The chicken sandwiches has a lot of fat and grizzle. Today was our last try. I ordered and paid for the 12 count grilled nugget meal, but only got 8 nuggets. The chicken at Chick fil A is decent but not anything I'd go out of my way for. The staff quality and service here is always above the fast food average and the restaurant is clean and ran well. I just don't like that sweet subtle after taste on their chicken. I tried ordering their spicy chicken sandwich to see if I'd like that this time but it was just ok for me. I ordered my daughter some nuggets and she didn't finish them. She said she liked McDonlads nuggets much better. Chicken preference is kind of a personal thing, some prefer Popeyes, some KFC, some Canes etc. If you perfer that Chi fil A flavor this place is awesome. This is for the store manager Cody, who dismissed my concerns for how the allergy food was handled. I do know what I'm talking about since my kid could die from three things. Also I spent four years in school kitchens working with many food allergies and to different levels of severity. I also know state law that for where we are at that if you know of an allergy and willing give it you could be found guilty of assault. Even after saying all of this, Cody just told me not to worry because they change their gloves. Well only the cook does, because none of not most of the other staff do not wear gloves. I do know on the companies website they have legal wording. Maybe that needs to also be trained to all staff or stop offering the allergy sticker it gives a false sense of securiTy. This also wasn't my order that I was worried about then mine came out with allergy on the print out but no red allergy sticker. I would like to point out why Chick-fil-A is America's best fast food chain. After an issue I had during my last visit( see original review below if your truly interested) the owner Joe reached out to me personally. I have to tell you that as an industry professional I truly appreciate the value in that. It means they actually care and it's not superficial. He was very professional addressed the issue and took responsibility. He then explained how it happened and what he was going to do to remedy it. Home run for Chick-fil-A in Castle Rock! Service was good it always is and it didn't take me long to get my food. The problem here is that the last 2 times I have come here they have gotten my order totally wrong. They have done the same thing both times. I always order a deluxe with no pickles. They keep giving me spicy instead of regular and today they gave me a spicy with pepper jack. Not to mention that my small fry was about 1/2 full. I couldn't eat it and ended up tossing it. These guys do a lot in our community and they are a well run company. I get that things happen, but 2x in a row? When this happened last week it was in the middle of there rush. I let it go, But today it was 2:30 pm and they were not busy at all. Out of every chick-Fil-A this is the only one I've had a issue with made a online order 20 minutes before showing up to the restaurant and get told to wait even longer watching other customers get served that just got here didn't have a online order. I basically got told "aww thank you for ordering ahead but now you gotta wait longer" and you know how you can pick how many sauces you got? Like you choose the one and the amount! How do you mess that up I get back to the house with 1 ketchup 1 thing of jelly for a order of 3 people when I know I picked more then just 1 of each .
