This was a quick lunch stop once upon an afternoon. I had gotten done doing business in the area, and I was craving a chicken sandwich from this fine place. So I drove over here for my fix. Much like other Chick-fil-A's, this place was busy. I used their drive thru, which took me about 5 minutes to get through the line, place my order, and get my food. The staff was very busy getting the line going fast, but had the same friendly attitude characteristic of this place. My chicken sandwich was as delicious as they make em at other locations. Rarely do Yelp reviews for a franchised fast-food joint, but I need to recognize this Chick-Fil-A location for having one of the best dine-in experience last night. I accidentally came to this location because the line at Tommy's Original was too long. This ridiculousness happens only during their anniversary, and they were selling hamburgers for $0.73. I walked inside, and they had the entire middle area reserved for a performance by senior citizens. For a usual Wednesday evening, it was packed and jolly. They were signing Hawaiian tunes, Japanese folk songs, elderly standup jokes, and some were up at the front dancing to the song. It was a delightful experience. I was getting gitty because these people were having such a great time! And it got me thinking, Chick-Fil-A is doing something right with the community. My brother says they're seasoned differently from the chicken nuggets so they don't taste like the chicken breast in the sandwiches. There was a line of about 4 other guests, including myself, and the manager told the guest they would have to rejoin the line. This guest became extremely agitated and immediately asked for the manager and was becoming more agitated when she was told she was already speaking to the manager. He expertly explained it would not be courteous for them to allow her to cut in front of the other guests. By the time she was done with her rant she would've been next in line to order and refused to be served by the manager (who, if you know CFA, was probably going to comp her additional items due to the inconvenience). Nice CFA resto with a drive-thru located in the outer rim of the Cerritos Mall parking lot. During peak meal times it can get crowded in the parking lot, so be warned. Like all CFAs I've visited, this one provides good service. Love that CFAs have well-stocked sauce stations so you can choose all the sauces you'll need and how much of each. I also like that they have a place where you can return any unused sauces so they can be put back and not wasted or thrown out. We were here for a Halloween event they had for the kiddos. Kids came in costume, went on a scavenger hunt outside, paraded their Halloween costumes around the resto, and received a kid's ice cream cone and treat bag filled with candy and small toys. They are so nice for families - having a kiddo now, I really appreciate this. This location does not have a kid's play area, but I'm ok with that. I love Chick-fil-a! The employees here are very welcoming and attentive. I went yesterday for dinner around 5pm and it turns out "Da Hawaiian Seniors Club of Cerritos" were setting up. They were having a fundraiser or something. Various hawaiian songs were sung while they played their ukulele's . Also, they did some hula dancing as well. This was so adorable and refreshing to see and hear. Everyone was enjoying themselves and it kept the kiddos entertained. The waffle fries are theee best. They were hot, fresh, and big. (I hate it when i get the small, damp-looking waffle fries). I ordered a the Deluxe grilled sandwich with Colby Jack cheese. It was very flavorful and had bacon. yumm! My friend ordered the Original Chicken Sandwich meal. For dessert, a cookie and small vanilla ice-cream in a cup in which he enjoyed very much. Sometimes, on a nice day I'll sit on the patio and enjoy my food. One random thing I love about this location is that the parking spaces are so spacious. It doesn't have a play area or outdoor seating. It feels like a box inside. The way they have the sauces and napkins set up is too close to the line (which always has people in it- not because they're slow, but because it's so popular). It's loud, they play music loud on top of the people talking. But the food and service makes up for all this! Delicious every time. Polite and courteous staff every time! We recent rode bikes here and saw in the attributes there's bike parking, but we couldn't find it. Locked them up outside on the benches. Our order was ready quickly and we picked out some sauces. I got the Polynesian sauce for my sandwich and we got ranch for my son. We ate in the car so we didn't need to wait for a table. The food was delicious, and the sauce I could have drank it. My son ordered a combo meal so we were able to try the fries. I though they were horrible, limp and no flavor. I find it interesting that some reviewers here have stated that they get sick from the food as I have had an upset stomach from eating here.
