In particular mobile orders are frequently delayed and even once I'm in the restaurant asking for them to complete my order, it will take often quite a while before somebody actually goes into the back to complete the mobile order. Therefore, I recommend you come in to this location and order on site. Any mobile order will take much longer than projected.

When I arrived to pick up the order, I was told that everything I had ordered was sold out. The frustrating part was that I was never notified ahead of time, so I had no opportunity to make another selection before arriving. Since my friend doesn't eat chicken, I had to find another seafood option on the spot. Once I found something that would work, I had to pay an additional $15 and then wait another 20 minutes for the new order. I normally go to the Locust Point location and have never really had issues there, so I don't want this experience to give the impression that I think Ekiben is bad overall. This was genuinely just one bad experience. The food itself is still AMAZING. I'm obsessed with the Tacklebox, the tempura broccoli is , and the chili noodles are an absolute SMASH. I'll definitely still be back because I genuinely love Ekiben -- I just hope there's better communication when an item from a scheduled order is no longer available.
