I just had the best customer service here! We were eating dinner not knowing the Manager was behind us with his family. He noticed I changed the baby intolerant clothes due to the storm coming through Bakersfield. The guy attending the floor asked to take our trays since we were busy grabbing all the baby gear (first time parents). While we were done grabbing all our things the store manager and the employee were waiting to take me and baby to the car with their Chic-fil-A umbrella. I HEART CHICK-FIL-A. With that being said, I was a regular customer when I lived in the East Coast and have my heart set on making it to the various locations popping up in the Bay Area. The food here is as good as the other locations and the staff was friendly. My only gripe is the the bathroom was probably the worst I've seen for a Chick-Fil-A. Honestly, I'm obsessed with Chick-Fil-A. I use to get the Chick-Fil-A deluxe with no tomato, until they changed the item to spicy. Now, I just get the original Chick-Fil-A sandwich and add American cheese. Hands down, the BEST place to get chicken. Super flavorful and fresh food, the best employees, drive through is almost always fast even during lunch/dinner rush, what more can you ask for? Popeyes and KFC chicken don't compare. Came in for dinner during a Friday. Service was great although they didn't have enough cashiers at first. Food was delivered quickly and was served fresh. Sandwiches were more full than the old ones where we used to go to. We really like that they have wipes for the kids hands at the playroom. Overall a nice experience. read more

We don't have Chick-fil-A in Oregon yet, a problem that will be resolved this spring. In the meantime, we make sure to visit a Chick-fil-A anytime we travel out-of-state. My fiance and I both had tried chick-fil-a years ago, and tried it again for the first time in a while recently. Overall, the food was great, the fries were delicious, and there homemade lemonade is fantastic. The atmosphere is great, although during certain times it can be hectic and crazy busy. The food is very overpriced in my opinion, but considering it's probably the best chicken sandwich in town, it isn't that big of a deal. Overall fun and great experience!! read more

Always get either the spicy chicken sandwich or regular with a lemonade, the food is great and so is the service. My only complaints are that I have to ask for no ice and extra pickles, two pickles just isn't enough and the lemonade is 60% ice, so you go through your drink pretty fast. read more

I'm beginning to re-think my frequent visits. When I use the drive thru, the experience seems incredibly rushed and the the, "My pleasure," catchphrase also seems so rushed. While I appreciate the prompt service, it definitely feels rushed. Maybe I'm the only one. read more

I like taking my toddler here when I need some time of my own to take care of somethings like paper work. She loves playing with other kids in the indoor playground at this restaurant. Last year, I got a calender for $17 dollars and every month they give you something free from their menu with a card included in the calendar. I like their chicken, cookies, coffee, and lemonade because they use real ingredients unlike other fast food restaurants. And, I really their family atmosphere and it feels safe enough form me take my toddler there. The staff are great too, they take your meal to your table and sometimes they check up on you to see if you need anything, something the other fast restaurants never do. read more

I agree that the service is very good. I brought my wife, who had never had it before. We split an order of chicken tenders. I found them to be a little too greasy and salty for my taste, although the chicken quality is a step-up from most other places. The lemonade is outstanding. Now I understand why the menus has options to buy it by the gallon. read more

I took the kids to Chick-fil-A before heading to Toy Story 3 on Ice. We needed something quick. I wasn't expecting to find anything healthy on the menu, and I was pleasantly surprised. Chick-fil-A has a number of healthy, grilled chicken salad options. The kids were happy with the chicken fingers, and I was delighted with the Southwest Chicken Salad. Very tasty, despite its low calorie count. It's a nice alternative to the average fast food salad. We will be back! read more

I usually have a great experience here but today was sub par. First of all there were no pickles on my sandwich and the lettuce was slimy. Second the chicken tasted funny, and third I asked for honey roasted BBQ sauce and received one. Usually the food is great but today must have been a bad day. read more

I love the chicken sandwich and lemonade! Last few times I've gone my fries have been only half full and the buns on my sandwich are always cold. I wish the buns could be warmed before the sandwich is put together. Please give me my full serving of fries thank you. Just went again and my sandwich looked like a grilled chicken and not a breaded one. Dropping the ball here lately. The customer service here is superb! We went on dress like a cow day. I figured it was going to be crowded and take forever. Boy, was I surprised! The line moved at a quick speed, the cashier was extremely nice and helpful, and we received our food at record speed. The food is bomb; it never disappoints. The employees are beyond courteous and are always willing to go above and beyond to give their customers a positive dining experience. They have a play area that my kids love. To be honest, it's one of the main reasons I go there with my kids. I also love that it's Christian owned and operated. They even have instrumental Christian music playing in the establishment. There are no words, but my kids sing along to it when they recognize the song. There's not much to complain about, but to be "fair and balanced" I will name a couple. If you want ranch they will give it to you but you have to ask for it; they don't leave the packets sitting out with the utensils and condiments. Also, if you want a drink refill you have to ask an employee. They don't have the self-service fountain drinks that most establishments have. I understand these are cost saving measures, but it is a minor inconvenience, especially when they are busy (which is most of the time). Also, Chick-fil-A of Bakersfied banned me from liking and/or commenting on their Facebook posts. I can't imagine why they would've done it; I believe it was done in error. To sum it all up, Chick-fil-A Bakersfield has excellent food, a great staff, and a great play area for kids. It definitely tops most fast food establishments in town. I am proud to call myself a Chick-fil-A fan. read more
