I can honestly say that I have never had a bad experience at a Chick-fil-A. Not ever in any location. That is, until yesterday at this location. I came in to make a take out order. I made it at the counter with no problem at 12:13 p.m. Then I stood and waited while Door Dash orders after UberEats orders were fulfilled. Yes, I know that they are to make things in order but that just didn't seem the case yesterday. Those orders were definitely taking priority. Then after 15 minutes customers waiting were told that the screen had gone down and that they were behind about 10 orders. She also said that we all would be getting discount coupons to compensate for the time. Then I watched multiple more Door Dash and UberEats orders get fulfilled. I continued to patiently wait but my order didn't come. What I did see is several Door Dash drivers and UberEats drivers getting discount coupons for the food that they didn't even pay for and many didn't even wait long for. My order was finally given to me 32 minutes after I ordered and paid. No discount coupon, no apologies, and one of the orders of fries was nothing but broken crumbs of waffle fries. The sandwiches, while warm, were definitely not hot and neither were the orders of fry crumbs. The service was still friendly. Chick-fil-A has the best customer service in terms of being polite and respectful. But yesterday was a mess. read more

It was Monday night at 7:30 pm. The bacon on my Grilled Jalapeno sandwich was overcooked and in pieces. Someone needs to remind the manager she works for Chick-fil-A, not Wendy's. The line was wrapped around the building more than ten cars deep, and the staff was so nonchalant, there was not a bit of hustle to get the orders out. She had someone out cleaning the outside tables that could have been pulled to expedite the orders, but instead we sat in line for over 15 minutes to get our order. Definitely one of the better fast food chains in the area just because the service is always good. I don't eat here too much, but once in a while I'll stop by if I'm limited on time for lunch. My husband typically likes to get the original Chick-fil-A sandwich which he really enjoys and I get the deluxe spicy chicken sandwich. Food is always tasty - So my 1st world complaint is that I dont like not being able to view the menu when an employee is taking my order in the drive through line. Every once in awhile, I want to take a quick look at the menu board to decide what I want. I went the other day. I had not been there in months and couldnt remember my salad options. AVOID THIS PLACE! Felt like an orchestrated "Bait and Switch" scheme with the mobile app ordering. Very disappointing for a Chick-fil-A. Here's the story with the names of the admin staff involved (or so they reported to me): We mobile ordered 3 sandwiches last week. Picked up the bag and one of them was the wrong sandwich. Thinking it was an innocent mistake, I called and they said they'd put a credit on the rewards account, "We want to make this right for you". Went to order again this week, and there was no credit, no points, nothing. Called the location again, "Oh we can't add the points now because they won't hit your account until tonight or tomorrow so you won't be able to use it on this order.". Go ahead and place your mobile order now and we'll watch for it and add the sandwich. We want to make this right for you". So we added sandwiches to our order to try again. When we arrive to pick it up, we were short a sandwich again. I asked to have the sandwich I had paid for. When I asked to talk to Joe, the store manager I had talked to on the phone, another staff member stepped up and was very belligerent and rude. She proceeded to try and tell me what was said on the phone call that she hadn't even participated in. I told her I was disappointed in her attitude and asked her who she was. Turned out she was the regional manager Jay Carter. When I asked for her boss's information she said she didn't have a boss. I asked for her supervisor's information, she didn't have a supervisor she said. Finally I said you must report to someone . She then accused me of scolding and yelling at her employees and kicked me out of the store. I had not raised my voice even once up to this point. I tried to demonstrate for her the difference between talking and yelling and that was not well received. Finally I asked her to write down her name, her executive directors name, Dan Hopkins, and a way to contact him. "He can't be contacted". I said I would gladly leave after they either gave me the sandwich I had paid for, or my money back. Well Dan Hopkins, if you really are the executive director (which I have to say sounds questionable given her reluctance to provide your name), after being charged for a sandwich I didn't receive, trying to be polite and making THREE calls to this store, dealing with a very rude Jay Carter, being threatened by this person, and having to stand my ground to get what I had paid for, I'm trying to contact you. This sounds not like an innocent mistake but an orchestrated bait and switch. Others please beware. I would strongly avoid this restaurant unless you like to get swindled and treated very rudely. read more

