I was dining in the restaurant with my husband and daughter when I witnessed the entire interaction. A customer had placed an order through DoorDash but never received it. After becoming frustrated because DoorDash was not resolving the issue, he came into the store visibly upset. Although the situation was outside of Jaelynn's control, she remained calm, empathetic, and respectful throughout the entire interaction. Rather than becoming defensive, she listened to the customer's concerns, diffused the situation with patience and grace, and did everything she could to make things right even though it wasn't the store or her fault. Her ability to stay composed under pressure turned what could have been a much more negative experience into one that reflected positively on the restaurant. As a customer observing the interaction firsthand, I was genuinely impressed by her professionalism, compassion, and commitment to outstanding customer service. I fully support businesses rights to use surveillance but I wholeheartedly believe that there should be consumer protections implemented to ensure the privacy and protection of consumers. I went through the drive-thru for breakfast and also got some ice for our cooler. I placed an order and ended up going through the drive-through line, I spoke with a young lady. She was super friendly, asked me my name for the order and also if I wanted to add anything else which I politely declined and then drove up to the next window. This Chick-fil-A has some nice Christmas decorations up, which was super pleasant to drive through. When I got to the window, my order was ready. I did ask for more jalapeño salsa, which they were so nice enough to give me. It's one of the best salsas you can try in fast food restaurants. It goes perfectly on their hash brown scrambled burrito. It's one of my favorite things from there. I wish they would do breakfast all day long for that burrito. read more

Chick-fil-A needs to bring back the well done button and here's why: Tonight I asked if my nuggets could be made well done and was told by the manager that this is not something that can be done. His words exactly, "we can't refry them." I took his word for it in hopes that the nuggets would be fully cooked. To my surprise they were not which was disappointing. I asked for ice cream in a cup with the cone separately on the side, which I have done many times before at other Chic-Fil-A locations. Today for some reason I was told at this location they could not do this. Instead the flipped the ice cream cone upside down into the cup. I would love to know how that makes more logical sense than doing what I suggested. I would've been okay with it if the manager had not been extremely rude. We decided to grab lunch after our long wait for mask supplies and Chick Fil-A was nearby. I have eaten here maybe a dozen times in my life and when I do it's pretty good. I have to hand it to this location, they had an organized outside program with a cash and credit card drive thru and order takers outside. Not having a menu board stumped us, but the young man taking our order on his tablet knew everything on the menu. He was patient and courteous. I tried to tip him and he said they couldn't, I said sure he could, but he politely repeated himself and I told him to let corporate know my choice and I put the money on his tablet. These kids are out in the sun all day, working hard to make some money and ensure people have food, and he deserved it. The down side was our order though, and I asked the young man if our sauces and ketchup were in the bag and he said yes it is. Chick-fil-A is typically pretty on point with service, but yesterday I did a mobile order well over 10 minutes in advance with hopes of just walking in and my order be ready. (The app is helpful and easy to operate, by the way) When I arrived, there was a line for the mobile order(Door Dash, etc) area. When it was my turn, the employee took my name and said it'll be right up. I am not sure if it was the manager or not but he said don't worry about it I'll get it, I guess she had another task. So i waited about four extra minutes for sandwich(wait for it) and a couple more minutes for my oreo milkshake, which is amazing! So I get home and I then realize I was given the wrong sandwich, I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich with extra pickles, mac and cheese, and my milkshake... I received a spicy chicken sandwich with pepper jack cheese and the normal two pickles. So glad i'm not lactose, I would have been highly upset but I removed the cheese and indulge. A spicy chicken sandwich in my opinion needs extra pickles, so was truly let down about that and the wait since I used the mobile ordering. Also, if you're wondering how their mac and cheese is... it's okay. It was a lot better than I imagined