New gluten free options brought us to this Chick-fil-A. Stopped by here and saw the line wrapped around the parking lot. Decided to use the app. Took a minute to download and order, but worked out nicely. I highly suggest it. Chicken cob salad was great. Crunchy lettuce and the cherry tomatoes were ripe and sweet. Waffle fries were good, but a little soggy. No bathrooms available here, but looks like they really adapted to COVID-19 with their delivery model. Everyone was adjusted to moving the line and serving the curbside pick up spots. It was well orchestrated. They really know how to move the line. In n out could learn a thing or two from Chic-fil-A read more

It's your standard fast food restaurant with its emphasis on excellent employees and food. The main problem is one of them will mess up and give you the wrong order. Check your order. Whatta no pick up on the appt! Bakersfield needs two locations! No wonder there is a long line. It sucks enough that we all had to wait for the renovation to be finished and then now you got to wait more in line. What was the point..... I'm sure this stressful for the employees now I hope they are getting paid enough for all the hard work they put in! The service wasn't bad but it wasn't good!!! I paid for a 12 piece grilled chicken nugget and all they did was cut a chicken breast into very small bite size pieces. So you can say they gave me a 6 piece for the price of a 12 piece!!! The food is becoming super pricey and very disappointing!!!! Came here and the kid that was taking my order was rude, name on the receipt was Steven. They were not standing in the designated area with menus. He came to my vehicle asking what I wanted to order, I asked for a menu and he rolled his eyes like I was an inconvenience to him. He also interrupted me 3 times to move my vehicle up as the line went up which I thought was rude. When I got to the mid section, the gentleman read my order back to me and it was wrong. He fixed it and then my order came. The drive thru is normally busy but smooth but not this time. read more

Chick fil a is just so good! Me and my grandma go there every Thursday and I get the kids meal with breaded chicken nuggets and fries. Their seasonal milkshakes are the best, and they are polite and for being run by younger people, it's actually pretty good! The inside is very clean and tidy with no food on the floor. What bad can you say about a Christian Organization that serves awesome food and gives young adults a chance to learn a trade and possibly even a career. We actually had an opportunity to visit the home office in Atlanta and get a tour of how it all start. I was also a night shift manager of a store in Marietta a lot of years ago. This vist I ordered the original Chick Fil A minus the pickle. The chicken breast was perfectly cooked and was a perfect size. The waffle fries are always pipping hot and crunchy. The only thing I wished they would bring back is the Coleslaw but after taking with the corporate office they explained it was less than 1 percent of their sales. I was still bummed, not really kale salad fan. Awesome professional service and great food just as if should be!!!! read more

Ok, to all the haters out there that don't think Chick-fil-A has the best food and drinks ever, then, ugh. To all the people who think Chick-fil-A is DELICIOUS, I have respect for you. Lots of respect. This place is AMAZING. Their chicken is literally perfectly cooked. Their lemonade is the perfect amount of sweet and sour. Their ice cream is nice and smooth. OH MUH GOSH, their fries are better than any other fast food place in the world. And if you disagree, ugh. Whatever. #HatersBackOff Also, their service is perfect. After you finish your order, they say, "My pleasure!". If your kid isn't a fan of their toy, that's ok. You can trade it for an ice cream cone! They have restrooms in their restaurant as well. Chick-fil-A also offers an indoor playground for kids. There are sanitizing wipes right next to the entrance of the playground as well! So, don't blame Chick-fil-A if your kid gets a cough, ok? It's not their fault if some booger-picking kid decided to go in there. And it's not their fault if your kid didn't wash their hands with the generous sanitizing wipes Chick-fil-A provides. Garbage online app service. Takes 15 minutes to go through site just to order 1 meal, it gives NO SAUCE OPTIONS with food anywhere, then at end after you give financial info and 'place' order, it says go to store and once ur there we will START ur order. Literally ordering online takes LONGER than just going to a store and ordering in person? Who designed this??? It's hot garbage. Won't be eating or ordering from chick-fil-A anymore after this. read more

