Even when it is the busiest of the busy season, this location knocks it out of the park. The mall is crazy around the holidays, and Chick-fil-a is always the place with the longest line. I entered the line behind about 10 people, made it through the line, ordered, and had my food all within about 12 minutes. They're good at communicating with people and checking to make sure you have all you need - very friendly. And hey, if you don't want to stand in line, order on the app, and it will be ready for pick up and you earn the points. I mostly find the counter clean and clear of trash that some customers leave. I got in line behind a lady waiting to order. They took her order and chatted with the previous customer. The lady once placed her order got in the far right pickup line. The manager looked over and had them move over to far left as they continued to chat away. Finally they decide to take my order. She had the audacity to say I was in the wrong line. I simply said I was in the middle line, to which there was another customer behind me. The other cashier added that you don't have to get ugly about it. Took forever to get my order. Several people who ordered after me were served before. I wasn't the only one who was waiting on food. The people calling names for orders could barely be heard. I won't be coming back to this store. My wait was over 20 minutes. Unacceptable for a store in the mall without a drive thru. read more

This Chick-fil-A does it right! It's inside, in the food court, and always packed. The staff is fantastic and always greets you with a smile. They run smoothly and efficiently. I ordered the spicy grilled sandwich and a side salad. I've never had a burger that looked exactly like the promo pics. I was truly amazed, it looked like it came straight from the commercial. Flavor was perfect, with a nice kick in the tastebuds. Side salad was a good standard side salad. I do wish they had a full menu, but now I'm just being picky. read more

Chick-fil-A is not my go-to fast food eatery. When I first moved to Louisiana it was because they were rare in California. I have come to get use to them and I also rarely eat fast food now. They definitely have some healthier options and have some options for you to have a yummy cheat day. This location has been here inside the mall food court for awhile and I have always had great service here. The only thing that is kind of a bummer is that they don't serve hot coffee, but if you want a sweet and cool pick-me-up, request for their frozen coffee which is their soft serve blended with some cold coffee. Ummmm... yummmmm . I am a sucker for their waffle fries. They are always cooked fresh, hot and crispy, just the way I like 'em! Come on now, can a food court version trump the drive through version of Chik-Fil-A? Apparently it can, since this fast food court version is probably the most popular station at during lunch time at the Mall of Louisiana.. I waited in line for a good 20 minutes to get my orders in for my large group of hungry chicken lovers. By the time the food was ready and prepared, they shoved the food toward the end of the line like it was a beer being served across the counter. I was surprised and slightly amused. After all, this is Baton Rouge, not New York City. Food court Chick-Fil-A is pretty close to the regular thing. McDonalds tends to taste even more fast food-ey (is that even a word) when it's a non-standalone restaurant. One of the main reasons why I always come back to Chick-fil-A is because of the phenomenal customer service; they're quick, kind, and always have a positive attitude! This Chick-fil-A is located in the Mall of Louisiana and although I'm a frequent customer, my experience hasn't compared to this one. EVER. Everything from the gentleman Troy, who took my order, to the tenderness of the waffle potato fries...it was all perfection! Troy was pleasant, patient, and handled the obstreperous people around us who were ordering very effortlessly. After ordering my medium waffle potato fries, sweet tea, water, and a side salad my sister and I decided to look for a place to sit. 5 minutes into being seated, we were approached by an older gentleman in his early 40s who asked us if everything was fine and proceeded to hand us 2 mints. Chick-fil-a probably is the standard for customer service although with the holiday shopping crowd it is extra busy and didn't mean a thing as the order was made and filled promptly. Camille was the name tag I saw and she was amazing asking my name to check my order status and providing feedback that it would be right up and within a minute or so she handed me my order The impressive thing is I saw her do this with several customers and had a smile and pleasant reassuring voice that kept the process moving As always the food was warm and consistent with taste and quality I don't normally believe in a 5 star rating as we always have something we can improve on but seeing how Camille worked and smiled was outstanding. I bought 2 kids meals and after I sat down in the mall's courtyard for my kids to eat I didn't see any ketchup or sauce for the kids nuggets. The lady there did not offered any at time of purchase so I figure maybe they had it there for me to grab. Then after I went up there to grab some, I didn't see any so I asked for some. Then after I sat down again, i see there were no napkins in the bags either, so again I go to grab napkins thinking they maybe on the front counter for costumers to get. But again, no napkins. Get it together.... I stop at this location at least once a week, always get the same 2 sausage biscuits and icea tea. Last 3 times i have gotten either chicken biscuits or bacon biscuits. WTH people either the hispanic crew in the kitchen can not read the order or the front order taker is not putting the order in correctly. I'll not stop there EVER again. It's Chick Fil A so what can i say, Today i tried the spicy chicken sandwich, number three for those of you who order by number. It was just as it should be, and i left totally satisfied. The spicy sandwich is great, not better than the original but if you're in the mood for something spicy... Once again though it's in a mall, so the parking blows, and you have to deal with shoppers but you know you'll deal with it to get that Chick Fil A sauce. Don't come on sunday though or you'll have to get Raising Canes instead because the Chick Fil A is closed on sundays, and while RC's is a step above KFC, that's not saying much:) read more

I eat at Chick-fil-A every morning before work. I really love their chicken biscuits with strawberry jelly. If you aren't into eating chicken in the morning their buttered biscuits are just as good. All of the employees always seem genuinely happy to help. Also, pay attention to you're receipts before you throw them away! Some of them tell you to go online and complete a survey to get a free chicken sandwich. I'm not a huge fan of their chicken sandwiches, they only come with chicken and 2 pickles on them. I've tried every sauce that Chick-fil-A offers, but nothing makes the sandwich taste better, to me. read more

Since I gave up regular fast-food a longggg time ago (former Burger King employee) I absolute have a strong disdain for anything quick and fast. Most yelpies do, but Chick-fil-A is my exception to the rule. When I am heading home after a long day of work and I do not feel like firing up the stove, I casually roll up to Chick-fil-A's drive up window. My favorites to order are the mini chicken bites or chicken tenders with Polynesian sauce (a twangy, sweet sauce with a little flavor kick). If i am ever up early, not often, I order the spicy chicken biscuit for breakfast. Yum, the tender white meat, (not that gooey seasoned plastic McDonald's serves) is music to my palette. If you're like me and get lazy sometimes and want something fast, Chick-fil-A is a sure win. I am thoroughly impressed with the service at these restaurants. They provide pristine service, the places are always clean, and everyone is SO NICE! I feel like I'm talking to family, and everyone wants me to have the best time of my life when I walk into these places. I would give Chik-fil-A 5 stars just for these reasons, and I haven't even gotten started on the food, which is absolutely delicious. I recently had some of their chicken breakfast biscuits and have been craving them ever since. To top it off, the lady serving us noticed how much me and my toddler enjoyed them, and came and gave a second serving for FREE. Truett Cathy, their founder, would be rolin over in his grave if he saw this location(this reviewer is presuming he is dead.) the staff are no better than the preppy kids at Raising Cane's across the food court(even though this reviewer has heard them tell a customer that their food is better than RC). To say that theyre a Christian organization is more due to the fact that theyre closed Sunday than in the way they do business. they even bribed mall security to get next door competitors not to stand out and give samples so as to eliminate competition. Believe me, if people didnt love toilet-tasting chicken made by Mexicans at fast food prices, this location would be on its way out.