but definitely wasn't anything to hype up. I'm sure your kids would love it. In my opinion Chick fil a delivers consistently good food across most of it's restaurants. The servers are hard working, very helpful, and polite. This location is no exception. It is a very busy place with long drive thru lines during breakfast, lunch and dinner hours. The food is delicious and the restaurant is clean. For breakfast they have various egg sandwiches with a choice of cheese, bacon or sausage. You can have your eggs on a muffin, biscuit, or bagel. Add coffee and hashbrowns and you have a great meal. For lunch and dinner their chicken sandwiches are a must. They offer fried chicken, or grilled chicken sandwiches. Fried or grilled chicken tenders. Add one or more sides like fries, mac n cheese, salads, chicken soup, and fruit. Bring your patience if you plan to use the drive thru. Doing a great job during Covid. I love the curbside pickup option. I stopped going to Chick Fil A years ago because of their long lines inside and drive thru. The food always rocks so I get it. Now I can place my order via the app before arriving, park in open spot when I arrive and someone brings my order out. Simple and easy, no standing or sitting in lines behind people who can't make up their minds what they want. Thanks Chick-Fil-A! We Love Chick-fil-A. My fiance and I visited this location at Causeway and Gornto Lake Road this past Saturday after a nice 15-mile bike ride at Flatwoods. We figured we earned it. Chick-fil-A is ALWAYS busy and you always have to wait but in the time of covid-19, and limited places to go, they seem busier. We arrived Saturday around 12:45 pm and the line was all the way out to Causeway Blvd! The single-file line of cars wrapped around the outside of the property and around back for the cars to enter. Our minds were set on those chicken sandwiches, so we stuck it out. Once the line entered the back of the business, it separated into 3 different lanes. One was for uber eats/food app pick-ups and the other two for the different drive-thru lanes. In typical Chick-Fil-A fashion, they had a superb process in place. As you got closer to the order boards, a team member would take your order on an I-pad. Then, a 2nd person would come around and take your payment for that order. After that, you worked your way around to the pick-up window. Out there, they had a team member handing out the food via a serving tray and doing it as fast as possible. The whole process took about 35 minutes. The staff, despite being out in the heat and dealing with hundreds of customers, were kind and welcoming. That's another Chick-fil-A standard. We got our food home and it was nice and hot still. We both ordered Chick-fil-a sandwich meals. Mine was a deluxe, so it had cheese, lettuce, and tomato. Everything was just as it should be and hit the spot. Chick-fil-a may be a chain but it has a hometown feel to it from the local ownership to the friendly workers. If you get hit with the craving, don't hesitate to stop here. read more

Review update: June 2020 I am very impressed with how this location has adapted due to COVID-19. They all are wearing masks, they stand a safe distance away when taking our order in the drive-thru (indoor dining not open at the time I am writing this). They allow you to swipe your card for payment as opposed to taking the card for you. They 100 percent are doing everything possible to make the experience as safe as possible for involved. They have redirected traffic to only enter the drive-thru from the back in order not to block traffic in Causeway. They have water stations outside for their employees as well as taking shifts to rotate working inside. Gloves, masks, and distancing is exactly what I needed today. This visit gave me hope that it can be done correctly. The food was fantastic as always. --------- Old review of three stars: This is our family go to location. If I was writing this review six months ago, it would be five stars, however something is up with things at this location as of late. I come here for breakfast more often than I care to admit. In the last few weeks the consistency is lacking. Granola and a spoon (both) frequently missing from the yogurt parfait. Splenda missing from the drink or bag almost Every. Single. Time. Their inconsistency in the drive-thru is the only thing I can depend on and this makes me sad. The taste of the food is still good when it is correct. The drive-thru area frequently backs up and if you try to park getting out can be a hassle due to the line. Pro-tip, park in the buy buy baby lot (closest to Chick-fil-A) and walk over (watch out for parking lot traffic!). It will save you a headache. This Chick-fil-A is a hit or miss but mainly a miss. Their wait time is almost always between 15 to 20 minutes no matter what time