Still on cloud nine from wrapping up a successful shopping trip with the girls at Mousy's, Fru Fru gestured to her Little Rodentia arctic shrew companions, "Oh my Gawd, did you see those leopard-print Jeggings?" Suddenly, her friends screamed and scurried out of the way. A gargantuan donut, with the words "The Big Donut," was bouncing and careening towards her, nearing a final, perhaps fatal, impact, when Officer Judy Hopps, Zootopia's first bunny police graduate, catches the pastry statuary in mid-air and complimented her pouf, "Love your hair." "Thank you!" Fru Fru squeaked. Little did Judy or Fru Fru know that, in less than twenty-four hours, their paths would cross again; and, this time, Judy's act of kindness would be reciprocated on Fru Fru's wedding day. "Daddy, it's time for our dance!" Fru Fru, still wearing her stunning veil and gown, spins after rushing excitedly into the room where her father, the crime lord, Mr. Big has just commanded his polar bear henchmen to "ICE THEM," referring to Nick Wilde, the fox who sold Big's Grandmama a skunk butt rug, and Judy, who was merely trying to find out what happened to Emmitt Otterton. "Ugh...What did we say? No icing anyone at my wedding!" Fru Fru remarks. "I have to, baby, Daddy has to," Big says in his Marlan Brando-like cadence." "Wait! Wait! She's the bunny that saved my life yesterday, from that giant donut!" "This bunny?" Big questions. "Yeahhh." "Humph," Big pauses. "Put them down," Big commands his henchmen before turning towards Hopps. You have done me a great service. I will help you find the otter. I will take your kindness and pay it forward." Little and big acts of kindness are exactly what you can expect with the excellent service from the Chick-Fil-A located at 10631 Martin Luther King, Jr. Highway in Bowie, Maryland. There, the waffle fries, while a tad salty, are served piping hot, and the spicy deluxe sandwiches are topped with lettuce and tomatoes so fresh that even Judy's overly cautious parents in Bunnyburrow might consider trying a bite or two.

    Extra Large Rudeness

This was hands down the WORST customer service I've ever experienced at any Chick-fil-A. If you're considering visiting the Vista Gardens Marketplace location in Bowie, Maryland, do yourself a favor and avoid it. The management here is incredibly rude and disrespectful. I placed a mobile order for large fries and a drink. When I received my fries, they weren't filled to the top, so I asked Yamileth (Hispanic woman and one of the managers) if they could be topped off. Instead of accommodating my request, she rudely refused and pushed the bag toward me. I then asked another manager, Lee (Caucasian woman), for help. She not only refused, but stated she stood by Yamileth and wouldn't assist either. All of this drama was over something as simple as French fries. It gets worse. I called customer service while still in the store, hoping to resolve the issue. Instead of addressing my concerns, Yamileth, Lee, and another staff member gathered behind the counter, sipping Starbucks drinks and completely ignoring me. They couldn't have cared less. What really took the cake was when Lee saw I hadn't taken the fries from the counter, and she actually threw them in the trash! She then refused to give me a refund. So, I left with only my drink, no fries, and a total lack of respect. I've been to this location before and never had issues, especially when the other manager, Francisco, was present. But on this day, Yamileth and Lee were shockingly rude and petty. It was as if they took joy in making the situation difficult and making sure I left with no food. Honestly, it felt like they were too comfortable disrespecting me, a Black customer, in a predominantly Black area. This is by far the worst Chick-fil-A staff in the county. Avoid this place if you want decent service--I will never be going back.

This is a new Chik Fil a is in the newly constructed Woodmore Commons shopping center at the corner of St. Joseph Dr.and Landover Rd I chose to go to the drive thru. There is a double drive thru and there were 3 employees walking up to cars talking orders. The order process was pretty smooth. But it took way too long for me to get my food. I was in the right lane. It seemed to me that cars in the left lane, which is closer to the building, was moving much smoother. This is a new store and I am sure they will work out the glitches.

