I tried to call the Vista Bowie store TODAY at 7 pm several times. Someone hung up the phone everytime. I had come in to place an order for a tray and find that unacceptable. The Team Leader on duty, Dadrien, apologized but was extremely nonchalant. There were also a bunch of kids laughing and playing while handling food. I heard a few curse words from a few team members. When I came back to pick up the tray, the team leader did not show any regard by telling the cashier, "oh her order is over there," while counting a till in public view. Visited this Chick Fil A for the first time this afternoon. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was ready before I was done paying. It was hot and delish, just like I like my original Chicken sandwich and waffle fries. The diet lemonade was a bit watery but still good. Chick Fil A is the best fast food, in my opinion, in the area. The drivers in this shopping plaza are pretty erratic and, apparently, turn signals are merely optional. Well, I'm usually Captain anti-fast food... But I've heard so many followers testify to the glory of Chick Fil A, I was willing to give it a shot hoping for In and Out Burgerish experience. As we all know, the drive thru lines at any and every CFA is always extremely long, but this location usually gets you in and out of the line as quickly as possible. So-Far, So-So! I can only rate this store base on its Drive-Thru performance even after the new order APP was made. One would think after everyone started to use their app things would be looking up for customers in the drive thru etc. WRONG. the service has gotten worst, there are cars being asked to move to the side and they will bring the order to you. This review does not reflect the food, but rather the service. We went at a somewhat busy time. We chose to dine in and gave our name so they could bring us our food. After waiting 10 minutes, we had still not received our food. Then we saw it coming out and it was walked to every table except ours. And every table touched it to see what it was. One woman yelled across the restaurant and said it was hers. It was taken over to her. She started eating it. 5 minutes later, her food was brought to her. She said she thought she already had her food. Next they asked her what she touched and she pointed to one of the fries; even though we saw her touch everything. So they replaced one fry and brought it to me. I told them I saw the food being passed around the restaurant and a woman eating the food and I wanted new food. The girl told her manager I said that and the manager complained asking why I would make them throw the food away. Another 5 or so minutes goes by, and we were brought a new tray. I asked if our milkshake was on it's way as well. This had been passed around the restaurant as well to every table except ours and when none of them claimed it, it was put behind the counter. Another 5 minutes goes by and we are given our milkshake. I do not blame the girl at the register, she was obviously new and had not made the original mistake. I blame the person walking around with the food who never asked for the name on the food which is the entire point of giving a name for the food. I blame the manager for complaining that we didn't want the food that had been touched by 10 people and half eaten by one. This was a very unpleasant experience. read more

Line for the drive-thru was long as always so I opted to park and get my food inside. For the first time ever....I should have just gone through the drive-thru. This awful older lady was working the cash register alone. She had a terrible fake wig and bright red lipstick smeared all over her lips and teeth. I assume she was new because she kept asking people if she could use their cards to swipe to have access to the register. When I got there, there was one person ahead of me in line...10 minutes later and this woman at the cash register is still on the same customer. I finally get to the front of the line and she is sooo RUDE. I try to give her my order quickly so she can get to the line of like 9 people that have accumulated behind me. She has the nerve to talk down to me like I'm a child and makes me slowly repeat everything that I've said as If she hasn't heard me the first time. I'm sure she's an okay worker, but this woman held up the Iine in the restaurant for almost 15 minutes because of her slow order taking skills and on top of that she's kind of a jerk. The quality of the food here is great and yummy. Some of the employees aren't the best and they seem to say "my pleasure" in an annoyed way sometimes. My family and church group goes here every other Saturday night so we know this place like second nature. There's an employee there that always knows to join tables for us when we arrive. I forgot his name but he is a senior African American man that is always cleaning tables or taking out the trash. He always asks us for refills and never seems to be annoyed by us and our large group. We love him and he is the sweetest man ever. He definitely deserves recognition for all he does and he positively embraces the chick-fil-a brand. read more