Was driving through Bakersfield and decided to grab breakfast at Chick-fil-A. There was a line when I arrived and when I looked up the hours, the restaurant was not opened. Temporary hours changed to 10am - 10pm. I decided to wait in line with the other line of cars. I was determined to get me some chicken biscuits. Then the disappointing news came when I was ready to order, the young lady says, "sorry we're not serving breakfast." Wtf I seriously sat for 45 minutes for nothing. Very disappointing. read more

A frequent Chic Fil A guest and have come quite tired of getting cut off in the parking lot line I have a short lunch and have to get back quick. Never fails every time I pull up in the appropriate line another customer makes that hard right turn into the drive thru lane cutting us off.. I know there is a sign but it is never enforced. I got off by 4 consecutive cars and one of the employees saw it and did nothing. Great now I'm late for following the rules I'll have to find somewhere else to go to from lunch now on out. read more

This is my favorite fast food place so I come here more often than not. I got a number 1 with extra pickles and a large fry. Let me start by saying I love Chick-fil-A. I love the one near my home, and when I'm traveling and visit a Chick-fil-A, I almost always get the same great service and delicious food. This location gets one star because it's the first bad Chick-fil-A I've ever encountered. Lines at a Chick-fil-A are always going to be long, but most locations have developed efficient ways to serve customers. This place has not. All restaurants are suffering because of COVID-19 policies. Most of them have done what they can to make the dining experience as pleasant as possible under the circumstances. This place has not. This location has a customer-unfriendly attitude and an "us vs. them" mentality on the part of the employees. The real problem is the city of Bakersfield, which I wish I could give zero stars. It's a worst-of-both-worlds shithole. Living there would be like living in a trailer park with high property taxes. Thank God I was just passing through. read more

Man oh Man! This place was HOPPIN'! The line for drive through was wrapped around the establishment with employees outside taking orders, the line for pick up was out the door, the line was to the door inside and the place was PACKED! EFFICIENCY here was the name of the game,! I ordered inside to take out....the entire experience took less than 10 minutes! There was one individual handing out orders based on a description and name given. The place although crazy busy was fast, food was on point! Hot and delicious! Also noting dining was clean and neat despite the amount of people inside! I'll definitely go back! Fast, juicy and hot . There's no better chicken sandwich in town! read more

It is unbelievable how they manage so patiently a large crowd all the time . Their training is unbelievable and really a lesson to many businesses irrespective of the industry. Every single team member contributes over hundred percent and together they work as a well oiled machine while providing excellent customer service . Highly impressive. The food quality is good as expected for Chick Fil A. I will say the parking lot and drive thru is a bit confusing and I would just go in and pick up your order. First timers. Went inside and warmly greeted by Ramsie. The cashier that waited on us thoroughly walked us thru the process of ordering, making helpful suggestions. A hubbub of activity around us. We chose to dine in. Our food was brought to our table. Husband and I both ordered a spicy chicken sandwich. Served with waffle fries and a drink. DELICIOUS!!!! Take my word for it. PERFECT! My husband has a lot of nostalgic love for this place, and wanted me to try it while we were in California this weekend. We stopped in on the way back to Vegas yesterday. The place was clean, and bright. The service was exceptional. Everyone was polite. We had a girl stop by our table and offer to take our trays, AND to get a refill of soda...usually you have to bus your own tables at fast food joints. The sandwich was good too. The chicken was tender, and the sauces were good. I like the Chik sauce and the Polynesian sauces the best. The fries were my favorite part though. I would probably stop in again, if I'm near one. read more

Long line , but it's a given it's chick-fil-A , was in line about 8 mins, then was ask to park add another 5 mins . Before I park the guy gave me my fries I rather have my fries when he brought my order out. So sitting in the car for 5 mins with fries that wasn't even for me, were getting cold. I don't mind parking for fresher food but next time let's have more common sense bring fresh fries with the order . read more

