I've eaten here plenty of times but today......it was terrible. The attitudes were flying, my pleasures were mumbled, food was subpar. I had a hair in my salad and it was black/short. They gave us attitude and dirty looks when asked to remake the order as if we put it in there. I had taken MAYBE 4-5 bites out of the salad!!! I went through the drive through to get some lunch and because it was around lunchtime it did take a while to get to the menus and to order. Other than that, the food was hot and brought out fast from when we ordered it. I just got a regular chicken sandwich with pepper jack cheese and my friend got a 12-piece nuggets, both came with large waffle fries. They also gave us plenty of dipping sauce. The main problem we had was with our sweet tea, it didn't taste the same as it usually did and seemed old/watered down. Chick-fil-a is a good place to go if want some decent food for you and your family, as I've never experienced any problems with the food I've received. There is something in the water in north Alabama. Customer service is out the window. We pull up for breakfast, and the person forgot to get our order so we are waiting while cars are driving around us in the other lane. She does come over and apologize so we take it as an oversight no big problem. We pull to the window. Again they seem to have no system to know the order of things or who is who. We do finally get our order. I ordered a breakfast bowl, no napkins no utensils. I was hungry but eating eggs covered in salsa with your hands is not ideal. Honestly if this was any other fast food restaurant i wouldn't have been so annoyed but it's chick fil a. VERY slow!!!!! We pulled up at 6:30 pm and not a lot of cars in the line. It took over 30 minutes to get our food. When we pulled up to the window the girl that was working the window was complaining, dancing, and honestly just acting very off. She then handed us our bags with no utensils, napkins, or straws for our drinks. We don't typically check our bags at chick-fil-a, but we will start now. If this was any other fast food restaurant, I would expect this service and quality. However, chick-fil-a usually has higher standards of service. This was not up to par for chick fil a. The only issues i saw were 1. Service (Moving so slow if the building didn't have a roof Buzzards would be circling) 2. cleanliness of the restaurant ( floor looked like Bourbon street during mardi gras 3. employee hygiene. Stopped in today for my Chick-fil-A calendar item, Grilled Chicken Sandwich. It was delicious! Not much to mess up, but hot and fresh none-the-less. Honey BBQ sauce is a must for me. Just set the sandwich off. The staff was super friendly and attentive. There was a lot of employees behind the counter. Probably a good thing since the drive-thru was loaded with customers. One thing I did notice though was some people use the parking lot as a pass-thru to get onto 67 East. A man in a Subaru, sped around me on the highway, and made a left off of US 31S in front of me and proceeded to not-so-slowly (not demonic speed though) drive through the parking lot to Hwy 67. He could have just made a U-Turn onto US 31N, but there was traffic coming and it was easier to just turn into the parking lot. This Chick-fil-A is usually pretty slow, the drive thru line always takes a very long time, I once waited in the drive through for 30 minutes. They also usually forget the sauces and spoon/fork when ordering mac and cheese or soup. read more

I have never had a problem with any Chick-fil-a anywhere at anytime. Today I placed a mobile order to be picked up by my husband. The salad was left off the order. I called and was told I had to come into the store and show proof of purchase. It's my understanding that they don't start the order until you get there. Why wasn't the salad not ready and everyone looking confused. After speaking to two different people a manager walks up and ask the white patron about her order when the way we were standing I was there before her. This is literally the worst CFA I've ever experienced. Between waiting forever in the drive thru (because they have no other option) and my orders always being incorrect, it's a nightmare. So not worth it. They need employees! So sad what our Decatur CFAs have come to. If I'm craving CFA, I try to wait until I'm in Huntsville. I have always been a CFA customer and have visited this location a lot, but recently their health rating has gone from 94 to 87. They have their health rating posted, but have it mounted on the wall behind the counter and customers cannot read the reasons for the low health score. I had ordered my food online and forgot about their rating until I went to pickup my food. I had them refund my money and told them until they get their health rating up, I would not be back. One of the workers told me they did not like the score they received. I told them it was no one's fault but their own as the management has allowed this to get worse. read more