The food is fine.... Generally very quick moving drive through line considering the sheer number of people that are in line. The other day however I was beyond disappointed in the response of staff to issues in the drive through. Busy night... I Eason line for about 6 mins... About eight cars behind me. In roll "super jerk"... He goes head into cars coming out of drive through ... Other side of that are cars waiting in line ... After he confused everyone and let the cars out... He maneuvered himself so that he could jump in line .... Of course I was 3 cars back.. So he was able to finagle to block me off... I made sure he was actually busting in line... To which his response was ... Are you that greedy ... You should not be that greedy.. Uhhh that would be you idiot... Jumping in front of all these people. So I waited, pulled up to speaker and asked for a manager. Met with hesitation ... Someone came on and informed me they can do nothing about this ... You can not serve him or make him pull over and wait... I asked for a number for manager which was scrawled on a piece of paper.... This guy did this like it was not his first time (did I mention the wave as he drive off with his food) He has I obviously done it before and will probably do it again ...but the person he gets in front of may not be someone working on their temper and response to stupidity... I'm a huge Chick-Fil-A fan, and I eat at this one probably once a week. The location is honestly very hit or miss. Some days you can jump in the drive through and have your food in 10 minutes. Today I got in the drive through with the same amount of cars as usual and it took 25 minutes. They also got my order wrong. How hard is it to not put pickles on the sandwich? The service inside is usually very good, but it's often difficult to get a refill on your drink. Nobody will acknowledge you standing next to them unless you actively flag them down.Overall, it's still delicious and good enough to keep coming back. read more

They have a serious ant problem ants on tables and on walls. I have called them and emailed them over a two year period and no change. Last week I got a salad at the drive through and after eating it at my desk picked up the black try to throw it out and four ants scurried from underneath it. OK, I don't typically like to write reviews for chains or fast food places, but in this case I'll make an exception. The quality of food in any Chick-Fil-A is pretty standard, so this review is based on service. This location is right around the corner from my office, so it's a convenient stop for a quick lunch, which is the only reason I come here. The service is SO SLOW!!!!!! At any given time of the day, you will find a line of about 15 cars in the drive-thru, even when it's NOT the lunch rush. And I always have to laugh when I see their sign that says "We're as fast as you are, so please have your money ready". Really? In the time it takes to get through that drive-thru, you could get out of your car, walk to the bank next door, withdraw some cash, and come back before the line has even moved. I've seen the line so long it wraps over into Starbucks' parking lot. I've even gone so far as to call the store from my car and ask the manager what the problem is, but nothing changes. And going inside is no solution either....they're just as slow in there. And the staff are hit or miss......some are very friendly, others don't even bother to look at you. So if I'm REALLY craving those little golden nuggets, and just can't wait until I'm on my way home to stop at the Bowie location (which is MUCH better), I'll suffer through the lines at this one. But if you've got a few extra minutes and can wait, go to Bowie....you'll get much better service. read more

I am giving Chic Fil A 5 stars. Their food deserves it. Let me start by saying that I have had a great experience with the staff. They are very pleasant as far as I've experienced and the restaurant is clean. Chic Fil A is pretty darn great for a fast food place and because of it (and Chipotle) I don't go NEAR McD and Burger K...(etc). Sometimes the drive through is long, but I've never had a SLOW experience. I've been to other places and had shorter lines that took longer! THE MAIN problem for me is the few people that come in and skip the line as though they are in a high school cafeteria. I want Chic Fil A to regulate their lines better. Put up some dividers for each separate line (because they insist on it with that little red sign) The place can get too hectic at times and they really need it because some people lack common courtesy and think their time is more valuable than everyone else's. Get some crowd control and you are golden. read more

Chick-Fil-A has always had great food and offered fast service and I'm lucky to have one near my home. Very recently, another location opened up further down the road and ever since then, I've notice a distinct decline in the quality of service. I've witnessed much longer queues via the drive-thru, which wouldn't seem so odd if there wasn't another location nearby that could conceivably cannibalize the patronage of current and new customers. Not only are the lines longer, but accuracy of orders have suffered as well. I probably partake in Chick-fil-A twice a week because of its proximity and in the past four weeks, I've either had an error in my order or have an item or two completely missing in about five instances. And in the past two weeks, I've had to come back for missing items twice. Luckily, I live nearby. Which brings me to today, which I received some discouraging words from a manager by the name of Alba. I finally decided to give some input regarding my recent visits so that, in some way, I could affect change rather than dismiss the small errors and omissions as minor inconveniences. I gave an account of my recent visits to Alba and was, in short, told that "These things happen." Serves me right to try to give input. I can only hope that this location improves in both order accuracy and customer satisfaction. As little impact as my patronage to this location has had, I will gladly visit the other location down the road if it ensures that I receive consistent and fair service with the same great food that I expect from Chick-fil-A. read more