They even reconstructed their drive-through for two lanes like all the rest of them, but they're still super slow backed out to the road have one guy working and now this morning they're out of chicken fillets for the biscuits like hello this is like what you do, right?! This is my 3rd time trying this location since it reopened. I've had order mess ups (missing food, no straws or utensils) but today takes the cake. I picked up my order and when I got home I discovered that the lid to the bowl of chicken noodle soup was not on securely and most of it was in the bag when I arrived home. To note, the order was in the paper bags then in a plastic bag. Also, I was not the driver so I was the one holding the bag on the car ride home and it was a smooth drive. Chick-fil-a doesn't disappoint! Customer service is always a priority to the staff, everyone is always cheerful/accommodating, and the restaurant is kept clean. I've been to all the locations and would say this one can get very busy during lunch time hours. They handle it well you still get your food in a timely manner. Overall, I don't have much to say negative about Chick-til-a. It's always been my go to fast food place, they have good healthy options, and you do pay a little more than it's competitors but it's worth the quality food and service. I'm a huge fan of the new Frosted Key Lime drink, frosted coffee, and frosted lemonade...it's the spot during these summer months. read more

I dont come to Chick fil a very often as it is so busy at every time of day whether you walk in or drive thru, so this is a huge deterrent. I was recently sick with walking pneumonia and all I wanted was something soothing to my throat so I stopped here for some chicken soup and their new Key Lime Frozen Lemonade. The chicken soup was actually really good for a fast food restaurant! My key lime lemonade was great... its a combination of slushie and ice cream which is the perfect throat coat. Sonic used to have something similar which they did away with so here I am. The SLOWEST Chick-fil-A in the world. I love Chick-fil-A and will stop for a quick lunch at least once a week. I'm not in this area often but I have been to this location multiple times and every time I get stuck in the drive through for 20+ minutes. My food was barely warm when I got it so that tells me we weren't waiting on the food. The employees seem oblivious for how slow the service is because they were taking long pauses talking and laughing and socializing instead of quickly taking transactions and passing the food out the window. This is the worst chick-fil-a in the greater cincinnati area. I go through the drive thru, the right before the lunch rush, there was one other car. I ask for two VANILLA iced coffees and a sandwich with no pickles. And oh do you mind just giving me a large empty cup so I can combine my coffees. Get up to the window and have to wait 5 minutes before this clueless girl in the hat shoved two bags in my car window causing me to have to lean back and says "Amanda". I said um no I'm not Amanda. Like why would you shove the bags in my face before even confirming it's the correct car. She hands me my correct order and my iced coffees are in two styrofoam cups. I said oh no honey I asked for just an empty large cup not styrofoam cups for my coffees. She said okay I'll just get you a larger cup then. She gives me the cup, i taste my coffees and they are clearly not vanilla. I dumped them in the empty cup to see if maybe after a little stir I'll be able to taste the flavor. Nope. So I have to pull around and go inside. I go inside and see a woman in a red shirt behind the counter just standing not doing anything, so I explained to her that I just needed two vanilla iced coffees because mine weren't vanilla, and that it was in a large cup because I combined them. I set the cup on the counter. She looks at me as if I just rattled off rocket science and says "okay thank you." and walks away. She ever obviously wasn't English speaking, which is not a problem, I'm just not sure why she would be in a costumer service role. She walks back to a heavier set lady and starts talking to her and the lady starts shaking her head and looking at me and then goes over to her expo screen and pages back to find my order as if i was lying or wrong even though I had my receipt in my hand. She walks over and says "I need to take this" Talking about the big cup. I explained to her that I didn't want them to make it in the big cup, I'll just take two new VANILLA coffees and combine them myself. Just like I told the drive thru. The she went back and forth to the heavier set lady who was hiding behind the wall two times, me explaining to her each time "I just want two vanilla iced coffees." The clueless girl from the drive thru came over and said what wrong. I said please just get me two vanilla iced coffees, the first two weren't vanilla, I just want two vanilla iced coffees. She said "So you changed it now" WITH AN ATTITUDE!!! I said "Nothing changed. I told the drive thru I want two