of the day. Their whole set up needs to improve. They took away curbside but that just made the drive-through longer and more cluttered than it already was. A lot of times something is wrong with my order. Every time I order the kale crunch I NEVER get my almonds. If they don't forget the utensils they give me a spoon when I order a salad. Fries are usually soggy. One of the more poorly run Chick-Fil-A's and they are usually excellent. Lady taking my order was really confused. They were out of strawberry milkshakes and the chocolate shake was not blended well. Tasted bad. They had the strawberry shake on the menu board. Shouldn't you have what is on the board?!?!? Chicken strips and fries tasted cold and not fresh at all. Fries also had a ton of salt on them and a few pieces were burnt. We dined in and order did not come out all at once but in bits and pieces. I had to remind them of the shake as we didn't receive it. Also, didn't give right # of straws. No one walking around to see if customers wanted refills on soda or if trash could be removed. Did not offer any ketchup or ask if we needed any sauces. They did not have kid mat for my child to eat her food or even a plate she could put her chicken strip on, just gave me napkin. Also, kids area is closed down, not sure why this isn't open of schools are open. All you need is proper sanitization and all kids entering should wear a mask. Poor food quality and service needs to improve. Also, parking is a nightmare here. Firstly the entrance to the drive thru is a hazard and hard to get to. Secondly they have way to many people standing outside taking orders, making it even more confusing for the customers and I'm sure it only made it more difficult for the employees inside. And lastly my food was sloppily thrown together and tasted terrible. Wish I could give no stars. I've had this problem now for my second time and it's sad to say but I will no longer come to this location. Chick fil a is a company that is supposed to go the extra mile for their customers and this chick fil a does not do that at all. The first time I came in I ordered a large fry and an 8 count nugget and then asked for a side of cheese and bacon and was told they could not do that. My first job was at chick fil a so I learned the culture and exactly what chick fil a stands for and how they are supposed to ensure the "guests" have a good experience. They told me they couldn't do it but would ask, the employee then went to ask the manager and the manager said no, and the employee came back and said they could not do it. I even offered to pay and they said they can't do it. There is both cheese and bacon in the store so I do not understand why I was denied. On top of that the order came out wrong and I had to go back up to correct it. My second experience happened just yesterday through the drive thru line where I ordered then I got up to the drive thru window and asked if I could get an extra side of pickles. The employee said "we can't do that, but I'll ask" she asked and said "yeah we can't do that" I said "umm you can't give me a side of extra pickles? I will even pay for them if I have to" she's said again "we can't do it". I was frustrated because I even offered to pay. It's as easy as putting pickles in a cup and giving them to me. Everytime I come here, it's something. I usually visit by going through the drive through. On more than one occasion I have gone there an hour before closing. The workers outside aren't listening when they take my order and are in a rush so it ends up being wrong. They have also forgot my sauce multiple times and my most recent visit 3 days ago, I ordered an 8 piece grilled nugget and medium Mac and cheese. I ended up with the crumbs of chicken nuggets instead of 8 full sized nuggets and one was missing!!! They also half filled my medium Mac and cheese that I paid extra for. I'm saddened by the decisions the management of the Brandon location on Lumsden have made in regards to customizing their salads for customers with sensitivities and allergies. My family have been customers of this location for many years and we frequent this establishment often. I've never had an issue before having them hold blue cheese from my salad as I have allergies to it. Tonight April 2, 2022 they told us we no longer customize salads...WHAT?! That's like saying we can't leave pickles off your sandwich or salt off your fries!! It's the most ridiculous thing I've heard. Well sadly neither my family or I will use this location anymore. This is my local Chick Fil A, and as they are very fast and friendly when it comes to eating there, I have noticed a consistent issue. My box of fries is NEVER full. I started changing my order to a large, just to get a medium sized fry portion. Tonight, my large fry portion was like a small, it was THAT bad.
