Went to this In N Out after a long day at school and was very impressed with the cleanliness of the place and friendliness of the staff as well! The place didn't seem too busy and the wait time was average but the food was worth it. I usually am not a fan of In N Out fries but today was one of the rare occasions where I actually enjoyed eating them and thought they tasted pretty good. I like this location. Along with the location in Covina, this location by APU is the one we visit often for our In-N-Out cravings. The parking and the drive thru can get pretty crazy and obstruct traffic. We normally do the drive thru, but on occasion we dine in. The location is clean and tidy most times and they accommodate a lot of seating inside and the many patio seats outside. The orders we place are usually correct and we hardly have issues with our customizations. I like to try the burgers a multitude of ways. Recently, I have been trying the Flying Dutchman with whole grilled onion wrap and added chop chilis. Definitely, try this if you haven't. It's AMAZING! This is an alternative way of enjoying the Double Double since it's just meat and cheese along with however you customized it. Its a cool option if you wanna cut some carbs. This is one of the cleanest locations I've ever been to it was really high quality food as well. But the reason I'm leaving a review is for the service. The service at this location is by far the best I've ever experienced. You can tell that the people working here enjoy themselves or at least they put on the act like they do unlike other places. I had a young man asked me what my number was I had both my kids at the table with me and then later instead of hearing my number get called he walked up to the table with my food and then he asked if he could get me any spread or anything else. I can't tell you what such a small act meant to an overwhelmed over stimulated tired mom. I don't think there is ever a "downtime" at this In-N-Out location! I believe the reason InO's are always so packed is because they haven't veered from their menu all of these decades. Despite my trying to not eat meat more than a couple of times a month, my teenager asks for InO weekly, so we are there for that AND I have three dogs who instantly know when I walk in the door with an InO bag in hand that they are about to get a "pup patty"! InO fries to boot will never get old for me. This is a classic burger joint with ultra consistently friendly customer service (I asked one once if that was part of their training because I have literally NEVER come across a grumpy employee at any InO location!!). In n out is my favorite burger place and as many west coasters know, it's a very consistent meal. That said, this location in Azusa is one of my favs as they are always efficient, kind, and get the orders right. It's also a newer building with a nice drive thru design, that I wish other locations had. It also has indoor seating. My go to is a 4x2 which is 4 meat and 2 cheese plain or just a regular double double. For fries I recommend getting them "light well" which is slightly more cooked for a more crisp finish. The light lemonade is a good low cal / low sugar option. When I need a pick me upper meal or a good cheat day, in n out hits the spot. Highly recommend this location! read more

It's In-N-Out, need I say more? Probably not, but here goes... As we approached the parking lot, we saw that the drive through line was a bit long and we thought about just going inside to order, but my son had faith that the drive-through line would be pretty quick. He was right, it was. They had a friendly crew member outside "walking the line" with his tablet, taking orders to speed things up. We quickly gave him our order, and before we knew it, we were at the window, handing over the credit card for payment. The order was ready to go, not ten seconds later. Nice and hot, and ready to take home and enjoy. As usual, the order was 100% correct, which at some establishments is like winning the lottery, but not at I-N-O. So it's fun that I can still go in there and be surprised at the genuine desire the employees have to serve. Eye contact, friendliness and second mile service. I had ordered my food and my server and the gal next to him were both helpful and kind and gave my daughter stickers. Then when I came back to pick up my food, I remembered water and hesitated to ask since it was a busy Saturday right after soccer and a couple teams were there! When I asked, she made me feel like I was doing HER a favor and happily got me water. The food is really fresh and the drive thru line is relatively short more than it is long. They're sensitive to our allergies and I feel safe eating here. I also find the fries to be more potatoey here more than other locations. I think it's because they put napkins over them to steam before you get to eat them. Yum... I love In n Out. The flavor is great. It is one of the very few places I get fries and I always get them well done. The extra crispness is wonderful. My kids got regular fries tonight and my fries "well" - weren't. At least not like I've had them at other In N Outs where I've eaten at least once a month for years. I took them up to the counter and asked if I could please have them well or extra crispy. They obliged and I got back the very same level of "well" - not a crispy one in the bunch. I don't know if they have been told to leave the fries in for a shorter period of time or what but those fries were really disappointing. Newly opened In N Out Burger location, since the end of May. Located next door to the newly opened Popeye's. This location has dog friendly, covered, outdoor seating and plenty of it. My husband, our little girl dog and I came here just so I could get something to eat (yep, just me). We came on a Saturday afternoon, around 2:35 pm. Surprisingly there was a line at the register. I guess lots of people like to eat lunch late (dinner really early). I ended up ordering: Hamburger, $2.55 prior to tax ($2.79 after)- Would you believe that this was my very first burger from In N Out? It's true (I always had their fries, shakes and grilled cheese sandwiches). Well this burger did not disappoint. Initially I thought it was going to be average since the patty was rather thin. But goes to show that you can't judge a book by it's cover or a patty by its size because it was good. Goes to show why In N Out is known to use fresh ingredients and can taste the difference from other fast food restaurants (and am I bold to even say that the taste is comparable to sit down burger places?). It was nice to be asked by the employee at the register if I wanted grilled onions, lettuce, tomato, etc Wait time for my burger took some time, especially with the line that was ahead of me (I ordered to go). So gross. I found two hairs in my food. Both were deep into my double double burger. The first one didn't gross me out and I tossed it but the second time was gross and it was this long hair meshed in the sauce of my animal style double double. I am so grossed out and frustrated but unfortunately both times I bit into hair were toward the end of my burger so I really only had one last bite left and I got my food in drive thru so didn't want to go back to in n out with a bite left of my double double to show them what I found.
