Always a good experience here but tonight was exceptional! Pretty sure it was the manager who apologized for my wait for my mobile order & offered me a soda or chips! I was shocked & told him I've never never been offered anything free or discounted at JM! He was shocked by this. It was a great thing to do as a customer courtesy. I gravitate to this location because of the customer service. When it first opened there was a wonderful young lady who was the manager & she was so great. I've posted & emailed about her. I've been going here for a while but my last two visits were not good, the second being a disaster. My usual order is the Club Sub, which is great, but I to request bacon on both orders, when it is a standard item on that sub. When I got it home it was more Italian than Club. Second time the person, before I could say a word, grabbed my sub and proceeded to load it up with just about everything she had available, salt, pepper, whatever, drowning it in oil and vinegar to the point that the bread almost dissolved by the time I got it home. I was lucky enough to get her to hold the onions, but once again I had to request the bacon. Slow down, people, and get to know what the ingredients of each sub are. All right so one of my followers gave me a suggestion to do a versus between Charleys Philly steaks @charleys.uae and Jersey Mike's subs @jerseymikes . I thought this to be somewhat peculiar because I had never heard of the former, so I was immediately amped for this versus tasting...pressed...yes I was pressed!! OK so let's get into it! I went to the Charley's located at 3500 East West Highway, Hyattsville Maryland, inside of PG Plaza's food court. OK they got cheesesteaks ranging from $7.79 for a small, $9.99 for a regular, and $11.99 for a large. You can add (additional $2 for meat, $1 for bacon and/or cheese) or remove any toppings...like the bread. They have chicken cheesesteaks, steak cheesesteaks, turkey melts, cold cut subs, even a grilled mushroom veggie sub. They have plain and topped fries (you can top them with cheese sauce, bacon pieces, jalapeños etc...) from $1.99-$4.49. Also you can get real fruit lemonades. Ok so I copped their original Philly cheesesteak (pictured/with extra meat, provolone, onions, mushrooms, green peppers, lettuce, tomato, Mayo, pickles, a medium fry, and a large strawberry lemonade $19.90. STAMP the lemonade...fresh ingredients, palate pleasing, and I was surprised at the real fruit at the end. The fries were decent. The cheesesteak was decent. It had all the fixings it was shooting have, and it was good, don't get me wrong. I just needed some extra flavor, and bite to this sub!! Ok Jersey Mike's has regular subs at $9.50, Giant subs at $16.50, wraps at $9.50, and bowls at $9.50. Extra meat is $2.50, extra cheese $1.75, and gluten free bread is $3. They have cold cuts, steak and chicken cheesesteaks, even a portobello veggie cheesesteak. No fries here, only chips or cookies. I got their Big Kahuna (pictured with Rosemary Parmesan bread, extra steak, jalapeños, mushrooms, red, and green peppers, grilled onions, and extra white American cheese with a large Cream soda $18.70). With the cheese infused with the bread, and meat...and the burst of pepper, and onion flavors in each bite...Jersey Mike's wins this Vs. for me!! STAMP!! Go to both, and you make the call!! This location closes at the sight of any snow... but when they are open, the sandwiches are made with a lack of attention. I ordered a Big Kahuna with banana peppers. I ended up taking two bites into a sandwich with jalapeños instead. This location probably won't last long; id prefer a Firehouse Subs in its place. read more

This has to be the worst managed Jersey Mike's on the East Coast. My husband and I came in at noon on a Saturday, there were only two people working. There were six people ahead of us, all uncomplicated, and it took 30 full minutes to get two cold subs. There were hot subs coming out ahead of cold subs. The guy at the register took literally 5 full minutes to wrap a sandwich. So 45 minutes later we are finally done eating lunch, two regular-sized cold subs (unwrapped because we didn't want to wait the extra ten minutes for them to be wrapped). This place needs a new management team or to just burn in a fire -- I'll take either option. Last time we'll be eating there. read more

I ordered a ham and cheese sub here yesterday and it was very tasty. I asked for mayo to added to the second side of the bread after the sub was completed, but not wrapped and the young man making my sub didn't bat an eye and was so nice. I called ahead today to order a Chipotle cheese steak. Upon arrival to pay for and pick up the cheese steak, I handed over a Free Giant Sub voucher that I was given to me for making a donation to Jersey Mike's national fundraising campaign with March of Dimes. The expiration date is 12/31/20 and indicates "Valid at all participating locations". The lady working the register tried to scan the voucher and then said she couldn't get the voucher to work, so they must not be participating in Jersey Mike's national campaign with March of Dimes. I was handed back the voucher and then left this Jersey Mike's location hungry and frustrated. I was a weekly Jersey Mike's customer, but will be boycotting their restaurants indefinitely and will be discontinuing supporting their philanthropic efforts. This location at 6761 45th Street in Riverdale Park, Maryland fell short of the high level of customer service expected by Jersey Mikes Franchise locations. read more

I have been to this location several times. And so far only had one Minor problem, which was probably caused by my spouse. lol. But when I contacted the manager on duty (Tiffany). She's was very nice and invited me to come back and to help with remaking my dinner. They had two young gentlemen working the counter, one training the other. And they made my sandwich's so perfectly. They didn't mind taking that extra time to get some love into them and make sure they where made right. I changed the Construction of the sandwiches and the gentleman accommodated me so perfectly this location is one of the best thank you so much Tiffany and staff. read more

I don't understand the negative reviews.. I stopped in yesterday for the first time and I don't know why I didn't go in sooner!! I had the absolute best customer service! And of course the best sub ever! I didn't get the name of the employee that actually helped me which is bad on my part but my receipt did say I was helped by Tiffany and she was so lovely and helpful was well! The employees recommended some suggestions on what to try and boy oh boy my boyfriend and I loved our subs! The employees constantly checked up on us if everything was alright and tasty since we dined in and we never get that type of experience anywhere! Let me start by saying that this one of my favorite fast food sub shops but lately I have been coming in and they are always UNDER STAFFED!!!!! I now look over this place and go to Mod pizza and district taco, and the other fast food places for food because Jersey Mike's has completely let me down I know that I will always be late for my 30 mins work break. Today I ordered my sub at 11:00 and it told me that my sub would be ready at 11:36am I made it my business to get there on time I was two minutes late 11:38 and they hadn't even started my sub! The staff that I see s the time when I go is always polite and COMPLETELY OVER WORKED! Idk who management is but get these people some help before they loose loyal customers to this location! I didn't receive my food until 12 noon when I was supposed to be back at work! For this to be a multi million probably even a billion company those people are over worked! Get them help again the two staff members you have are amazing and take slot of verbal abuse from other customers! They are polite and always give good service.....
