This is an update based on the owner's response to my original review. She followed Yelps recommendation of starting off with an apology but then proceeded to make false statements and dismissed my concerns. She claims that the Mercedes Minivan was clean and in good condition. It was not and it was loud and uncomfortable. She also points to the "contract" which says they can exchange the promised car with one that is of the "same or greater seating capacity." I hired a car service - expecting at least a high end sedan. WARNING to potential customers, according to the owner of Midwest Coach "Limousine," they can provide an old station wagon if they want - according to their "contract" because all that matters to them is seating capacity, not the quality of the car provided. Bait and switch is not a good business approach. She also claimed that I did not call to tell them that my plane was delayed. This is not true. I called at 11:18 Eastern time and got voicemail. I left a 46 second message which included a request for a call back to confirm that they received my message. I called again at 12:03, 12:11, and 12:35 - each time getting voicemail. I never received a call back (I don't think I left messages these times other than once to ask for a call back). My flight was delayed less than 30 minutes and the driver told me that he knew the flight was delayed so to suggest that the driver had to wait 1 hr and 15 minutes is crazy making. Does this company serve the airports or not????? I have used many limo services in the past and have NEVER had this problem before. She thinks my online review was unjust - but clearly, her response to my concerns (and the fact that she refused to return ANY of my calls) demonstrates horrible customer service. I hired her company to support a local business. Clearly a huge mistake that I don't recommend anyone else make!!! read more

The bus was incredibly HOT, it was the middle of summer and the outside air felt cold compared to inside the bus. The problem with the AC was not fixed until multiple minors complained. The bus also reeked of smoke. Great radio system though. read more

Highly recommended. We took a party bus from lemont to downtown in a snowstorm. First they upgraded us from a limo to the party bus which was awesome. Driver was 5 star. Showed us how to hook phones to Bluetooth for music and how to run climate control etc... We originally booked one way since everyone was going to Uber home to different locations. On the way down we decided it was going to be impossible to find enough ubers from city to burbs in a blizzard at 1-2am. We called and asked if they could book the bus back. They did no problem. And the charge was about the same price as if we took an Uber SUV back. Again they were awesome The topper was when we got back to burbs I didn't have a ride home from where we all got dropped off. Couldn't get an Uber to get us home. The driver offered to let us wait in bus since it was snowing and bars were all closed so we had no where to hang out and wait. He called the office and asked if he could drive us home. The manager said no problem and didn't even charge us for the ride! It was only 10 minutes to my house but took about 20 in the blizzard. Driver was awesome. Dropped us off at my driveway and never complained. He had a long way to drive back in storm and it was now 2am but he still had smile on his face. Guy didn't even want to take a tip for his extra work. Can't recommend this place enough. Will be using them a bunch. If you have a group and going any distance the price will be a lot lower than a bunch of ubers. And it's a lot more fun in the bus than an uber. Couldn't ask for a better experience and service. We tried Midwest Coach Limousine for the first time in July and were extraordinarily pleased. We had a milestone family event with 24+ people and we needed a total of 8 car service events over a 5 day period and the team nailed it every time. Our needs included transportation from O'Hare to Warrenville, 2 dinner events and a trip to Plano, IL to see a family memory. The drivers were always a little early and they knew when to take a traditional route to our venue and when to use back roads due to rush hour traffic or construction. The vehicles included a Metris, a 14 person Sprinter, a 23 person Shuttle bus and a 31 person Shuttle bus. All were clean, cool and good working order. It was really hot during the 5 days we were together and we never had any problems staying cool when using the different vehicles. It's really a great thing to know that we never had to worry about our transportation, Midwest Coach Limousine made everything seamless. Every time I book I feel comfortable that my appointment is locked in and they have always matched my lowest rate found! Great customer service and the drivers I have had both were friendly and pleasant. My first trip we stayed at our stop longer than anticipated (2-3hrs longer) and the driver was totally fine w/ this. He just advised me of the additional cost and told us to take our time! Our 2nd trip the driver was a joy. He took great care of us and passed along his cell number to reach him when we were ready to leave our sporting event so that he could pick us up at the nearest location. My now husband and I were initially unsure if we wanted to provide transportation for our wedding guests because it was just one more expense added to an already expensive day, however we ultimately decided to do it because we wanted to avoid any potential drinking and driving situations after our reception! We looked into various shuttle vendors and what stood out the most about Midwest Limousine was how helpful they were in figuring out what we needed and the logistics of everything. Most other companies wanted me to make all of the decisions such as bus size and hours running on my own, which makes sense except for the fact that I had no idea what I was doing because I do not know how long a round trip in a shuttle might actually take, how many guests typically take the shuttle, etc. Midwest Limousine still let me make those decisions but gave me their professional opinion based on guest count, ceremony and reception time, and their experience working with our venue, and because of that everything turned out great! They were very kind, professional, and easy to work with during the entire process. Also worth noting, they were one of the most affordable options we found when comparing quotes from various shuttle companies! We rented the 18-seat bus for our wedding from the church to the reception hall. The bus was very clean and super cool inside! Driver was very friendly and flexible with where we wanted to go. My only suggestion would be for the hookup for music to be a little easier. Our bus used Bluetooth technology, and my phone had some trouble syncing up... might have been easier with just an AV cord, but I'm not sure about how logistically feasible that is.
