Ordered car side takeout and parked in the designated spot. Five minutes later a young lady comes out with our order and walks all around the parking lot with coming to the designated spot. My wife goes in to get her as the come out she hands her the drinks with one not sealed and spilling on my wife and almost into the car. We advise this needs to be fixed in which storms off mumbling under her breath. As five more minutes of waiting my wife has to go back in to get our drinks! Terrible service and attitude!! read more

I just started a restricted low-carb diet. I have been glad to discover that Chick-fil-A has some good options for people who aren't eating bread. I stopped in this location to have a grilled chicken club with lettuce instead of a bun. The sandwich is messy but delicious. The first bite of bacon, cheese and chicken is full of flavor and makes the absence of bread easier to forget. The restaurant has a beautiful reconditioned table with a metal plate describing where it came from: "This table was built by artisans from A Better Way Ministries. The materials used were salvaged from unwanted and abandoned homes. The hands that built it belong to a person who also once felt unwanted and abandoned. Visited last evening around 9:30pm. Ordered a number one meal with cola and was offered a refill. The second order was a grilled chicken which was fresh and delicious. The number one was tasty and the fries were crisp and salted to perfection. The staff was so friendly and the place was clean and very quick service. It was almost closing and I was most impressed with the rapid service, fresh and hot food, and friendly staff throughout. Upon walking in they seemed really clean. Restroom was mediocre. Normally I don't usually have a lot of problems with chickfila.. I mean it fast food on the upper end. I got to ordering for To go. I don't expect too much. I thought I explained myself well. I wanted a fish filet patty on the side with superfood salad and a medium fry. She rang me up for the whole sandwich meal with fries and superfood salad . Well I figured that's fine.. Maybe she couldn't ring it up any other way. I'll just take the fish patty and throw away the rest. Maybe I paid a little extra for them not ringing it up right. Went on to eating my fries. They lacked any salt and the waffles fries were cold and hard. I normally am excited to eat my waffle fries. I should've checked my entire order in the bag before leaving. Sad to say. Heading to Dulles airport and unhappy with the quality of food put out and my order not being rang up correctly. I had the absolute WORST experience I have EVER had at ANYA fast food place I have EVERY had my whole life at this chick fil on May 10... The manager...I think her name is Debra...it starts with a D....is HORRIBLE... I got to chick fil a @ 9:59 pm and all I waned was a lemonade...that's IT. I didn't want any food...I didn't want anything that would take any of their time...there were PROB 4 people in the lobby waiting in line to place their orders...and someone in the drive through. As soon as I walked to the door, someone came and locked it. I saw that the lemonade was still running and so I knocked on the door and a girl came to the door and told her all I want is a lemonade, is that okay and she said SURE, come in...I walk in and get in line....all of a sudden, Debbie (Debra?) starts talking to me in a VERY high and condescending voice and tells me that the registers are closed so I can't have a lemonade...note, there was someone in front of me that hadn't paid yet....I am NOT someone that makes a scene..so, quietly, I walk out and back to my car while I send out a couple texts that had nothing to do with what just happened and was putting my destination address in the gps when I see a lady pull up and get out of car and starts walking towards the door...I roll down my window and tell her that they're closed and that to be careful bc the manager lady is VERY VERYA rude and disrespectful... She says "really? This sucks..." And NO JOKE, walks to the side door and gets let in the door...I watch this whole thing. I'm right up front next to the door so I can see EVERYTHING...so I see her pull out her credit card and hand it to the cashier...and this is when I start to somewhat get very VERY FRUSTRATED... So I walk BACK to the door except this time to the side door and knock on it...a guy named Dillon ( a VERY NICE and incredibly RESPECTFUL young man) opens the door for me and tells me to come in, that he will let me order a lemonade....and here comes the manager..."I TOLD YOU...the registers are CLOSED..." Me: "Mam, I just watched your staff member (not Dillon) let this lady right here in the door and she just placed her order and handed them her card"... She walks away from me and to behind the counter...and comes back... Debra (Debbie?) :....well, I told you that the registers are closed and this lady placed an online order and we were just VERIFYING her card".... Note: at this point it was around 10:20-10:25 pm. Me: "if she placed an order online, why wasn't she here by 10:00? She knows Yall close at 10...so if you can serve here right now, I don't understand why you can't serve me....I don't have cash..i Have a card...so it's not like I'm looking for change...but if you want cash, I can go scrounge up some money from my car and I'll give you the EXACT money , I don't need it, this way you can NOT worry about having to Worry about the register....".... The manager realizes that I'm not just gonna let this go bc what she was doing was wrong....so I asked Dillon is she was a manager and if she was the head manager and he said she wasn't and was COMPLETELY 100% ON MY SIDE and agreed 100% that she was being RIDICULOUS.....she heard me asking all of this and offered to give me a FREE