It used to be a favorite of mine because of the great service. Now the service and wait time is insane and not very timely at all. Typically it's very good here. But the last two times have been subpar to say the least. For instance today, got spicy chicken meal and the bun was so stale that I took it off and threw it away then proceeded to eat the chicken with my hands. 315pm on a Friday afternoon and not busy at all. I always preorder using the app to mitigate confusion and frustration with a long line, but at this this it really didn't matter; my son and his friend go in to get our food and sit down, I take our dog for a walk. About 15 min later I come in and they are standing at the pickup area still waiting. I'm not sure what happened but no one even asked to help them out. Our food was finally brought to us a few minutes later. I reordered 2 medium fries for dine-in and 5 min later I had to request them and the reaction was as though they didn't realize I wanted them. The service was terrible for every one, so maybe this is the F team right now. The fries were about half full and my tea was sweet not unsweetened. Perhaps they were waiting for someone that looked like the name on the order and not two young boys but you can always ask and service is inconsistent and subpar as I watch this place in action. Interesting as we finish our meal... the manager is coming around and it appears the workers finally have their crap together, but the service is still slow as molasses. I appreciate that the store reached out to me out of concern regarding my review; I was in the process of updating my review as this morning I went in to the this location after leaving an item on Friday. I called three times to find out if what I left was still there. I was told each time they didn't find it. But this morning I spoke to team leader Tara and she looked for about 15 minutes and was very polite. The service was moving also, even though I hadn't ordered anything. Good thing I don't live in town because I would never come to this location again. I had been sitting in line waiting to get breakfast for 10 mins with my family. They took SO LONG to get through 4 cars that it was 10:33 when we were finally able to order and they refused to serve us breakfast because it was past 10:30! I have never in my life been to a restaurant that immediately stops on the dot and doesn't at least serve the people that were in line prior to that time cut off. I went in for a mobile order that was placed at 8:25. I did not get my order until 9:13pm. I sat while two different people came in an ordered after me and received their food. Also, each of the employees that was working tonight were talking about a customer that walked out angry. I almost walked out myself. Olivia was passing out orders and she was super rude. She had a nasty look on her face and did not say you're welcome or anything just completely ignored her customers. I am super angry that I waited over 45 minutes for my food when people who came AFTER me got served first. The only respectful employee of the night was Lindsey. Good job Lindsey! I was in eastgate for work and my hotel was located right by this chick fil a location. I was sooooo happy to see a chick (because I'm from atl) so I stopped in twice while on my trip. I've got to say the chick fil a culture is consistent from Georgia to Ohio. The staff was on top of things even during the busy lunch rush and the older lady who was working was seriously so sweet and friendly. When I got back to work and opened my lunch I was pleasantly surprised. It was a chick fil a dream come true.....I GOT TEN NUGGETS rather than my 8 count. BEST DAY EVER! This is probably my favorite place to eat during the week. We decided to go through the drive thru and that in and of itself took almost 30 minutes. The one day that my husband and I forgot to check through the bag, we were missing a 12 count nugget when we ordered two twelve count meals. We had already arrived at home. How do you forget a 12 count nugget? I called and the lady on the phone seemed to not care and didn't even apologize when I drove the 15 minutes back to get the nuggets. She didn't even offer to throw in anything extra or even an apology. I was very disappointed in this experience. CFA Eastgate has really gone down hill in my opinion. They used to be fantastic and always on top of everything but now that is not the case. I'll be going to the Anderson location for now on due to the negative experiences I've heard of and experienced here. read more

I have been frequenting this location since it opened. I would have given it 5 stars before COVID. Since COVID this place is terrible. They still have their dining room closed when most dining rooms are opened. They quit doing the curbside ordering through the app. So the only way to get food here is to set through the ridiculously long lines. The only time the lines are bearable is during breakfast. Why not go then? Well I like 95% of people have to be at work at 8am, and they changed their hours and don't open till 8am. I even think the quality of food at this location has went down in the past year. Every time I've went to beechmont I've ordered through the app, walked in and quickly received large delicious chicken sandwiches. In the past year I've been to the eastgate location maybe 5 or 6 times, every time, I've had to sit forever in a drive thru line only to leave with chicken sandwiches that are seriously half the size of what I get for the same price from the same restaurant 4 miles down the road. Better food, better portions, better hours, better pick up options all just 4 miles down the road. I'd much rather go to the eastgate location as it right by my house, but until they step up their game to the pre COVID quality they used to provide for years I'm done. I'll just drive to beechmont. read more

