It is so unique from the slight sweetness and the way it almost melts like mochi. The fresh wasabi on top and the dashi complement the tofu wonderfully. My sister and I got two completely different dishes: salmon ikura soba ($45.00) and black truffle yakuzen curry soba (sub udon noodles) ($58.00 + $3.00). The salmon ikura soba was cold and refreshing on a hot day. While the black truffle yakuzen curry soba was perfect comfort food for a bad day. The waitress suggested I substitute the soba for the udon noodles and it was definitely a great decision. The udon noodles were so chewy and paired perfect with the curry flavors. For dessert we opted for the shiso sorbet ($10.00) and soba ice cream ($10.00). I think the shiso sorbet is definitely an interesting taste, it's tart and definitely a palate cleanser.
