I had no idea that Chick Fil A employees could be rude and super unprofessional. But apparently, the Chick Fil A on Tryon is the ONE. While the drive through line was long, I figured that was no big deal. Chick Fil A is always busy! The line moved at snail pace... once I got up to order, the employee on the other end was cold and not friendly. The employee taking payments outside also lacked any customer service skills. Typically I would brush this off, but unfortunately it was hard to do so. The food came out fine, but I really think this location need a brush up on customer service. The worst Chickfila service I have ever witnessed. It was 8pm on a Thursday night. I stood at the counter and it took 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged I was trying to order. And yes multiple people were walking back and forth the entire time doing what looked like cleaning up so they could leave earlier than take my order. I asked for my order to go, when my food was finally ready she called out my name and it was for dine. I politely said oh I'm sorry I said to go and she rolled her eyes then proceeded to take 4-5 more minutes to simply put my food in a bag and hand it to me. Came here early in the morning for breakfast and as soon as we walked in so did another family. There was only one cashier who immediately called to the back saying there was a large group coming in and at that moment two other employees came out from the back to open three registers. Now that's customer service! I wanted to give 5 stars but the only reason I didn't is because under the booth next to us was a big sticky spot on the floor, like a soda was spilled and not cleaned up. Maybe no one told them but this bothered me because it was super early, like we were the first customers and it was an old spill. Never a disappointment! This is my go to location... it close by to my home and I never have an issue with my order. Today was extremely a amazing day at this location because for the first time there was no line! I drove straight to the drive-thur order window. That never happens, ever. My order was ready at the window and of course I stuck my hand in the bag for a fry' (cmon we all have done that before since we can't wait until we get home) anyways, it was the freshest I have ever taste. I dont know if I was extremely hungry, but it was amazing... I wish I had ordered a large. But any who , very pleased with my visit even though I'm regular. This was my 2nd time having it & this batch was honestly MUCH better than the first time I had it. This one really tasted like a batch of baked Mac& cheese that somebody grandma made. I work in construction and we were working near this particular CFA location on S. Tryon n Charlotte, NC. This is, by far, the worst CFA I've been to. There's were 8 to 9 people behind the counter and only one cashier. Two dark haired women were expediting mobile/DoorDash orders. The line was long inside, so I decided to place a mobile order on the app while in line to circumvent what seemed like a long process. My crew chief had done the same and got his order about 6-7 minutes after ordering. I ordered my usual, paid via the app and waited. As I waited, my chief finished his meal. Five minutes after he finished, I'm still waiting. Five turns to 10 then 12. At that point, I go up to see where I am in the order. I see my bag sitting there - I can't begin to express how frustrating it is to see your meal just sitting there. The young girl touched the bag about 4 times - moving it out of the way to place other orders in front of it. Checking to see if the drink for it was made; discussing the drink for it. They did everything but hand me my bag. I had to grumble to get attention, at which point the more "mature" looking of the two brunettes took notice and asked "what happened?" I said I just wanted my food, I see it right there. She goes over, looks at the bag, has another discussion about the drink then brings it to me. She hands me the bag sans drink, and I swear she looked as if she was done - so I reminded her that I have yet to receive my drink. She actually snapped, "I l know! I'm going to get it for you.!" There were drinks lined up with the bags - why didn't my drink make the cut and get handed to me along with my bag? And why so much discussion about it but no action? And why was she snapping at ME about her faux pas? I actually ordered 2 drinks - a Sunjoy & a water with lemons added - she brings me the water sans lemons and acts as if she is stressed all the way out. Some people should not work in fast paced environments. She seemed as if she needed to find a nice, quiet library to work in and just walk around telling people to "shhhhhh" every once in a while. I tell her to just forget it, I'll stop back by and get it when I'm ready to go because I was dining in. A young man by the name of Davionne, actually brought the correct drink order out to me and apologized for the short fall. I thanked him and started to dig into my meal as he walked away. Just then I discovered how cold my food had become. I returned to the counter with my bag and informed Davionne of the issue; he took the bag and told me he would fix it. He soon returned, apologized, and handed me the bag. Now, I didn't see what happened after he took the bag because people were standing around/blocking the view, but I think he may have handed me back the same bag. If not, then they were giving EVERYBODY lukewarm/cold food. As I stated, I work construction - I didn't have time to wait for new, fresh, hot food and sit down to eat