I am not sure if this is the everyday operations for this location, being across from the Barclay's Center, but it is a bit hectic. There is no parking and the risk you take parking out front come with its own set of issues. The process of picking up orders from the app are very different, its the same as walking in: go check-in and wait outside between 15-25 minutes. Everyone is spread out as best as they can outside telling the workers your name. Then eventually you are called and they hand you food at the exit. The taste is good as any other location but I was not comfortable with the crowded waiting. Maybe there should be a better process/waiting area for the app orders. read more

Okay so.. I love me some Chick-fil-A. Every chick I've been to has been tremendous... except this one. Now , I'm not saying that the food is bad because it isn't .. but it is definitely not as good. Service is a bit slow, but I can't blame them for that cause they are super packed all the time . My normal order is 12pc nuggets with med fries and a lemonade. (I don't eat Chick-fil-A but like 5 times a year so no hate ) Today I decided to treat myself, and got that order. This is the 2nd or 3rd time that I've been to this location and the nuggets have been really really bad . They have weird crunchy pieces almost like cartilage and they are stringy. So this is my first time having Chick-fil-A (well technically my second, but I don't remember if I liked it or not the first time). I ordered the Spicy Chicken sandwich and 8-piece nuggets... they messed up my order. Instead of nuggets, I received waffle fries... I went back to the counter and informed the cashier, who quickly corrected it. When I got back to work and opened my Spicy Chicken sandwich, there were no pickles. I was super disappointed b/c I love pickles... but the nuggets made up for it. They were the BEST chicken nuggets I've ever gotten from a fast food restaurant! For the most part, this is a great Chick Fil A, the staff is mostly polite and the food comes out fast and hot. The problem with this Chick Fil A is the lack of security. I'm sorry to put it like this, but this location becomes ghetto when the kids come around after school. Last time I was there I had to walk out because they were fighting and throwing chairs near the exit, and of course I was in the middle of it. Chick Fil A staff failed to call the police or do anything about the situation. It becomes a huge issue when customer's safety are put at risk. Having a hired police officer on site at all times would solve the problem here almost entirely. My best advice is to avoid from 2-6 that is when this restaurant tends to get crazy. Being across the street from Brooklyn's arena, this place attracts quite a lot of people in the neighborhood/tourists and it is extremely difficult to find somewhere to sit most times. You may have to opt to order take out rather than dining in. The food is good and I enjoy it. Restrooms are very soiled, unfortunately. read more

I came to chic fil a for breakfast. I ordered an egg white grill without cheese. I get to my job and the bread is so hard it feels like a hockey puck. I couldn't eat it. So called the restaurant and spoke to a manager who told me I could get a sandwich during lunch since I couldn't come back at that time. She told me to come ask for her upon arrival. The restaurant was packed! I stood on the line for about 10 minutes, all for the cashier to tell me to step to the side. After waiting another 10 minutes, someone told me that the manager I spoke to was coming( Debra). 10 minutes later Debra hands me a card and then tells me I have to get back on the longggg line to place my order. I went to this location because I was out shopping so I placed a order online to be picked up in store to make it easier for me once I was done shopping. Unfortunately out of the store and mine control there was a Unfortunately incident that happened in front of the store the police closed down all the stores on that street. Even tho we were on line waiting to pick up our order we were able to get it. We was told to call corporate to get a refund. Corporate told us that the store supposed to issue me a refund not corporate the store misinformed us but they will put it in a report to let the store know. So less than 24hrs I received a email saying they don't give refunds. (I know this not to be true because I received a refund from this same location because they had messed up a order and I received a total refund before.) But instead the will give us a rewards for that amount until the end of the year. I'm so upset. First of all I ordered my meal for myself and family and spend $35 and couldn't get my money nor my meal and turned around and had to go somewhere else and spend $35 to $40 at another restaurant. I don't have money to waste or throw away. I'm a single mother who works hard for my money. I don't need a restaurant dictating where my money should go. Its unfortunate that the store lost business because of police actually but all I want is a total refund back to my original payment. I wish they would invest in more training for NYC. By far the worst I've been to - and a bunch of high school kids behind the counter could be the problem.