lemonade...but offered it in such a condescending, hateful, rude, sickening tone of voice....and I told Dillon that I was going to call corporate on her and make them aware of this situation... On a side note, come to find out, I was made aware that that lady DID NOT place an order online...the manager just said that.... I guess she would rather LIE and lose money than just let me buy a lemonade....but it sounds like they don't pour it out at the end of the night...it must be reused the next day and a new batch is NOT made until this batch is complete gone...bc if this WASNT this case, they would be TRYING to sell their lemonade so that they wouldn't have to waste all that and lose money...but nope-guess not. GROSS! So at 10:30 pm, While pulling away, I called corporate and made them VERY well aware of what happened and they were soooo shocked....so apologetic....hoping to hear from the Head manager of that store SOON.... Sooooo at the end of the day, if you want good service, don't go when Debbie (Debra?) is on manager duty..,bc shell treat you like shit....simply bc she's a miserable and unhappy person. I love chikfila! I usually go to the one at pw pky. Today i tried the Dumfries location as i was near there. Big mistake. The spicy chicken was shrunken, overcooked and not what i usually get from chikfila. The fries were fresh but undercooked. Went through the drive through so not feasible to go back to complain. My daughter wanted chi fil a for her birthday so I went to this one. I prepared myself for the long drive thru and was there 25 minutes. Oh well that isnt even the problem. My family likes there sauce and uses it on chicken and all the fries so i asked for 24 and 4 ketchups. I was informed I could only have twelve or pay 4 dollars for the rest. It was my daughters birthday so proceeded. When I got to the pick up window I asked him to show me in writing where I couldnt even get 2 sauces per person. He could not took it off and gave me my order. When I pulled to check it there were NO sauces. I had to wait for a space and went in to the smirking staff. Have been avoiding this place since it opened because the drive thru is always packed. We decided to stop by because my husband was craving his spicy chicken sandwich was a little nervous but we dined in. The food was good of course it's Chic fila!!! They started bringing your food to you a plus!!! And they have a person in the lobby asking if you need a refill. She even asked as we were leaving do want us to top you up! On July 11th, I was traveling to a family reunion with my 80 year old mother. We stopped in a Chick fil A in Dumfries Va and ordered two south salads. We had been driving for several hours and only had about 20-30 minutes more to go to get to the hotel, so we decided to take the order out and eat when got to the room. We also decided to eat before unloading our luggage. We both ordered the same salad, so what I'm about to tell could have happened to either one of us. As I'm about 1/4 to a 1/2 into the salad, I noticed a 1.5 inch metal machine screw in the salad. I freaked out. By this time, my appetite was shot. I called the store, I called the corporate office and expressed my concerns. I did did the store and the corporate office a photo. Someone did call me the next day and basically offered me my money back and a couple of coupons. I'm not a fast food kind of person, but the Chick Fil A restaurants back home had started to seem a little different. I did seek professional help and was told I needed to have swallowed it before anything there could have been held accountability. Amazing. This happened on July 11th and I've struggled with sending this communication. I thrive on being a positive person. At this point, I'm still looking for answers. On or around the 15th of July, a representative informed me that I'd receive a the refund in gift card mode and a I guest a couple coupons, that I'll probably never use. I have yet to receive anything. I reached out the other day and she informed me that the zip code I gave her was off by a digit. The text transcript is a little confusing, because i saw where I sent the right zip code as well, nevertheless I have not received anything. Here's my thing, for a 1.5 inch metal screw in your salad that you almost swallowed or broke a tooth, I wouldn't have even debated the zip code issue, I would have just another coupon and a refund for about $22.00. I wouldn't want this to be a bad review as far as star rating because the majority of my experience at this location have been positive. However this morning I got possibility the worst cup of coffee I have ever tasted in my life. Screwed up my morning. No cream and I'm not sure sugar was even added. I held off drinking it until I got to work and then added some cream and sugar. The coffee in general had a very sour and bitter taste (more bitter than normal). I'm not sure what the heck happened. (3/2/2016) Fast food is generally only reserved for road trips for us. We were traveling south on I-95, wanted a quick stop with a place close to the highway. Chick Fil-A has Grilled Chicken Nuggets which are just right for our dog to snack on while we have our sandwiches and waffle fries (sometimes she gets a fry or two). The signs are not marked, but my Yelp app showed us a Chick Fil-A very close by, north on Rt. 234 (towards Manassas, not towards Dumfries). This Chick Fil-A looks brand new, the styling looked like it was trying very hard for that Pottery Barn modern rustic chic, including a colorful composite communal table, bright red glass mini pendant lights, old toy car and train decor, etc. Interior was very open, large, and bright. We were there during the lunch hour on a weekday, place was not busy and service was efficient and friendly. Our orders came out right, and quickly.