Two friends and I sat in the back corner of the Chick-fil-a next to our home, which we frequent. We ate lunch and were quietly chatting a bit when the hospitality very blatantly and rudely asked us to leave. The restaurant was not at all busy. There was no justification for kicking out my party of three, and we are extremely dissatisfied with this treatment. The woman in charge of lobby hospitality went so far as to tell my brother to come up to the front of the restaurant if he needed anything else, instead of doing her job properly and getting him a refill herself. read more

Been in drive thru line for 10 minutes and still have not ordered. This is in my experience the slowest drive thru service of any Chick-fil-A I've ever been to. The food I don't have an issue with. I know they are short staffed but I do not blame those working there. Management needs to do a better job to improve the AM drive thru service. This location consistently either forgets a part of our order or gives the incorrect drink. Of you ask for Colby cheese on a sandwich, expect to wait an additional 20 mins. Management is sub-par in recognizing these issues. Do yourself a favor check your order before leaving or just go to the Beechmont location. It's worth the extra 6 minute drive. read more

The food is good, the place is almost always busy. The drive-thru can be quite a wait though. Staff are friendly and courteous. Chick-fil-a gets some bad publicity for making their views known but I find it nice that a quasi-chain stands up for what they believe in. Also, who doesn't love the signature cow? I sometimes worry about the unrelased information of antibiotics in their chicken but really, its semi-fast food and should be expected (better than McDonalds I am sure of it). The salads are amazing and the waffle fries are a plus. The Eastgate location is the busiest, in my option but features the best service and food. Nice company with delicious food, it's a plus all around. read more

This is my first negative experience. I've never ordered anything for myself except salads. I used to love the Asian salad but now get the southwestern salad. At one point the chicken was warm. Now always cold, which seem to me that made a hug. But I always do salad greens for fresh or combination of Romain if you agrees today... Not so much. Just tough romaine leaves with cold chicken. For fast food, this place is awesome! Their meals are made of quality ingredients, and their milkshakes are the best around. I went through the drive through at the Eastgate location (always a huge line), and the wait time was surprisingly short. Chick fil a in Eastgate is always an awesome choice. The restaurant is super clean and the food is always excellent. I have never had a bad meal from them. The only downside is that they are always busy! That isn't a bad thing necessarily, but they are so busy because they are so good. This location is excellent! read more

Usually any Chick Fil A would get a five star rating from me. They have excellent customer service and they're always so polite, they're known for it, but tonight may have changed my mind. I walked in to order three separate meals for my brothers and I and there wasn't too much of a line but the person in front of me was being indecisive and so a line of ten or so people filed in behind me. There was one girl working cash and there was one just kind of making herself look busy behind her. As I was standing in ear shot of the conversation, the girl said "I can't take her order, I don't like her," and walked away and the girl working cash started to snicker. The line behind me kept growing and finally once the person in front of me got their drinks I walked up and started to order. As soon as the first girl started taking my order, the other girl who claimed to "not like me," hopped on her cash register and started greeting customers. I had been standing in line for about five minutes with plenty of people behind me while this girl "busied" herself behind us. I shrugged it off and didn't even think twice about it until I was waiting for my food and this girl was standing there while taking another customers order and just giving me horrible looks and then trying to play it off as if she was looking behind me. I usually wouldn't even think twice about a situation like this, but I felt when it came to Chick Fil A's reputation that it was completely unacceptable. I called management and they didn't seem too worried, just said they'd talk to her and hung up the phone. I'd also like to add that I did not know this girl, she was just being nasty for no reason. Always great. Great chicken sandwiches at a reasonable price. Very clean. Above and beyond staff. They just need a 2nd drive thru....yum