it. That should have already been done. It was the lunch rush, not dinner time - food should be hot, fresh and ready to go due to the constant influx of customers. No food item should be waiting under heat lamps for longer than 3 minutes. And that seems too long during a lunch rush. But I digress; I subsequently, begrudgingly ate the food because it would have been a hassle to get a refund and it was too late to go elsewhere. My chief wanted Chipotle, but I talked him into to going to this CFA location. I had to apologize to him and promised to let him do the choosing for lunch from now on. I ordered a frosted DIET lemonade, when I started sipping on it it tasted like a vanilla ice cream shake, I can't have sugar so I felt it in my body right away, I went back to the window and told the girl I got the wrong thing, she started redoing my DIET frosted lemonade with me watching, I was shocked to see that it actually consists of 75% vanilla ice cream and 25% diet lemonade. I visited this location last Saturday. I stood in line for 30 mins inside when I was finally called to place my order I ordered 2 #4's and a 5 ct nugget. When I looked at my receipt it was a #1 and #2. I had to be refunded and rung up by someone different which took another 10 mins. When I finally received my food it was the original order that was wrong. I had to go back in to have it fixed. This all took an hour which is ridiculous! Despite all the bad reviews I haven't had a problem here yet. Just started working in this area back in June and I often go here during lunch. I will say I have been to faster Chick-fil-a's but this one is not that slow from my experience. I also got my meal on the house once unexpectedly and the staff are always nice just like any other Chick-fil-a. The parking lot is a bit difficult but I went there last week and noticed they placed cones in the lot to direct the drive thru lin in another direction to make it easier for people to get in and out. read more

First time at this CFA. The customer service was a little off tonight which surprised me. After placing a part of my order, the associate prompted to tell me my total...I wasn't finished though. I then finished my order and went to the window. It took almost 10mins for my food to come out. I only ordered 2 meals with no extra work. As is. I was told they were waiting for my nuggets. I said ok. I live 2 lights away from this location. When I got home I realized my fries were cold. Not sure if they were sitting til the nuggets were ready or what. Horrible customer service. I went there today, tried to go in, but that's no longer allowed so I pulled into a curbside pickup #3 to be exact, and called them to place an order. Was told, I have to download an app. That's what they said. I suggested, "how about since we're on the phone, you take my order" that was a "NO". I called back to speak to the manager, after roughly 15 rings, they finally answered the phone. I asked to speak to a manager and was abruptly put on hold. Then someone got on the line and said "yes" not hi my name is Colleen. I had to ask! Regardless, she was very flippant and careless. She told me I could walk up to the door and someone would take my order, to which I replied that I had already tried that. Then she asked me if I was a guy wearing blue? I wasn't! And as random as it seemed to me at the time all it really underscored is the fact that something of the same nature had already happened today to someone else. A new job has me working on this side of town now and I must say, this Chick-fil-a is pretty impressive. Supposedly, they underwent a renovation recently so the layout is slightly different from others. The ordering station is much larger and once you've given your order, they give you a container (filled with any sauces, if you'd like) and instruct you to pick your seat because they bring your food directly to you. *insert praise hands emoji here* I was here during the peak lunch hour (about 12:15ish) and it was busy but the line moved quickly. However the parking lot is a cluster so pack your patience and drive carefully! read more

This particular Chick-fil-A has to be the slowest one I've ever been to in several states. It doesn't matter the time of day, the drive thru always has a long line and moves so slow. Today, I all I wanted was to try the new Peach Lemonade. As I pulled into the parking lot there were easily 10 or so cars in the Drive Thru and it wasn't moving. I decided to park And run inside and there were just as many customers in line. That's great business except I only saw 2 people working the front and 2 working Drive Thru. One was bagging orders and another cleaning the lobby. Clearly they were understaffed. I turned around and walked out empty handed. I know this is a franchise, but corporate Chick-fil-A should get involved. This location is not a good representation of the brand. Just look at the reviews. If I could give this establishment a negative star I would. I've never had an awful experience at Chick-fil-A until now. Green light in the drive thru was still on and it was 10:01 pm. Nobody answered the drive thru so we pulled around. There was at least 10 employees who looked at us and didn't come to the window either. My husband knocked on the window and asked for a corporate number and the employee comes back with it written on paper and holds it up through the window and says I can't open the drive thru window it's policy so you are gonna have to right it down. He had a shitty smirk on his face mmmkk fine so we took a picture of him holding it up.
