    Brooklyn Burger

Amazing food! The chicken burgers are made with thigh meat. The Brooklyn burger was beefy with beef bacon and mushrooms. The sweet potatoes fries were crisp. The service was phenomenal. The cashier was patient and attentive to our questions and our order. The Ambiance was bright and inviting. The eating area was spotless and so was the restroom! I love this! I ... will be back!!!

Probably the best burger I've ever had. Simple cheeseburger medium rare. A work of art. Juicy and amazing flavor. Wish I knew how to make a burger this great at home. Fries are great also. Crispy. Great staff as well

I went back to XO because I was craving burgers again and I had the worst dining experience. They screwed up my order, I paid for a hamburger with bacon combo meal and after 25-minutes waiting, they tell me they ran out of bacon. After I said to give me a regular burger, it took them another 15-minutes to grill a burger. Now I'm asking myself what is the Cook doing for a total of 40-minutes? The store wasnt crowded at all, or this Cook cant grill more than one patty at a time. Very frustrating lunch experience. I asked for a refund because I was charged for the bacon. They didnt offer a refund but they offered extra fries or an extra drink. And when I was leaving, I look back towards the kitchen grill and I saw all the workers on their cellphones. This shift of workers didnt care about customer service. Anyways I cant say I wont be back to XO but there are too many outstanding burger shops in New York City. Businesses lose customers when they stopped paying attention to details.

The service and the atmosphere are great, and this place has the potential to be good. It's also 100% halal. Had the nuggets that lacked the crunchy to it. Couple things they should change about the hot dog. Take all that stuff off the top and reduce the size of the bread. The meat in the hot dog should be the star, not the other stuff. I've never had cheese fries like this lol. Good amount of slaw but not enough flavor. I know its only been a month since they opened, so I will give It another try and see how the burgers and steak taste.

Wooow. I love this place. I tried almost all burgers from them. Everything is house made. Fresh and healthy. For 10 oz steaks 20$ So delicious and high quality. If you burger lover you should try it. Great service!

I love that parkslope opened up a burger spot right on 5th Avenue and 9th Street. Came in on a Thursday evening. The place is clean, nice and bright inside. Staff was very welcoming. We ordered the chicken nuggets, meat lover burger, and the XO classic burger. For drinks, we ordered cokes and regular lemonade. Once our burgers were served, our waiter asked us if we would like gloves, which I was confused at first he explained that the burger is juicy and to avoid a mess, he will give us gloves. Boy, was he right. The burger was super juicy. Cajun fries were well seasoned a little bit on the spicy side. So, for those who can't handle heat, just tell them to go light with the seasoning. Burger was super juicy. I would have liked a little more seasoning on the burgers but overall great burger. Chicken nuggets were ok, nothing to brag about. We did not like the lemonade it tasted more like a seltzer. The waiter saw we did not drink our lemonade and offered us something else. We got an oreo milkshake, which was pretty good. We got to meet the owner and talk with him for a little while. The owner is a super friendly and down to earth guy. We wish him all the best with his new burger restaurant. We look forward to coming back to try the steak.

This burger spot is cool, it popped up on my Instagram feed and I was close by so I had to try it. It's a nice take out spot, no dining but the food came out within a reasonable time and it tasted good

Friendly waitress greeted us and sat us immediately. Menu's came out and they recommended a pizza and burger. We agreed and ordered. It was worth it. Think, juicy and with an amazingly unique taste. The ingredients were high quality, the burger cooked to perfection. The table also split the modern pizza (I think). Both restaurants have been in business for well over half a century with well-deserved accolades. Despite having grown up in Brooklyn, I hadn't been to either before this year. I read reviews and actually asked ChatGPT what to order at R-N-R. We went with its suggestion: medium roast beef with cheese, onion rings, root beer and lemonade. My sandwich was more well-done than requested. They don't offer 'rare'. The few bites with red meat were infinitely better than the rest of the sandwich. The roll, as everyone points out, is baked in house. Though light and puffy, it didn't outweigh overdone beef. Onion rings were great, root beer average, and lemonade -- per my husband who loves lemonade -- excellent. While I wouldn't balk about returning, my vote goes to Brennan and Carr, though truly, when cooked as requested there is no substantial difference. If you take the train, get off at Sheepshead Bay Road and head south. Turn left at Emmons Avenue and keep walking. Twenty minutes all told.

I ordered: * Truffle Maker ($11.59) * Truffle Parmesan Fries ($6.50) * Chicken Bites with BBQ sauce ($8.05) * Large Yuzu Honey Lemonade ($4.00) Truffle maker was pretty good and I was glad I was able to remove the caramelized onions and truffle aioli (I'm picky). The bun is soft and sweet and the burger has a good amount of sautéed mushrooms. Truffle Parmesan fries were pretty standard, but still very good. Yuzu honey lemonade has bits of citrus at the bottom of the drink and it was refreshing. I saved the chicken bites hours later and it was still pretty crispy after being microwave. Texture was reminiscent of Taiwanese popcorn chicken, nicely seasoned. Overall had a pleasant experience, I definitely want to return and try the rest of their menu.

Not all restaurants have restrooms that are made available to customers. That is an A+ in my book. Food 10/10 I ordered Hous Burger (hold the onions. Don't at me) it was pretty good. The taste of their burgers is different from most of the burger places I have tried before. I have also ordered Yuzu Honey Lemonade. I was trying to taste the honey in the lemonade. I guess I was expecting too much. The drink was refreshing. I may try the Matcha Yuzu Lemonade next. I met a gentleman who goes by the name Ten P aka 10pushups on IG. He recommended that I try his cola shake. That is what I got, plus the whipped cream. I was honestly looking for the taste of Coca-Cola because Cola is in the name. Regardless of what I expected, the shake was pretty good. I am not a shake person, so when he asked me to try it, I made an exception. Overall: I plan on coming back to Bun Haus. This was good eats.

We both went with rare roast beef, cheese and onions. T asked for his double-dipped in gravy. Yum! Short of five stars, but yum nonetheless. We ordered two unhealthy sides which added to the decadence of our lunch: corn fritters and onion rings. If you only get one, go with the fritters. The place is busy. I already knew I wanted the double cheeseburger with bacon and egg, so it didn't take me long to place my order. I definitely enjoyed sitting at the bar because the restaurant has an open-kitchen concept. You can watch the chefs prepare the food, which is always enjoyable for me. The burger itself was definitely an experience! It was beautifully presented, and everything was cooked to perfection. Honorable mention goes to the pepper on the thick-cut bacon- it added a nice savory kick to the burger. I had really been looking forward to trying it because I recently passed by Au Cheval in Chicago, but the wait was extremely long, so I didn't get the chance to go. This burger was definitely good. It's not at the top of my list, but it was worth the experience. I must say, it's also extremely high-end price-wise. For just the burger with bacon and egg, plus tax and tip, I paid about $47. Again, it was a treat, but not necessarily one I'd order again. I'd love to try some of the city's other standout burgers before returning for this one. Would I recommend it? Absolutely! Would I return? Sure, but I would probably try something other than the burger next time.