It was a bug in my daughters smoothie and the manager was acting like we put it in there!I was not compensated

Good Evening, I'm writing to express my horrible experience with your Chick Fil A location in Bowie, MD (10631 Martin Luther King Jr Hwy Bowie, MD 20720).  I ordered a small strawberry frozen lemonade, a market salad and a medium fry for myself and my young daughter. Upon leaving the store and giving my daughter her food, she took two sips of her drink and found a bug in it.  So I returned to the store to inform the manager, Josh, that there was a bug in my daughter's drink and was met with skepticism and puzzlement like I was lying, when you can clearly see the bug in the drink. I even moved the straw around and in disgust found 1-2 more bugs. Of course this left a bad taste in my mouth and loss of appetite for my entire meal, so I requested a refund. Josh declined a full refund. I then proceeded to record the situation, because as a customer, I was being mistreated about my complaint and the food that I paid for. Josh stood his ground further and said he could not service me because I was recording.  So I then asked how I'm going to be compensated because not only was there bugs in my daughter's drink, my food turned cold because I had to turn around to get back to the store - I had already driven 5-10 minutes out before having to turn back around. Another manager stepped in, offering to assist with the issue, but it wasn't to my satisfaction. After agreeing to a refund, they refunded me incorrectly for the items that I did not order/purchase. I spent $29.14 and was only refunded $18 and left without food because the other manager threw all the food away. When I explained that the amount was incorrect, he said the receipt was already in the trash and refused to rectify the situation. I'm an avid, repeat customer of Chick Fil A and one thing I can attest to is the top tier customer service and I know you hold your staff to a high standard. However, I have never received such terrible customer service and I won't be returning to this location ever again. I'm bringing this matter to your attention so it can be addressed appropriately at the store and to also receive proper compensation.

What must I say! I had the late night munchies! I was leaving target which is located in the same neighborhood. As I looked at the time I saw a had five minutes to place an order. I am currently pregnant at 31 weeks and I knew I could not make a trip home without getting food. My order went through with a minute to spare. Unfortunately, the drive-through was closed. The staff surprise me! They were so hospitable. They told me to sit in a parking lot they will come and assist me. When they came over, I was greeted by Jordan. She informed me that my order did not go through the system, she saw that I was pregnant and I was hungry. She informed me that she will speak to her manager and see what she could do. In a matter of minutes, she made my order to perfection. She truly went above and beyond to make a pregnant lady smile. I am grateful for the experience.

No utensils and the order was incorrect. And the way the drive thru is positioned you can't just run in without being blocked by other cars

This location was so packed on a regular week day afternoon. It was super cold so the outside heater box was not in use. So the line took forever. I made my order and got to the window to see that they did not put the order in right. I always ask for 12 honey roasted bbq packs (obsessed). I get to the window and my order was still not ready and I had to ask for more sauce which took a good two minutes but after waiting 20 to just order it was a painful 2 minutes. The employees were not the typical over excited and over nice employees. The food was delicious as always so I will say, it's unfair for me to rate them low given that the product is always good. Update: Wowzers, came back and had the worst service ever. I mean what is going on with the Chick-Fil-A franchise. I ordered my meals and asked for Large drinks. When I get to the window the lady has medium drinks I asked to upgrade. I got the rolling eyes and her asking the other girl to fix it. You would have thought I asked for them to move a mountain. I am watching them from my car. I see the girl who redid the drink smirk and say something to the girl at the window. I'm thinking they spit in the drink because the girl at the window laughed. Luckily I saw all this. I put the drinks down and come to find out, they will intentionally left the lids off. I was in shock. I called the manager and just had to tell. Chick-Fil-A is known for their customer service and my last few experiences were horrible, not only at this location but at several. I hate coming back. But they have a product that is good. I'm at the point that I'd rather just go somewhere else. How in the world can you have service like this with a faith based business? Sad!

Quick pick me up lunch! Sorry! I ate before I snapped

Who doesn't love Chick-Fil-A!!. Even better, I breezed through the drive-thru line! This location has been known for its long lines. They figured out a great solution by using the good ole cones system to form two lines. Coupled with two team members to take orders, they are now cooking with oil! I used the mobile app and presto chango! Yummy nuggets, nice and hot, Mac and cheese with that browned cheddary top and creamy cheesy macaroni and my sweet iced tea! A meal made for a queen (or king!)

The only thing that Chick-fil-A employees are missing are roller skates, as they greet you in the parking lot to take your order and payment while you wait in line. Our order was even delivered to our vehicle before we got to the window. Efficient service with a smile. Great job ladies!