vanilla iced coffees, and an empty cup, I don't know what's so hard about this." The lady in the red walks away and goes behind the wall where I assume the heavy lady and the coffee station is behind. It took them 6 MINUTES to pour 2 vanilla iced coffees. The red shirt lady finally comes over with them in her hand. She said taste these, I tasted it, could barely taste any flavor, I asked her for an empty cup, she brought one over. I combined my coffees and she walks away and turns her back to me, I waited 2 more minutes to wait for someone to walk past to ask for a lid. After they took 6 minutes to make two iced coffees, I assumed that they did something to them, spit in them or something else gross based on the major attitude I was given after just asking for my order. I threw it away. In total, I spent $11 on a sandwich and two vanilla iced coffees that still didn't taste like vanilla and I didn't even get to drink. As WELL AS, 30 minutes of my time!!!! I am so over this location after multiple instances of them messing everything up. The Rubio Chick-fil-As are much better and the staff is a lot nicer and more intelligent. Since Mr. Sutton is no longer onsite the service on the front of house and back of house is pitiful. Slowest service and prep in area, orders incomplete or wrong, and never accepts mobile orders likely due to the poor staff and management performance. Definitely not what CFA stands for. Poor management, I ordered two sandwiches one with no pickle . After I paid , they told me we have no plain chicken, we can pick the pickles off and give you a sandwich. I have been having major pregnancy cravings for market salads with chicken nuggets on top so have been stopping at Chick Fil A Eastgate each week to satisfy those cravings. Sadly, my orders have been a bit off the mark last week and this week. I went thru the drive thru last week and when I got home realized that the nut blend packet that comes with the salad was missing- one of my favorite components. This week I went inside and ordered 2 salads, one with grilled chicken and one with the nuggets. When I got home, I realized that both of the salads had grilled chicken, no nuggets. If it wasn't a 40 minute round trip to drive 2 miles (gotta love traffic on 32) I would go back to fix it. :( read more

When I began to eat my fries, I noticed they had about 5 times the salt that they would normally have. My wife noticed the same thing with her fries. When I took a bite, I was actually crunching on salt. Then I happened to notice something black in the middle of the container. I dug it out and it appears to be the lid of a salt container. I'm soon moving out of Eastgate so in honor of my 2+ years living here, I have to pay homage to all the bizzes in the area that I frequent and somehow have yet to review and the first one goes to Chick-fil-A. This has been our go-to chicken eatery for some fast and tasty (and macro friendly) eats throughout the week. The service is always pleasant and the orders are always accurate. Plus the curbside pick-up and mobile orders really help you ease the pain of going during peak business times (i.e. don't you dare try to come here between 12-2pm and not mobile order because you'll be in line FOR DAYS). And if you don't know about their app, guys you gotta get it. You get free rewards just for buying on the app plus you can place orders before you even leave your house and you can either go through the drive-thru and grab it, walk inside to pick it up or go to their curbside pick-up for someone to bring it out to you. LIFE CHANGING We also spring for the classic chicken sandwich or some chicken nuggets, and only if we go here on cheat meals do we spring for the waffle fries. Something I'm dying to try those is their milkshakes - I've heard INSANE things about that cookies and cream milkshake and I need to get it in my life ASAP. The food meets the standard of Chick-fil-a, but this is the slowest service of any Chic-fil-a I have enjoyed. When I place an app order for carry out it can take 25 minutes or more. I attempted to pick up my app order in the drive thru line (been reluctant based on the number of cars in the past), however I have now been in line for 41 minutes and am still 9 cars from the window. This chick fil a takes forever. I waited in line for 25 minutes via the drive thru. They take my money, hand me my drinks and tell me to pull up infront of the building because we're waiting on nuggets. I have no clue where to go and have NEVER had this happen. The guy came out and went to each car trying to Gove the food away. I literally yelled out asking if that was mine and told him I called to tell them I was in the handicapped parking because there's literally no where to park "infront of the building." So I get the food and check it. I asked for 4 ketchup, 4 hot Buffalo, 4 maynaise, and 4 ranch. I got a handful of chick fil a sauce, barbecue sauce and 2 other nasty sauces. I marched in there and got the correct sauce. These kids are just worried about social media and being on their phones. I will never be back. Third bad experience here, and I'm done. read more
