The frosted lemonade is disappointing, but I still love Chick-fil-a! Their chicken sandwiches and waffle fries are delicious. I like to eat my fries with ranch. A little pricier than most fast food places, but I think the quality is better. I tried their new frosted lemonade today and was sadly disappointed; I was so excited to try it. I always do mobile order and pick up. I came a lot. I love chicken sandwich. Also I tried every sauce. Chick-fil-A sauce and polynesian sauce are the best. With waffle potato chips and cookies&cream milkshake, this is perfect meal. Hash brown scramble burrito was also good for breakfast. But grilled cool wrap was really "cold". This location used to be a Sizzler (ate there like one time) and Chick Fil-A had its grand opening at this location back in February of 2013. In my opinion, this was a marvelous move for the Christian-based company as it's directly across from APU, one of the top Christian universities. APU students can also use their Cougar Bucks at this Chick-fil-A. When they first opened, their drive-thru route wasn't the best. It led the cars around into the parking lot and actually would block people in their parking spots and they couldn't get out. Most of the time, my husband and/or sister would use the drive-thru and if we wanted to "eat in", we would park as far away as possible to avoid getting blocked in by cars in the line. I think they started realizing how disastrous this was as they probably didn't anticipate the drive-thru lines to always be that long. I used to frequent the Chick-Fil-A in Cerritos and was happy to see they opened one in this area. My all time favorite item to order is the #2 with waffle fries and a lemonade. The Chick-fil-a sauce goes great in the sandwich. Either the #2 or 8-piece chicken with Polynesian and BBQ sauce. New built and opened on February 21, 2013. I'm so glad this restaurant has come to Azusa. It was three years in the making and thanks to Azusa Pacific, they made it happen! I went to the soft opening/premiere night and it was amazing! the food is great and so are the staff! they have long tables at this location to accomodate meetings, get togethers with friends, and all the fun things that APU likes to incorporate. if you have "cougar bucks" with Azusa Pacific, you may also use them at this location. When it comes to Fast Food, there are really only a few chains that are acceptable in my book, after In N Out, Chick fil A is one of them. Always great service and food, high quality, made to order goodness. I love their sauces and lemonade, as well as their chicken strips. Only thing is i think the prices are high for the portion size. What just happened? Look, I know this Covid 19 thing has people on edge. But to be publicly accused of wrong-doing by an order taker in the drive through about 15-20 minutes ago. Here is what happened - I have been coming to this CFA location since it opened. I take the freeway to get here, which sends me north on Citrus Avenue. It is located in a busy strip mall, on the corner. There are 2 ways to enter - either on Route 66, or via the driveway next to the gas station on Citrus. Both entrances Y into one drive-thru line behind 5 Guys (if you have been here, you know the layout.) So, I enter from Citrus, and wait my turn to merge in line. The line is moving quickly. I merge in, give my order to one of the gentlemen... no problem. Except I see another CFA associate giving me 'the stare.' Dude takes my order, walks away... and the other guy walks up and says "excuse me sir? Next time you come here, don't cut in line.' I ask what he is talking about. He answers with a complete lie "every car waiting in line TOLD ME you cut in front of them." Wow... dude sure got thru asking all of those cars quickly.... and I never saw him leave the car behind me. So I answer 'I came in from the driveway on Citrus, same as I always do. The line merges here... it always has.' This guy tells another lie 'the driveway has signs saying 'no entry.' Now I am pissed. I say 'bull***t. If that was the case, I would NOT have pulled in. Where is the sign?' Then I point to the driveway which we can both see and ask again 'where is the sign?' He then points to a different sign (at the actual entrance to the drive thru) and says 'there.' To which I reply 'that is still in front of me... and I didn't enter that way. I came around the building - where you started talking to me!' Then he says something that pissed me off thoroughly "YOU SHOULD COME IN THAT WAY." Umm... I should have? That is what I did! I unloaded on this jackass! I told him "I did the right thing, there were no signs, and by the way - I have not even paid you yet. I can just as easily leave now and go to your competition. Is that what you want?" He said 'I don't want you to leave.' I told him 'I know you are under stress because of this virus. But don't take it out on the customer. Last I checked the customer is always right. Now please explain to the car behind me that I did nothing wrong!' In line I repeated my story to the guy who took my payment, and also to a person who identified himself as the manager. To his credit, he apologized and said that they are not very organized tonight. The food was terrific. Doubt I will be back, though. I did not need to be humiliated and accused of doing something I did not do, and for something that was so f***ing petty. Raisin' Canes is right across the street. I remained loyal to CFA. Next time? We go elsewhere. Chik Fil A should NEVER humiliate their loyal customers. read more

