print. If you get the 1% speech, know that your probably getting that 1%. Also that Major Symphony might not be picking you up and that your credit card info will be passed on to another company. When you call to dispute something, you will be met with ignorance. Too many other limousine companies, to deal with this one.

The thought of a cab ride for over an hour wasn't something I wanted to endure. John with S & S Limousine was requested to pick me up in less than an hour from the reservation being confirmed. He arrived right at the requested time. The Town Car was clean and comfortable. John offered to assist me with my bag and at my request, he placed it in the backseat so I could work on the hour drive across town. The front passenger seat was positioned fully forward to allow me extra room. Water was provided and a charging station for my iPhone was offered. The ride was uneventful and his driving was professional. Not once was I concerned about my safety. I'd highly recommend and if my travels include Chicago again, I'll call this company again.

The additional cost was well worth it. From the first phone call to Jo to the last call we made to reconfirm (which if I waited I would have received the txt message with confirmation) she made sure we would be taken care of. There was no contact ahead of time, I didn't get a text or message or call when I got off the plane, I had to call their 800 number to get help and the help was snappy and sloppy. They told me to go out door 3, and they rattled off the drivers name and license plate. When I commented that I hadn't gotten a text they said 'oh maybe the airplanes interfered' . There turned out to be about 4 door 3's, so I needed a letter in addition to a number to find the right one. Still no driver or contact info so I had to call back, and a different dispatcher was even snappier , telling me the driver was there. I asked how I would know tht and for the first time they said there would be a blue sign with a number in it. A few minutes later the driver did show up, but the whole unpleasant event cost about 45 minutes and a lot of aggravation. The driver himself and the car were nice, but the admin side means I would never use them again.

This morning however I took it to catch my flight to Midway. Why was I impressed? The train was clean (relatively speaking), b.o. free, and it didn't hit any notable slow zones. It was fairly empty when I rode it, but I think that's because all sensible people were in bed getting some shut eye. I reserve the right to change my opinion in the future, I mean it is the CTA and all. This ride could've been an anomaly. We'll see how I feel on my return ride home.