As with any new business, it is going to take a few days to get the place up and running. You can eat inside. The tables and chairs looked comfy, but I opted to take out. The walls are a little sparse, but I'm certain they will dress the place up nicely. The owner was very nice and you could tell he had a passion for this business. We placed a large order at 11:15am for the 10pc chicken joy, the glass tumbler, Yum burger with cheese snack pack, spaghetti family pack, and some sides including mashed potatoes, rices, and coleslaw. They had a promotion running if you spend $35, then you get a free chicken sandwich too. About ten minutes after placing the order, our food was ready. There was a small mix up because I thought I said to go, but it was rang in as dine in (I'm really not sure if this was my error, or the cashier's error), but when the food was ready it was on a tray. I asked if we can have it bagged up for take out and Iris was very sweet and kind about it. It was really refreshing to see someone not get upset or defensive about extra work a little mistake caused. I really appreciated the customer service. When we got home, the order was accurate. Unfortunately, I was so excited about the food, it didn't even cross my mind to take a photo of the feast. I really enjoyed that the chicken skin was still crunchy, and the chicken itself was still moist. As for the spaghetti, and yumburgers - they tasted just like the other locations we've had in the Valley, SGV, and in Honolulu. It's really nice to have this option here in Bakersfield. Even the parking is plentiful. Overall - this is a great spot, and would definitely recommend coming here.

They have a lot of staff and half of them are just standing around. I'm really disappointed this time around. I live chick filet food but definitely will reconsider if it's worth my time! I order a 30 Piece meal with extra fries and extra drink spend 30.00 and the lady's at the window were rude and I know they have a new system where you pull past the window so they could move faster they the line but when doing that their accuracy is really affected. I got a ice steam cup and I heard one lady tell the other lady make sure you put a spoon in their and guess what no spoon when I asked they said it's in the bag and then I asked for more ketchup and they said why and it was just rude and I told her well you only gave me 1 packet of ketchup and I have a lot of fries and nuggets and she said ok fine I'll be right back but it wasn't necessary to be rude. If I could give this place more stars I would. I don't consider this place fast food even know it is. First of all every time I walk into this place the customer service is outstanding. I am always greeted and the employees truly seem happy here at this establishment. The food is always prepared well and is not just all thrown together. Even know there is a little bit of a wait in the drive thru due to the large volume of people eating at this place they move fairly fast. I have been to this location several times and have never had a bad experience here. This place is always very clean inside and the employees are always approaching you at your table asking you if you need anything. This is one of the best fast food places to eat because it does not feel like a fast food restaurant. I would highly recommend this place. It is also a good family environment! read more

100th review!! Of course it's for food. Un-freakin-believable. I come here occasionally during my lunch hour which is usually the most stressful time to acquire food anywhere. Every time I get into the drive thru, it's packed. Like, from the window to the wall. Except from the drive thru to the parking lot. I'm always surprised by how polite and smiley all the employees are, even those who end up stationed outside taking orders to expedite the drive thru. I was literally about 20 cars away from the front (the drive thru wraps alllllll the way around back to the parking lot) and was able to get my food in under 10 mins. I usually like their nuggets, grilled or breaded. I am not a fan of their fries at all, but they have so many other options it doesn't bother me. A little pricey for a "healthy" lunch: grilled nuggets, side salad and lemonade was $12. read more

****Dear franchise owner****I am speaking for all customers with young children, please reopen your play place for our children, do not shut it down completely, as much as we enjoy your food and services we will take our business elsewhere, if we do not have a safe place to take our children for lunch and entertainment. Can y'all please get better with door dash orders. This the fourth time I've ordered a kale salad like it's one thing it's not give me salad dressing, which they haven't the last four times there's no option on DoorDash for dressing, but then I asked for Buffalo and barbecue sauce and they only give me those so I'm just left with a dry salad. I come here for lunch all the time and the service and food is always the same, excellent. I like how they only do chicken. I wish more places just specialized in just one thing. I usually order the number 7 combo which is a grill chicken sandwich. The chicken is always tender and delicious. The greens are fresh it's kinda odd but the food you get actually likes like the photo. I know what a concept. Overall the quality and service is great. My favorite healthy alternative to fast food! They always have fresh chicken serve all orders with a smile! My server today was Hannah and she was fantastic. I always leave this establishment with a smile on my face and a full belly. It's always pretty clean and up kept. Our food comes out pretty quick. I have stayed away from French fries lately, so when hungry and shopping, I have stopped in Chick-fil-A and found the sandwich itself filling and very tasty. You can actually taste a chicken taste, and it doesn't seem full of breading, etc. I can recommend this sandwich for a healthy alternative to other ff items. read more