This place is usually great. My only complaint is the way they facilitate the lines. I arrived at the same time as another car; however, I was in a separate line. I don't know what happened to this place, but the service has seriously declined. The cashier was very curt and never offered a smile. I felt like my presence was annoying her. I thought it was just me, but my friend shared the same experience without me having said anything. Usually the workers are constantly checking on you and offering refills etc. after we sit down. But in the entire time that we were there (over a hour), not a single person checked on us. Not to be paranoid, but we DID notice that plenty of tables around us WERE receiving excellent service...perhaps because they weren't as *a-hem* diverse as my party? Just saying... They were having a staff meeting next to us so we gave them the benefit of the doubt that they were busy. But...nope! even after the meeting was over did anyone come check on us. All the while employees kept jamming down the trash bins with a stick to try to compact the trash. Look, I understand the purpose of that, but to do this while I'm eating? I would much see them change the trash bags than see this. I was generally happy with the service until this morning when I was really disapointed with their attitude and inconsideration. It took me half an to set up the account to order delivery and then it did not let me submit becuase it was too close to breakfast ending. So, I chaged it to pick up at the drive thru and rushed over there my order had been submited since around 10:15 pleanty of time before the breakfast time frame was over and I was waiting in the drive through line before 10:30. When the young girl finally came to my window she asked her manager and he rejected my order totally unfair since I was waiting in the drive through line before 10:30 and they should have honored my order. Little things like this ruin a persons day. To top it off i asked for three chicken nugget meals and one wrap and in stead i got the wrap as a meal and only two nugget boxes which ment I got no food for myselfl :( read more

Went to chick-fil-a for breakfast this morning and got a chicken biscuit with tater tots and an orange juice. The breakfast was pretty good, personally I like their lunch menu better, but I was able to get a relatively cheap fast delicious breakfast before I went to school, a breakfast that was much more satisfying than mcdonalds. I am always amazed with the efficiency of this location, they always have your food ready by the time you get to the window. Additionally the workers are extremely polite and courteous, the workers don't seem like they hate life as much as the employees of other fast food franchises. My new fave is the chicken cool wrap with fried chicken instead of grilled. Yummo! Thanks to the staff at this location for always accommodating this new obsession of mine. :) However, I had a bit of a frustrating experience at the drive-thru today. I gave two gift cards with which to pay for my sandwich (just a little money on each); I gave those to the cashier, and she swiped them. Then I wanted to use my Chick-fil-A app for the balance. The cashier had to scan my app multiple times, then a team lead got in on the action, then a manager. They conferred briefly (I couldn't overhear), and then the cashier says, "You have to pay with the app first, and then the gift cards." Thankfully I had the means to go ahead and pay the balance of my purchase (although I was already growing embarrassed for holding up the very long drive-thru line), but I was annoyed that it was on *me* (it seemed) to intuitively know which form of payment to give first and whatnot. I suppose in the future I'll need to announce in advance how I'm paying for my meal in order for the transaction to go smoothly. :-/ read more

They didn't charge me for my complete order and I had no clue considering it doesn't show you the total anywhere. So I go sit down and an employee asks me to go to the register because "there's a problem with my order". I go to the register and the manager or shift leader is rude and has to go over my order again while giving me attitude. I won't be returning to this location.