I'm here at lunchtime and it's filling up which of course is exactly what we want to see. I'm here on the recommendation of someone who has tried these gyros and they know how picky I am about the gyros. Because they're cooked to order , I can tell you that the place is very clean and very organized. The staff is all Hispanic. I don't know what that means, Caribbean chicken, I guess, but since I don't eat Peruvian chicken because it's very very salty, I'm trying the other meals. You can get an assortment of vegetables if that's what you want. I already mentioned there's chicken. You can eat wraps, different sandwiches, and a lot of Latin specialties. one complaint is that since they cook to order and you don't pick up at the table as my gyro, I sat here waiting for someone to call me. I didn't hear my name called out even though they asked for your name. I eventually had to go up to get it. I'm sure it's a little cooler than I would probably like it but we'll see. The final thing is, which I'm beginning to see not just here, A sign begging we want tips and we appreciate it. As for the Sandwich, they use the pre-sliced meat like that you would buy in a kit. . Cut thin and uniform and crisp on the ends. Think of bacon with a identity issue. Bread? it may think its Pita more like pity and last, The dressing was tasty and liberal would have licked it off the bread. Bottom Line, do not come here for the cold gyros , but i'm sure you find other food to like. 2.5 out of 5

If you like the complexity of the flavor of flan, you will love this tres leches cake. Many know that El Pollo Rico in Arlington, Virginia is the original Mac Daddy of all of the Peruvian rotisserie chicken restaurants in the DC area. Decades ago, my tech compadres and I would stand on line in their sparse environs and get a quarter chicken with white meat hacked right in front of you. Just like at all the the Peruvian rotisseries today. Back then, all you could get were fries and cole slaw and no other choices for sides unless you wanted yucca. And one type of dessert. That was it. And it was the best chicken ever. Since then, many places offering Peruvian chicken have become mainstays and Sardi's is one. The original Sardi's, in Beltsville, is usually packed and full of families. The decor is welcoming, the seating area is grand and there are many, many sides to choose from. As well as other menu items. Sardi's has since spun-off as a chain all around the DC area, but with a franchised, methodical approach. The recipe as I've at least observed in this New Carrollton location: big branding, open spaces, a clean and simple aesthetic, booth and table seating, plenty of rotisserie, other menu items, a steam table with sides and many desserts. Oh ... and friendly and helpful staff who really make a difference. The rotisserie chicken seasoning at Sardi's brings much sodium and a pleasant, subtle heat. But it's not excessively spicy, by any means. I think it would be fascinating to know how they make the seasoning. This salt plus heat combo is not what I've been used to - Peruvian rotisserie chicken-wise - for decades, but it is flavorful. I would like to ask the team if they have a sweeter sauce to balance the mild heat. I have gotten my favorite yellow 'Amarilla,' sauce here but it's not what I am used to, either. It's salty and there is no mild sweetness. A purely sweet - and maybe hot - sauce would probably balance the spices of the Sardi's Peruvian chicken well. Btw this heat doesn't slowly build, it's just pleasantly smokey. The fries are served piping hot and tasty if you get them right when they are made. They are big and good. The cole slaw is deceiving because it looks like normal slaw but the flavours are quite intense and lively. I kept serving myself more and wondered if I might have just eaten the whole side dish if I didn't have to share it. The yucca is more tender than I'm used to, if yucca can be. Sardi's masters the art of preparing it so that you're not pulling off the edges and chewing too much. So, yes on more yucca please. The rice is lovely, perfectly clumped and well seasoned. As mild as their rice is, you really don't need to add anything to it, ie butter or whatever. It's fabulous just the way it is. Unless, of course, you are like me and rest the undersides of your rotisserie chicken on the rice to intentionally get a bit of that Sardi's rotisserie seasoning on it. As for the other desserts: we tried the chocolate mousse cake. Cakes this light have easily been stale, but not this one. Our slice was fresh and moist. I've had lighter mousse cakes at fine restaurants which sometimes have notes of 'refrigerator' surface so I was relieved this was not the case, here. There are slightly nutty notes in the mousse. I want to say hints of pistachio but the label mentions "soy tree nut (almond, coconut, hazelnut, pecan and walnut.)" Not sure if they are all blended in but this is a classic and mild, nutty chocolate dessert mousse vs. a super-rich, dark chocolate experience. I prefer the latter. This mousse cake is so fresh that when you open the container, you can immediately smell the lovely chocolate cake. That's saying a lot about their quality control standards, here. I would like to next try the carrot cake and the tiramisu cake, here. Why? Because I know they are at least going to be fresh. And with Sardi's emphasis on good flavors, I couldn't imagine these two desserts would be anything less than delicious. The rice pudding is everything, here! It was so delicious that you could even have it for breakfast: it's cold, creamy, sweet and perfectly flavored with cinnamon. Finally, a note about the staff. They are warm and kind when approached. And people were just helpful here. I enjoyed our dinner and feel that the best thing Sardi's has is a focus on their team being helpful with customers, people having an aesthetic space to dine among one another and a reliable place to enjoy Peruvian rotisserie with a bit of flair.
